"Then do you wish to hear from me?"

Having heard that, Ye Ming realized his mistake. He extended his hand and grabbed her slender hand.

"I am willful, but not that willful, Mother. The change in my behavior might be a bit shocking, but I know my limits." He said calmly.

A look of acknowledgment and appreciation flashed on her face. "It seems like my son really did grow during his time in wandering."

"I'm not the past self anymore. Do keep that in mind." He then reminded her and flicked the pill up as he opened his mouth and consumed it whole.
