The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride-Chapter 698: She gained her memories back
Chapter 698: She gained her memories back
"Leave the couple alone," Misha said when she saw Sebastian close his eyes as he pulled Elliana closer to make her feel the love he had stored in his heart for her.
Azura shook her head.
"How can I -?" She started speaking, but Misha looked at her and left with no choice. The dark witch queen nodded dejectedly before doing as she was told.
She looked at her daughter’s limp body one last time before taking a deep breath.
"Please open your eyes, my baby. Don’t do this," Azura said before leaving with others.
As soon as the hall was emptied, Sebastian let go of all the restraint he had on himself and kissed Elliana more passionately.
He wanted her, the moon goddess, and all the entities in this world to feel his love for her.
If it was about kissing for a long time, he was ready to do it as long as his heart was beating and he was breathing.
He was ready to do anything for her.
A rogue tear rolled down his cheeks, and he took a shaky breath, moving his lips on her.
The more he kissed her, battling with his pain that began to return and intensify, a hope rising in his heart that she would be alright, the more he was starting to remember all the things that transpired between them.
Their first dance in the rain when she had asked him to teach her how to dance because she didn’t want to appear like a fool, how she had made him stand under the rain and look up at nature for the first time without any irritation.
He remembered the way she had bitten into his neck, taking him completely by surprise when she had drawn blood, and rather than being afraid of his reaction, she had actually licked it.
Her big, wide hazel eyes used to shy away whenever he used to steal a kiss from her. Or how she used to trust him blindly enough not to open her eyes and allow him to do whatever he wanted.
He remembered curing her wounds with his kisses and saliva, sneaking little kisses, and how he used to try to squeeze her breast in her sleep angrily when she used to throw herself at him, not letting him move or biting him in her sleep.
A sob left his mouth, choked because of the kiss he had to continue as the memories started to flood his head like a wave of Tsunami.
He had never thought that this woman in his arms, whom he had agreed to marry because he didn’t want any nuisance in his life, would become the most important part of his life, someone without whom his life would become empty and meaningless.
He compared his life with her to the year he lived after the war, realizing she was his only hope of love and happiness.
Her little habits brightened his day and filled his dead palace with the shine that only she could bring.
He wasn’t the only one who was affected by her antics. She had brought a change into everyone’s life.
Lucas and Ambrose started staying in the palace most of their time in the kingdom, and their guards actually became more expressive because they knew their princess would save them from their Prince’s wrath.
Miss Zoya started enjoying pampering her and the chef. He was so delighted to finally have someone who was a foodie and praised his cooking skills.
Her presence in the family affected not only his palace but also the royal palace.
The family dinners started to become more eventful. They started being respectful, and after they had come out with her identity, his brothers and their parents began to love and care for her.
She was like a small doll they wanted to spoil with their pampering.
Though she lived with him for four to five months, it was more than enough to nullify his entire life because that period was the only time he actually felt alive, like his heart was beating.
For the first time, he had something to look after, someone to talk to and return home to, and he didn’t want to trade that feeling for anything in this world.
The way she would smile at him with a beaming expression when she used to do something naughty or wanted to try something or how she would express her love to him with such a pure, innocent look in her eyes, he wouldn’t trade his life with her for anything.
If anyone asked him whether he was ready to die the next day, which would promise him one day with his wife, full of happiness and no problems, he would jump at the opportunity immediately.
That was how much he loved her.
How could he forget? The remaining parts and events of the war that he had completely forgotten about started appearing in his mind, and he shed more tears, hugging her close to his heart.
’Please open your eyes, Elliana. Embrace me in your arms. I have been really lonely without you. I can’t take this loneliness anymore. Just come back to me. You have been gone for long enough,’ Sebastian thought in his head, trying to channel his thoughts to her through the bond they once had between them as he kissed her.
Seeing no response from her even after so long, he was starting to lose a little hope as the pain in his head intensified.
’It’s okay. Even if we are going to perish today because of the pain, let it be by our mate’s side,’ The beast inside him said, and Sebastian nodded in agreement.
He wanted to do the same. If he were going to die, he would rather die in the embrace of his woman, the woman he loved, with everything he had.
With this thought in mind, Sebastian grabbed Elliana’s hand.
As soon as his hands, which were stained with his blood, touched Elliana’s hand stained with her blood, he felt as if everything went blank in his head for a second.
It was like a flash that made him blind, nullifying everything inside him for a second.
What was happening? He wondered, not removing his lips from Elliana’s, and was about to even his position to be more comfortable when he finally felt it.
Elliana’s lips moved a little.
His pupils dilated, and he wanted to look at her joyfully, but he didn’t know when to stop.
What if this was a part of the process, and he needed to continue kissing her? Not wanting to take any chances, he kissed her more aggressively, and it wasn’t long before he heard her groan.
"Are you going to eat me alive today, Mr. Marino?" Elliana mumbled against his lips, but it was more than enough for Sebastian to freeze in his place.
She spoke. Finally, after so long, she spoke, and this time, she didn’t call him Mr. Sebastian or something. Rather, she called him Mr. Marino.
Mr. Marino. It meant she remembered him, right?
Sebastian removed his lips from hers and looked into her eyes with hope.
"Cara?" He asked.
Elliana blinked at him innocently.
"Cara? Who is that?" she asked, and Sebastian’s hopes started to die before he saw her lips twitching.
He looked at her with a helpless expression.
"Seriously?" He asked.
Elliana blinked again.
"Can’t I tease my husband?" She asked as tears brimmed her eyes and Sebastian pulled her close, hugging her as if his life depended on it
