Kassandra waited for Kai, but he never came. Slightly irritated, she decided to put her duties on hold and find out what happened to him.
She sought an audience with the Count, asking what happened to Kai, but the moment she said his name, Boreman started shaking in his pants.

She walked up the stairs, waving to people since she was sort of an icon in the city, and made her way to Kai’s room.

"I don’t think I want to be an Adventurer anymore. I never cared to be one in the first place, and after what happened, I don’t think I can handle the stress anymore." Stacy admitted.
"I knew you would say that." Sasha hugged her friend.
"What about you, Sasha?"
She sighed, thinking about her answer. Then she looked at Kai, then at Stacy.
"I...I think I’ll stick to being an Adventurer. It’s my way of life at this point. While I know blacksmithing, I love adventuring more. Sorry, Stacy."
"No, it’s fine. I knew you would say that. I just want you to be happy. Don’t worry about me. The guildmaster already said she wants me to become her assistant anyway." She smiled.
"That’s great! I’m so happy for you! " They hugged each other and shed happy tears. "I guess I’ll be a solo adventurer for the time being, heh."
"You can join my Party." Kai offered. "We may not be an S-Rank Party yet, but we’re close to being a B-Rank Party."
"Really? Will that be okay?" Sasha wondered. Normally, she wouldn’t join the party of people she didn’t know, but since he not only saved her life, but also killed Carlos the Jabber, she had no reason not to trust him.
"Of course. If you don’t wish to, that’s okay as well."

Sasha looked at Stacy for approval, who smiled and nodded, giving her friend her blessing.
