The Heiress Spoiled by Four Brothers and One Devilish CEO-Chapter 287 She’d look like a goddess
Emily opened the door—it was Rachel, Lina, and Chloe.
"Oh my god! Sis-in-law, you’re marrying my brother today and you didn’t even tell us?" Rachel bumped in excitedly.
Lina, on the other hand, was calm and collected. She adjusted her glasses and said, "Congratulations, sis-in-law."
"Congrats, sis!" Chloe’s eyes were misty, clearly moved.
Megan stood up and took their hands. "You made it! I didn’t mean to keep it from you—I just found out myself. Mom and everyone planned it secretly to surprise me and Tristan."
They all gave Megan a hug one by one. When it came to Chloe, she wrapped her arms around Megan tightly and whispered, "Kevin told me everything. Everything will be okay, sis. I wish you and Tristan a lifetime of happiness."
Megan gently patted her back. "Thanks, Chloe."
As she let go, Megan looked at her. "I originally planned to wait until Mom’s one-year memorial to have the wedding. I’m sorry."
Chloe shook her head. "Sis, I know Mom’s watching from above. She’d be so happy to see you and Tristan get married today. Really. Don’t stress about it. You’re the prettiest bride ever—even with a baby bump."
That earned a round of laughter from everyone.
Mia held a blush brush in one hand and a makeup compact in the other. "Alright, my lovely fairies, I need to get our bride ready! If you all keep chatting, the guests will beat us to the altar."
They cleared the space, and Mia began doing Megan’s makeup. "Our LiMo is not only the prettiest bride, but also the cutest mom-to-be."
Once Megan had a flawless makeup look, Mia moved on to her hairstyle and helped her into the wedding dress.
Rachel looked impressed. "This dress is amazing! You can’t even tell she’s pregnant—it totally hides the bump."
Lina sounded serious. "Honestly, I think it’s just because Megan’s gorgeous. She’d look like a goddess even if she wore a potato sack."
Stella then brought out a blue velvet box and opened it. Inside was a dazzling diamond necklace, the heart-shaped pendant sparkling under the light.
"All these years, your dad and I felt like we owed you. This one—we got it five years ago at an auction. It’s called Heart’s Wish. It symbolizes dreams coming true. Our wish was to find our daughter... and it came true."
She carefully clasped the necklace around Megan’s neck. "You’re beautiful, sweetheart. I just want you to be happy—always."
Megan’s smile made her eyes curve. "I will be. I really will."
But Stella’s eyes welled up, and she turned away to wipe her tears. She knew her daughter was silently bearing so much—her husband had less than two months left, and the baby would never meet their father.
Megan got up and gently hugged her from behind, resting her cheek on her shoulder. "I know what you’re thinking, Mom. Don’t worry. Tristan’s gonna be fine."
Stella nodded, then draped a shawl over Megan. "It’s still chilly. Don’t catch a cold."
Outside on the lawn at the Lewis family estate, rows of white-covered banquet tables were set up, loaded with cakes, snacks, and fruit trays.
The guests mingled, chatting and laughing, thinking they’d gathered for Samuel’s birthday—completely unaware they were about to witness a wedding instead.Just then, the staff began laying down a red carpet, scattering red rose petals all over it. A floral arch made of roses was set up, and baskets full of flowers were placed along both sides of the carpet.
The fragrance was overwhelming.
Someone laughed, "Wait, is Samuel just pulling a surprise wedding today by picking a girlfriend and tying the knot right away?"
"Totally has wedding vibes going on."
"Yeah, imagine marrying into the Lewis family... that’s gotta be some serious luck!"
...
Samuel chuckled, "See? People always say I can’t find a girlfriend, but look around—so many of them lining up, I’ve got options for days."
Oliver, holding a wine glass, replied with a hint of mockery in his tone, "They’re talking about marrying into the Lewis family, not marrying you specifically. Bro, you look all cool in silence, but the second you open your mouth, the illusion’s gone."
Samuel casually pushed back his bangs, unfazed. "So what? Big bro, you’re still single, aren’t you? At least I’ve still got time. By the time I hit your age, I might already have a daughter."
Oliver gave him a side glance, his voice chilly. "You couldn’t even manage that—you’d only have a son." With that, he left, sipping his drink.
Samuel grinned smugly at his brother’s back. Just then, a group of socialites who had been whispering earlier walked over, holding their wine glasses.
"Fourth Young Master, happy birthday!"
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
...
"Sorry to disappoint, but this isn’t a birthday party—it’s actually a wedding."
Someone gasped, "Wait, are you getting married today?"
"What? I haven’t heard a thing. None of the elite girls are rumored to be engaged lately."
"Right? A wedding into the Lewis family would’ve been everywhere by now!"
Samuel laughed heartily, "It’s my little sister’s big day! Thanks for being here!"
Amid the crowd’s stunned whispers, Megan stepped out of the house accompanied by her family.
Just her presence captured everyone’s attention. Her strapless wedding dress highlighted her delicate collarbones. Even though she was over six months pregnant, she had only gained weight in her belly—her slender figure was still on point. With the gown’s flared bottom, you could barely tell she was expecting.
"Didn’t they say Mrs. Reid was pregnant? You can’t even tell!"
"She only put on baby weight, not fat. I’m so jealous."
"Honestly, she looks even prettier than celebs these days."
"I’m seriously envious. Mr. Reid has never even had a single scandal." 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
"Exactly. It’s like a fairytale romance!"
"Look! That’s Mr. Reid! He’s ridiculously handsome!"
"But doesn’t he look a bit thinner lately? Eh, who cares—he’s still my hero no matter what!"
"They’re such a perfect match, seriously!"
Tristan walked down the red carpet looking sharp in his suit, bouquet in hand, staring at Megan standing at the entrance. His gaze was deep, like it held an entire galaxy.
Zachary approached Megan and held out his arm. "Megan, congrats. Let me walk you down the aisle."
Tears welled up in her eyes instantly.
She turned to Elliot Shaw, who stood tall and stylish, wearing the very same suit she had gifted him for his birthday.
"Thank you, Dad," she said gently. "Would you walk me down too?"
Elliot was thrilled inside, but he hesitated—after all, he wasn’t her biological father. Did he have the right?
Zachary gave him a nod. "Elliot, today we walk her down together, as her fathers."
