The Lust System: Brother, Please Help Me-Chapter 27: The Car Accident
Aiden looked at Ember, surprised.
"Do you know who it was?" he asked.
Ember nodded. "It’s most likely Valentina. She had come to me earlier about you. I got caught up with the Covenant and forgot tell you."
Aiden hugged Ember tight, "What did she want?"
"Well," Ember said, smiling. "Apparently, you’re obsessed with me, and the only reason you want me is because of some weird sister fetish. Oh! And because of the bracelet."
"What if I am obsessed with you and have a sister fetish?" Aiden’s dark eyes locked onto Ember’s.
"That’s fine," she snuggled into him. "I have a brother fetish." Ember got close to his ear and whispered, "Brother, your sister’s pussy is leaking. Do you have anything that can stop the leak?"
She quickly wiggled out of his arms before he could do anything. She stood there looking at him. Poised and ready to run if he makes a move.
Aiden smiled as he looked at her. His cock, which had started to soften, became hard again.
"Em, you’ll be the death of me one day, you know."
"I didn’t do anything," said Ember, looking like the picture of innocence. If it weren’t for the fact that her blouse only barely concealed her nipples at the moment, she would definitely look innocent.
Taking a step, Aiden said, "Didn’t you ask for help? Come, let your brother stop your pussy from leaking. I have something thick and hard that should do the job."
Pointing at him, Ember said, "Stay away from me. Remember, we have to check the warehouses. Even if there’s nothing in it, we should still take a look."
Aiden stopped walking, "It’s already late, we don’t need to check it now. We can take a look tomorrow."
"Fine," Ember said, looking at Aiden warily. "I’m going to take a bath." Ember edged around the room. Making sure she was far enough away from Aiden.
Don’t think she didn’t see the way his eyes looked at her. He would pounce if she let her guard down.
Aiden’s eyes tracked her movements. He only turned according to her movement, but didn’t step any closer.
When she was finally at the door, she couldn’t help opening the door quickly and running out.
Aiden watched her run before laughing and going back to his work.
That night, Ember was able to sleep without harassment from Aiden. She would never admit to herself that she wanted him to "harass" her.
The next day came too quickly.
Ember was dressed casually when she walked out of her room. She met Aiden in the kitchen, where he was already eating breakfast around the island. She joined him, and soon they were finished eating.
When they were about to get in the car, Ember felt a strong sense of unease. Today, they were going to check on the warehouse. They wanted to see how damaged everything was. But Ember couldn’t help shaking the feeling that something was off.
"Aiden, I don’t feel good about this. I don’t know why, but I suddenly don’t want to go anywhere."
Aiden looked at Ember. He placed his hand on her forehead and neck. "You don’t feel hot. Do you think you’re sick?"
"No, it’s not that, I just feel uneasy." Ember’s brows furrowed.
They stood outside the car. The driver was in his seat waiting for them to enter.
"How about I go, and you stay home?" Aiden said, shaking her hand gently.
Ember shook her head, "No. I don’t feel safe with you going on your own. Wait, let me check something."
Ember went to the system mall, now called the Forge of Creation. After the integration, a lot of things have changed. Even the 53,000 LE she had before was reduced by half. Now she only has 25,000 CL.
Because of her unease, Ember decides to find something to protect both her and Aiden. Viewing the options the system offers, Ember had to wonder if these were even options at all.
She would end up with burns or still feel the pain, but walk away fine. The only one that allowed her to be truly free from harm costs more than she has right now.
In the end, she decided on one with delayed pain versus immediate pain.
[Item: Override Patch]
[Cost: 2,500 CL]
Ember used 5,000 CL to buy the two patches. They would activate if there were any accidents. It claims to help them regenerate any damage as it happens in real time, but one hour later, we would feel the pain.
Ember couldn’t help shuddering when she saw the description. But she would prefer to buy it and have nothing happen than to have something happen, and she didn’t buy it.
She entered the car with Aiden, raising the partition as soon as she got in.
She immediately took the patch out of the system space.
"Here, put this on your arm under your sleeve." Ember handed the patch to Aiden while putting hers on her arm.
"What’s this?" Aiden asked.
"Something that can save our lives if we need it. Just remember not to curse me out too much later?" Ember winced, thinking of the possible pain again.
It would take a while for them to get to the warehouse. Ember decided to check the Covenant Engine to see exactly what was new.
"Aiden, I think I’m going to sleep for a while." She said, leaning against his shoulder.
"Little thing, didn’t you wake up not too long ago?" Aiden smiled.
Ember clicked her tongue. "I’m taking a cat nap, do you feel better if I say it that way?"
Aiden chuckled, shaking his head. "Okay, anything you say, little kitten."
Ember closed her eyes to look at the interface. It looks nothing like it did before.

There was also something called Path of Covenants and The Codex of Souls. Ember was about to check the Path of Covenants when the system alert came through.
[Warning: High probability collision detected]
[Threat analysis: Hostile vehicle on intercept course. Impact in 15 seconds]
"Aiden, we-"
Ember immediately opened her eyes and grabbed Aiden’s hand. She didn’t have time to say anything before she felt the impact.
A massive SUV came plowing into the car. The sound of screeching metal and shattering glass was deafening.
Aiden used his body to shield Ember.
The car spun violently. Windows exploded inwardly. The impact caused no damage to their bodies. The patch helped them regenerate as soon as the impact happened. As if shielding them from harm.
But that didn’t stop their bodies from moving as they thrashed around in the backseat of the car.
The car finally came to a stop, upside down and steaming. The silence that followed was absolute. The only sound the drop of gasoline from the car.
Aiden still hung on to Ember, shielding her as best as he could.
Only when he was absolutely certain the vehicle had stopped did he try to move.
There was barely enough room to move.
"Are you okay?" Aiden asked, coughing.
Ember didn’t respond immediately. Aiden shook her slightly when he didn’t hear a response.
Ember was shocked. Both by the accident and the fact that they were unscathed. She didn’t even realize Aiden was talking to her.
"Ember!" He couldn’t help shouting.
"I’m fine," Ember’s voice croaked."We need to get out of here."
A section of the window was available for them to climb out on after the other. On both sides of the road, the only thing they could see was trees.
The SUV that ran them off the road had stopped a distance away. Their car looked like a tin can. Ember was sure the driver was dead.
As soon as Aiden got out of the car, Ember grabbed his hand and dashed between the trees. She didn’t even look to see if anyone was around.
She had watched too many dramas to know that you never stay at the scene for the bad guy harm you again. Ember didn’t stop running until she thought she was far enough away.
Her hand still gripped Aiden’s.
"Do you know where we are?" She asked him while catching her breath.
Aiden shook his head. He had never been to this area before. All he could see was trees and tall grass.
"We need to find shelter in the next hour. A quiet place with no one around." Ember said as she browsed the stretch of land
"Why?" Aiden questioned.
"Because in the next hour, I’m about to scream my head off."
Seeing Aiden’s confused look, she smiled too widely. "Remember, don’t hate me. That’s all you need to know for now."
"Okay," Aiden replied, somewhat apprehensive.
Ember pulled him and walked in a direction, unsure of where they would end up.
