The Hero is Hunting me!-Chapter 113: The Clash of Authority
A day later.
Inside the hidden base of the Seven Deadly Sins.
Aeron sat calmly in his seat, his posture relaxed yet commanding. His presence alone was enough to suppress the atmosphere in the room. The others were already gathered, each occupying their respective seats, waiting in silence.
He opened his mouth and spoke.
"Where is that new kid? Didn’t I already summon him?"
Hestina, with her usual teasing expression, wrapped her arms around Aeron’s arm, leaning slightly against him.
"Be patient, dear~ he’ll be here soon."
Her tone was playful, but her eyes carried a subtle curiosity.
The others remained quiet.
They were all waiting.
Waiting for Indigo.
Moments later—
The door to the room suddenly swung open.
A figure stepped in.
Indigo.
Dressed in his usual attire—formal suit, long cloak, fedora hat, and his iconic black mask—he walked in calmly, as if the suffocating tension in the room meant nothing to him.
Every eye turned toward him.
Eyes filled with killing intent.
Cold.
Sharp.
Hostile.
’murderous intent? I was only a little late because I had to stop So-ah and Min-seo from fighting over ice cream...’
Indigo thought calmly.
Unbothered, he walked forward and took a seat in one of the empty chairs.
"Sorry I’m late. I had some matters to take care of."
His tone was casual.
Almost too casual.
Behemot immediately slammed his hand on the table, his face filled with irritation.
"Are you saying those matters are more important than something this crucial for all of us!?"
Kelva spoke up from the side, clearly annoyed.
"Stop shouting. You’re about to burst my eardrums."
Behemot turned toward him sharply.
"Huh!? Who do you think you are, ordering me around!?"
As the two began arguing, Indigo silently observed everyone in the room.
’I don’t know why they suddenly called me here like this... what exactly are they trying to discuss?’
Jinhoo thought quietly.
"Enough."
Aeron’s voice cut through the chaos.
Instantly—
Both Behemot and Kelva fell silent.
Hestina remained clinging to Aeron’s arm, while Anavel watched Indigo quietly, her gaze sharp and calculating.
"This time," Aeron continued, "we will discuss the final requirement needed to open the portal."
’oh? straight to the point... but why are they in such a hurry?’
Jinhoo thought.
"With this portal opened, we will finally be able to conquer this cursed world!"
Aeron’s voice carried pride.
Confidence.
Madness.
Then he paused.
"But... we are still missing two essential materials..."
’hmm? what does he mean by that?’
"The materials we need... are light and darkness!"
’light and darkness...?’
Aeron leaned forward slightly.
"Do any of you have information on how to obtain these materials? Not naturally... but through supernatural power."
Kelva raised his hand slightly before speaking.
"From what I know, there are two individuals who possess those types of power. Light belongs to Lightnova... and darkness belongs to Helena."
’hmm... so they’re targeting Helena and Lightnova... in the original story, during the great war, they targeted Helena first without knowing how strong she truly was... and as a result, they became the second group to fall...’
Jinhoo thought slowly.
"Helena, huh... it’s been a while since I’ve heard that name," Behemot said. "I fought her once before. She’s strong... difficult to deal with."
Then—
He smirked.
"In that case, why don’t we go after Lightnova first? From what I’ve heard, Lightnova is just an S-rank hero. With all seven of us, defeating him should be easy."
’wait... what!? they’re going after Lightnova first!? that’s different from the original story...’
Aeron seemed to consider it for a moment.
"Hm... that might work... very well. Then we’ll capture Lightnova first."
Right at that moment—
Indigo raised his hand.
"I oppose this."
The room fell silent.
Aeron’s gaze shifted toward him.
"Hm? And why is that, new kid?"
"You must not fight Lightnova."
Behemot frowned.
"What are you talking about!? With the seven of us, defeating Lightnova would be effortless!"
Aeron’s eyes sharpened.
"And who do you think you are, ordering us around? You’re just a newcomer."
"I don’t care whether I’m new or not," Indigo replied calmly. "What matters is that you do not fight Lightnova."
Aeron’s expression darkened.
The others grew tense.
The air itself felt heavier.
Then—
Aeron’s aura erupted.
A deep crimson aura exploded from his body, filling the entire room with overwhelming pressure.
Everyone present was instantly forced down.
Their faces slammed against the table without their control.
The pressure was absolute.
Crushing.
Unavoidable.
But—
Indigo remained seated.
Completely calm.
’so this is similar to Sinly’s power... good... her ability is useful in situations like this...’
He thought.
Then—
A deep blue aura burst forth from Indigo’s body.
It clashed violently against Aeron’s crimson aura.
BOOM—
The room trembled violently.
Cracks began forming across the floor.
The walls started to fracture.
The table beneath them splintered like a tree about to collapse.
The others’ heads were pressed even harder into the table, the force shaping indentations beneath their faces.
Kelva gritted his teeth in pain, barely managing to glance toward Indigo.
’h-he... how does he have the same kind of power as Aeron... how strong is this bastard...’
Hestina’s body trembled as she struggled under the pressure.
’w-what is wrong with these two... their auras are equally overwhelming... I can’t hold on much longer... my head feels like it’s about to explode...’
Denove’s vision blurred as he endured the pressure.
’t-they’re both strong... no... Indigo’s feels even stronger...’
The clash intensified.
The entire room shook as if it were about to collapse.
Slowly—
Indigo’s blue aura began overpowering Aeron’s crimson aura.
Pushing it back.
Dominating the space.
’u-ugh... who is this new kid... he’s matching my power...’
Aeron thought, maintaining a composed expression despite being pushed back. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
Finally—
He exhaled.
And withdrew his aura.
The crimson energy vanished instantly.
Indigo followed suit.
His blue aura faded gradually until the room returned to normal.
The pressure disappeared.
Everyone gasped for air.
Relief washed over them.
Indigo stood up from his seat.
He walked toward the exit.
"I’ll bring Lightnova to you," he said calmly. "So don’t try to interfere."
He stopped at the doorway.
Then—
Without another word—
He left.
The door closed behind him.
Silence filled the room.
Then suddenly—
Aeron coughed violently.
Blood spilled from his mouth.
Hestina quickly supported him, panic in her eyes.
"Oh my! Aeron, dear! Are you alright!?"
"Hah... hah... hah..."
Aeron wiped the blood from his lips.
Then—
He smiled.
A sinister smile.
"It seems... we’ve brought the wrong person into our group..."
He said, glancing toward the door Indigo had just exited.
Meanwhile—
Jinhoo walked calmly through a city square in Berlin.
Without his mask.
The cool breeze brushed against his face as he moved through the crowd like an ordinary person.
’from what I felt... Aeron’s power is still below Sinly’s... which means Sinly is stronger than him... her ability is truly useful... I should thank her later for showing it to me... now I can copy it perfectly...’
He thought quietly.
A faint smile formed on his lips.
Step by step—
He continued walking.
As if nothing in this world could truly disturb him.
