Chapter 1015: Chapter 1015: Little Susu Really is an Angel
After speaking with Susu, Yan Minmin turned her head to see Wang Qing looking at her with unfriendly eyes.
Yan Minmin’s smile at the corner of her mouth became even more elegant.
Then she turned back to report to the Qin Family Matriarch, "Mom, this is the work I finished today, please take a look."
Yan Minmin handed a stack of files to the Qin Family Matriarch.
Yan Minmin had been at the Qin Family’s home for the entire day, bustling about with a flurry of activities. Though she hadn’t stepped out of the house, she hosted numerous meetings, with managers from various related industries coming over to discuss matters.
The day had passed with her feet barely touching the ground, and yet significant progress had been made.
The Qin Family Matriarch, looking at the impeccably organized work results of Yan Minmin, felt considerable appreciation in her heart.
She was quite satisfied with her work capabilities, but still simmering with anger, she kept a stern face, pretending to be indifferent.
"It’s alright," the Qin Family Matriarch answered.
"Okay, then I’ll continue to work hard tomorrow," Yan Minmin said with a smile spread across her face, knowing her mother actually approved but was just not over her anger yet. This proved she needed to try even harder and keep proving herself.
"Mhm," the Qin Family Matriarch responded with a tsundere expression.
Wang Qing pursed her lips, knowing that Yan Minmin was challenging her, but she was powerless to respond.
Initially, she could help out at the company, but now being ill and pregnant, she could do nothing but watch as Yan Minmin flaunted her presence in front of their parents.
This feeling of helplessness and passivity left her feeling very stifled.
Susu looked back and forth between her third sister-in-law and her mother, her eyes darting cunningly:
"Mom, does that mean you can read me a picture book tonight? It’s been such a long time since you’ve read me a picture book."
The Qin Family Matriarch’s heart tightened involuntarily; she realized she had been so busy recently that she hadn’t read a picture book to her little darling in quite some time.
"Sure, Mommy will read to you," the Qin Family Matriarch hurriedly agreed.
"What about Yuanyuan, can he listen too?" Susu asked, holding Su Yuyuan’s hand.
She wouldn’t forget her nephew Yuanyuan when such a good opportunity presented itself.
The Qin Family Matriarch looked at her little grandson’s cute and dazed face and hesitated.
Of course, she was willing to read a picture book to her little grandson, but...
"Little Cutie, Yuanyuan has his parents to read to him," the Qin Family Matriarch explained.
"But Yuanyuan’s mother is busy helping out, she doesn’t have time to read picture books," Susu responded.
"But in the evening, Yuanyuan should go back to his own home," the Qin Family Matriarch said.
Children of his age are best off with their parents, though as a grandmother, she also wished to keep her grandson with her.
"It’s okay, Yuanyuan can sleep here tonight," Yan Minmin hastily said.
"Are you planning to just leave Little Yuyuan alone? A baby of his age can’t be away from their parents. Of course, if you’re not planning to take responsibility, you might as well leave him with us," the Qin Family Matriarch inquired.
"No, of course, I’ll take care of him. I always remember what you said, Mom. Before the little ones go to school, it’s best for the parents to look after them and teach them personally. Every baby is a gift from heaven and should be treasured," Yan Minmin quickly explained.
Susu immediately got to the crux of the matter: "Then let’s all stay over! Tonight, Yuanyuan and I will listen to picture books together, then sleep with Yuanyuan’s daddy and mommy!"
Inside, Yan Minmin was having a melodramatic moment: How could there be such an adorable and understanding Little Cutie in this world!
Little Susu truly was an angel!!!
Then Yan Minmin looked expectantly at the Qin Family Matriarch...
