The Last King Of Darkness-Chapter 1557 - 738: Above God
Rod’s heart was full of questions, but he couldn’t voice them.
The Colorful Dream and the Dream Factory belong to the secrets of the Dream Realm. Mentioning them in any form would cause further disturbance.
And currently, the Dream Realm cannot withstand more Source Feedback. The encounter in the Demon Wilderness was still vivid, and with their current strength, they cannot resist the invasion of those terrifying entities.
Of course, the King might know of the Dream Realm’s existence, at least understand that Rod is extremely special. But this was a fact he deduced through his wisdom, and he carefully avoided mentioning it. Between them, there was always a peculiar tacit understanding. Rod knew the King’s uniqueness, and the King knew Rod’s special nature.
Now, the King’s secret had been exposed, causing all the consequences it could cause, resulting in unbearable outcomes. If not for the Shield of Darkness from the puppet blocking that fatal blow, the King might have perished.
If one day, the secrets of the Dream Realm are exposed, will it cause the same consequence?
If the consequences are indeed the same as those of the Source Heavenly God Throne, Rod cannot guarantee that someone would be there to block that fatal blow for him.
Most importantly, he vaguely felt that the Black Fog treated the Source Heavenly God’s throne completely differently from how it treated the Dream Realm.
If, as Asa said, the Supreme Will is the origin of the Black Fog, not only did it create the Evil Thought, it also left the ultimate instruction to find the Source Heavenly God Throne within the soul of the Evil Thought and specifically prepared measures to deal with it, highlighting its importance beyond doubt.
But the Black Fog didn’t have any special reaction to it. Maybe at the moment of exposure it did, but the disturbance wasn’t that great.
However, the Dream Realm was different. At the moment Rod became its master, the invasion had already begun. The Black Fog was almost suppressing the Dream Realm in every way. Any slight disturbance in the Dream Realm would cause greater feedback.
Of course, Rod knew very well that the Source Heavenly God’s throne had never appeared in history. This was its first appearance.
Yet the Dream Realm had almost spanned half of human history. According to the Book of Knowledge, most of the nine Masters of Dreams posed a great threat to the Black Fog. Thus, the fact that the Black Fog was targeting the Dream Realm could be understood.
Even if the Source Heavenly God’s throne initially had extremely high taboos, over tens of thousands of years, it never appeared, nor posed any threat or harm to the Black Fog. Thus, the Source Feedback from the Black Fog on it would gradually decline, eventually approaching disappearance.
Maybe this is why the Source Heavenly God’s throne appeared at this time, and the Supreme Will may have anticipated this.
Of course, these are all Rod’s conjectures. All of this presumes that the Supreme Will is truly the creator of the Black Fog, as Asa said, the root of all evil.
As for whether the Dream Realm or the Source Heavenly God Throne is greater, it’s a meaningless comparison.
Rod sincerely hopes for the emergence of an invincible powerhouse far beyond him, one who is unbeaten in battle, invincible in attack, sweeping away all darkness and monsters. At that point, he would naturally and submissively disappear, not only without any complaints but with genuine admiration, for he would illuminate humanity, including himself.
However, this is just a beautiful dream.
Currently, among humans, he is one of the few lights. The majority place their hopes on him, and these hopes weigh heavily, like a stone in his heart, sometimes making it hard to breathe.
But these chaotic thoughts flashed through Rod’s mind and were quickly cast aside. A true strong person would not be troubled by such soft emotions.
At this time, the voice of the Book of Knowledge also echoed in his mind:
"Master, this is definitely not a coincidence. The Dream Factory and the Source Heavenly God Throne must have some connection. Try to inquire about its details, or you can raise your questions in an appropriate manner."
Rod frowned and said, "Book, any hints and riddles are not permissible, right?"
"Yes, but you have used Colorful Dream in front of humans. They know it’s your special soul creation. You can’t describe its exact function or real name, but you can express your questions."
Rod immediately understood the intention of the Book of Knowledge. Then, he went on to ask the King all the details about the Source Heavenly God Throne, including its usage methods, its range of action, its limitations, its strength, and so on.
The King also answered all, in meticulous detail.
As the questions deepened, Rod’s heart gradually became heavier. Undoubtedly, the abilities of the Source Heavenly God’s throne are almost indistinguishable from the Colorful Dream, and it doesn’t require Nightmare Fuel, with almost no limitations. Its strength can be so high that it directly affects the actions of King Level Monsters. Even the Battle of the Blood God was indirectly influenced.
One could say the Source Heavenly God’s throne is an enhanced Colorful Dream.
As long as the King’s spirit can endure, he can use it without limit.
Previously, it was through this method that he intended to forcefully break through the True King.
Of course, such forceful measures cannot succeed. That would be tantamount to directly colliding with the entire Sea of Source. If it could succeed, the Sea of Source would have collapsed, and the world would have followed suit.
Yet, although he didn’t succeed, it also caused his Spiritual Energy to increase infinitely, reaching unimaginable heights.
It is also for this reason that the King harbors no fear about his advancement, but likewise during the True King Ceremony, the Ancient Evil Thought sensed the King’s foundation.
