Chapter 707: Three Favours

Elias walked into the penthouse with a smile on his face. Ever since things returned back to normal, he had been chipper. Lady Sophia was relying on his cooking once more and was awaiting him every morning.

Life was perfect. As he walked in, he noticed a figure sleeping on the couch in the living room. His face tilted to the side slightly and shook his head. It looked like his lady had worked all night and had fallen asleep in the living room.

She was such a good leader in that regard, putting her own health aside for the needs of her staff.

Elias decided to make an extra special breakfast this morning; It would be just what she needs to start the day after a long night of working.

Upon entering the kitchen, Elias took in a deep breath and began his magic. He even took some of the exotic goods from Sophia’s deep freezer. He still couldn’t tell what meats she was buying and where from, his palette couldn’t quite place it either, but it tasted pretty good and he could make it even better for her!

After thirty minutes he had made a wonderful breakfast from the heart and put it on a tray. He then walked into the living room and announced himself. "Lady Sophia, I have your break-faaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!"

Elias dropped his most recent labour of love and his scream was so loud that Sophia heard it from upstairs while she was getting dressed. "Elias? What are you screaming for?" She asked briskly walking to her balcony. The man was as pale as snow as he pointed to the couch.

"Alien! Alien! There is an alien!" He screamed once more, pointing towards the couch.

Sophia sighed, getting ready to kill her chef after one of her underlings fucked up, but to her surprise, she wouldn’t have to. There actually was an alien on her couch. Fast asleep. It was purple and green, a clear indication it was not one of her lot.

Walking casually she descended her stairs and said. "Elias come here."

Elias ran over, Sophia probably wanted protection. And while he was scared, he would protect her if push came to shove.

"Don’t worry, my lady. I will keep you-"

Sophia knocked the man out. Fast and painless and put him on the floor. Better he not be awake for whatever is occurring. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Sophia walked to the alien. It looked physically weak, but she wouldn’t take a chance. Walking over to her bar, she reached underneath the counter and pulled out a Plasma pistol and returned to her other couch and sat down.

She then leaned over to the table in front of her and picked up her bowl of potpourri and started throwing the dried and fragranced biomass at the alien one at a time until it began to stir.

"Ugh..." The alien murmured as it pushed itself upright. It blinked its eyes a few times, getting used to the light before looking directly at Sophia with its big purple eyes. "Oh, hey Sophia. Nice to meet you in person, could I trouble you for a glass of water?"

Sophia frowned, she didn’t like being in the dark. "How about a nice blast of super heated hydrogen to that avocado shaped head of yours? Who are you and how did you get in here?"

The alien did not react to Sophia’s threat, it simply stretched and a moment later a chiming started up to Sophia’s right, her communicator was chiming.

"That should be Apollo, you might want to get that, he will vouch for me." The alien said before standing up and began walking to the bar.

Sophia hesitated a moment, but picked up the communicator. "Apollo? To what do I owe-"

"-The Shanay! Is it there?" Her sweet asked with a mixture of emotions in his tone.

"There is a green and purple alien? Is that a Shanay? Apollo what is going on? It was asleep on my couch just a moment ago, woke up and said you would vouch for it? Hello?"

...

I took a moment to recover from what just happened. Everything the Shanay had said was true.

"My love, can you put Vezzrah on the communicator for me?" I asked. "Of course, my sweet. She is just- Drinking from one of my vases! Put that down and use a glass! It’s a collectible!"

Despite the current situation, I chuckled at Sophia being materialistic despite her proclaiming profusely that she wasn’t.

I heard a little bit of bickering, before another voice spoke through the communicator. "Hello Apollo, are you well? Allow me to say sorry that my disappearance stopped your fun time with Onyx and Orchid. But my species usually doesn’t spend more than one day out of water at a time, so you can imagine how the past month has been for me. So after speaking with you, I needed to get out."

I paused hearing this. I had too many questions, but the simplest way to filter out a great deal was with the perfect opener. "Vezzrah, are you friend or foe?" As I asked this, my memory started to recollect itself, the brief telepathic overload we had was starting to come back to me."

"I am a friend, Apollo. A very good friend. I know you worry for your lovers, for Sophia especially at this moment, but be reassured, she can turn me into biomass at a moment’s notice. I have no offensive capabilities."

I frowned, despite being relieved. "So, what do you want? Is there anything I can do? Sorry, I am just a bit paranoid, I love Sophia very much and I am worried for her."

I heard Vezzrah sigh, but not dejected. "Apollo, due to Onyx, you know how foresight works. And while my foresight doesn’t work the same way as hers, it’s fundamentally the same. I cannot tell you of events. It’s not your time. I just need Sophia’s help with a few favours and then I will be gone."

I felt conflicted hearing that, my experience with foresight had been a bit too hectic for my liking and I wanted to know what was happening, but I also know that knowing something makes it almost fixed and I don’t want to know of fixed points.

However, I was trusting another source that was not my head... Or my second head. My Origin. I could feel the urge that trusting Vezzrah was the right decision and since we had come to the decision not to destroy our body at the slightest thing anymore, I trusted myself, so...

"Ok, can you put Sophia back on for me Vezzrah?" I asked.

"Oh, it’s on loud Apollo, I heard everything~" Sophia said sweetly, probably because I mentioned my worry for my cute bio-cultist. Our last conversation was a little bit of a scolding after I confronted her about Janine, so she was probably relieved I was not still mad.

"With My Origins judgement, I trust Vezzrah; So help her out babe. I have a feeling it will be beneficial for us. Oh and Vezzrah... Don’t make me regret this. Please."

"Of course Apollo, On my life, you won’t regret this." Vezzrah commented and I just sighed.

"Ok, well. You two discuss what you need to do. Well I am going to go back to what I was doing when we’re interrupted. Orchid won’t stop touching my penis so Onyx and I are going to get back at it while she watches for being naughty while I am talking. We will speak again later, Sophia. I love you."

...

Sophia sat back on her couch, with a love struck expression. It was only a second later she remembered the presence of the alien. "Oh right. So, Apollo said to help you out, so I will. I am sure you know of what I can and cannot do with my current power, so ask away.

"Oh, don’t worry Sophia. I won’t be asking for your Emphemra dresses or anything, I know how much you love them." Vezzrah teased, prompting Sophia to look away "I don’t know what you are talking about... I only have expensive dresses for purely functional reasons, if you need one, you can have one..." She said, feigning ignorance.

Vezzrah smirked. "Tempting, but my species doesn’t like wearing clothing heavier than what I currently have on. A dress would just feel wrong to me. No, I simply need three things from you and none of them require you to leave this penthouse."

Sophia smiled hearing this. Easy favours were always preferred. "Very well, ask away."

Vezzrah nodded and got right into it. "First, I need a special blend of your concentrated poison. I need it to be as pungent as you can make it and I need a pint of it."

Sophia nodded. "Ok, it will take a few days as changing the balance to make it smell will require me to create a new formula. What else?"

Vezzrah continued. "Second, I will need to use your bathtub for the duration I am here. A week, but you will only have to deal with me for four days."

Sophia simply nodded her consent to this one. Truly trivial.

"And third, I will need a T-shirt from your personal collection. I need it for-"

"-Absolutely not! I only have twenty left with his scent on! I am not giving them away!"
