The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 460: Down in the depths

Before the cracks in the sky appeared, the demon world was operating normally as it normally did. The demon queen had a truce with Frostina, not wanting to engage in conflict because she knew what had happened on the previous three continents.

None of her demon subjects agreed with her, but after hearing what had happened to their fellow demons, all of them shut their mouths and obeyed her.

"My queen, there is a crack in the sky." One of the demon subjects alerted her.

"Hmm?" Settala, the demon queen, decided to go check it out.

"My queen, please take your guards with you."

Settala chuckled. "I admire your care for me, but I am the most powerful being in this realm. No one can stand up to me."

"Is that so?" A voice came from behind her, sitting on her throne.

Settala couldn’t even sense this person arriving, let alone feel his presence. Still, she acted normally, not being surprised that he was there.

"You’re in my seat." She said coldly, looking into his eyes.

"Ahh, that’s my bad. But you see, my legs hurt from this long journey, so why don’t you let me sit here for a bit longer, kay?"

Settala didn’t appreciate being talked back to, so she grabbed the man with a projection of her hand using demonic energy, then threw him into the distance.

"My queen?"

"Put the palace on lockdown. This will be an intense fight." She powered up to maximum, then went after the mysterious man.

"Ow! Was that necessary? I just wanted to speak to you. Why did you have to grab and throw me?"

Settala wasn’t buying the guy’s words and attacked him once again, punching him in the gut, then in the face, knocking him down into a rock formation.

"Nngh! Man, do people not like speaking anymore?" The man got up, dusting his body, then saw Settala charging at him.

He sighed, knowing that talking wont work, so he resorted to violence.

"You’ll regret coming after me, you outsider! Now di-arghhhh!!"

The man grabbed her throat the moment she got close enough for him to do so. Settala was in shock, not being able to move from his grasp.

"I told you that I only wanted to talk, but here you go, charging at him and trying to kill me. Oh well, since you don’t wanna act civilized, then I won’t treat you that way."

He stabbed her chest with his hand, ripping out her heart.

Settala coughed up blood, her body going limp. "W-Who are you?"

The man smiled. "Aion."

He destroyed her heart, killing Settala.

The essence of the demon world that produced Demon Kings became dormant, waiting for someone to claim it. Aion, being a primordial in a titan’s body, had no need for it, so he didn’t even bother trying to claim it.

Instead, he flew back toward the demon palace and dropped Settala’s dead body on the ground for her royal court to see.

"Your queen is dead, and with her death, I will now be your leader. Are there any objections?" Aion asked

"Who are you to just—" The demon’s body exploded

"W-What are you—" This demon’s body exploded as well

It didn’t take a third demon to understand that this man had no intentions of facing any resistance.

"What are your orders?" A woman asked, bowing to Aion.

"Smart girl. Gather your forces, we’re going to invade the mortal world."

"My King, if I may?"

"Go ahead."

"The goddess of the mortal land will not allow us to cross over unchecked. She will have us face the hero and an army of magic knights."

"Don’t worry about that. I’ll handle Frostina. You all just focus on what you’re doing. After that, I will—"

Demonic energy swirlled around the demon woman, flooding her body with it until she transformed.

She was shocked by what was happening and didn’t know what to do. But after a minute, the energy died down, and she became the new demon queen. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Aion smiled. "Heh, congratulations. You’re now the demon queen. It seems as though you were next in line to become the queen. But don’t think that this puts you above me. After all, you know what happened to the last one who challenged me."

The woman dropped to her knees. "Of course not, my king. I shall follow your orders."

"Good. Now, here’s the plan."

Aion went over what they were to do, and after he finished informing them, he went to deal with Frostina.

"Madam Korrigan, what shall we do?" A demon advisor asked

Korrigan gritted her teeth. "Do as he says and don’t question his demands. We will overcome this trial."

"Understood."

Once everyone left, Korrigan went to her room and called her sisters.

"Korrigan! It’s nice to see you. What’s up?"

"Norrigan, Lorrigan, Morrigan, I have bad news."

Korrigan explained everything to them, explaining what had happened.

"What the hell? Are you okay?" Morrigan asked

"I’m fine. I know it was our goal for me to become the demon queen, but I didn’t expect it to happen so soon."

"Well, that saves Kai the trouble of helping you." Lorrigan laughed.

Norrigan was the sister who became the new demon queen of Sarkylla, while Lorrigan was the new demon queen of Eridani.

"We should warn Yorrigan and Torrigan. Who knows if this man will come after them as well?" Norrigan said with worry.

"I agree. Korrigan, head to the mortal world and go to Kai. He should be on your continent right now."

"That’s what I planned on doing. I heard that he was strong enough to kill Apophia with ease, so he should be able to help me fight this guy."

"That’s correct. Norrigan, you go to Torrigan, and Lorrigan, you go to Yorrigan, and explain to them what’s happening. I will defend our realms and prepare for an attack just in case." Morrigan said.

"Okay."

"Sounds good."

"Understood."

"Alright. I’ll go see Kai right now. Hopefully he isn’t going anything important right now."
