The Lust System: Hunt beyond worlds-Chapter 62: ARRIVING
Chapter 62: ARRIVING
Dust settled beneath polished hooves. All seven of them were now standing on the stone path outside a clean, beautiful mansion. A breeze passed softly over their clothes, and the sun cast a golden light on the building in front of them — a three-storey residence with wide balconies, tall white pillars, and carved wooden doors.
The residential area was quiet but filled with a sense of luxury. This was where nobles lived — real nobles.
And waiting right at the front of the house were nearly a dozen well-dressed servants, led by a tall, middle-aged man with graying hair and a sharp black coat. The moment Rozie and Shelly stepped out, their boots clicking against the stone, the workers immediately straightened up.
"Lady Rozie, Lady Shelly," the manager said with a wide smile, bowing almost too low, "Welcome back. It is an honor to serve you again. The estate is fully prepared."
"Your journey must’ve been tiring," one of the maids added, smiling warmly. "You still look perfect, my Lady."
Shelly gave a casual nod. Rozie didn’t smile, but her presence alone shut everyone up.
None of the workers even looked at the others.
Aric, Nora, Sarah, Darcy, and Lindy just stood there quietly, watching it all.
Nora, calm as usual, fixed her robe and observed everything like she was reading a book. Sarah looked mildly annoyed. Darcy was too tired to care. Lindy... she just seemed overwhelmed.
But Aric stood still, expression unreadable. He had seen this kind of treatment before — the way people bowed to wealth, ignored the unknown, and assumed the quiet ones had no value.
Then it happened.
The manager’s eyes twitched when Rozie — still silent — accepted the golden key from the silver tray. The workers expected her to go in first, like always.
But she didn’t.
Instead, she turned toward Aric.
"Let’s go," she said softly — not to anyone else. Just to him.
Then she walked up to the mansion door, inserted the key, and stepped aside.
"Please," Rozie said, looking directly at Aric. "After you."
A sharp silence fell over the servants.
The manager’s eyes narrowed slightly, the smile on his face now a little tight. He glanced at Aric — dressed plainly, not marked as noble, no rings, no crest.
Who the hell is this man?
A maid beside him blinked in confusion, whispering to another: "Is he her brother? A fiancé? He doesn’t look like a noble..."
But they couldn’t ask.
They couldn’t stop it.
Because Rozie — a high-tier noble — had just opened her own door... for a man none of them knew.
Aric walked forward, calm, composed. His boots clicked softly on the marble as he entered. Behind him came Nora. Then Shelly. Then Sarah, Darcy, and Lindy — one after the other, walking past the stunned servants.
The mansion welcomed them with a warm scent of polished wood, fresh herbs, and old luxury.
Outside, the workers were still standing.
One maid leaned to the manager and asked in a whisper, "Should we look into that man?"
The manager didn’t reply. His jaw was tight, hands behind his back.
He just kept staring at the open door.
The inside of the mansion was spacious and elegant.
A red carpet ran down the center of the marble floor, leading to a large stairway that split in two.
Chandeliers hung above, casting soft golden light across polished wood and velvet-covered furniture.
Paintings of old nobles lined the walls, and every corner smelled faintly of roses and old paper.
The living room had two grand couches facing a fireplace, and beyond that were wide hallways leading to bedrooms, study rooms, and a personal library. Everything was clean, noble, and powerful. It felt like a home meant for someone important.

Later, in the quiet of the study room, Aric stood with Rozie near a tall window. "It’s time," he said calmly. "We’ll join your guild officially. You, and Shelly are already part of it. Nora has also joined recently as it was easy for her since she is a mage.
The rest of us will enter as nobles under your recommendation." Rozie folded her arms, curious. "And then?" Aric’s eyes narrowed. "Then we climb the ranks. We get access to guild missions, contacts, magic resources... And we build a name for our house. House Halden. Slowly, people will know who I am." Rozie smiled faintly. "As you say Aric ." Aric replied, "Prepare well for our arrival."
