The Master Programmer-Chapter 79: Perfect Alignment 2
Marcus flinched, his lips parting to protest, but Jason raised a hand to silence him. "I don’t tolerate embarrassment," Jason said, his tone cutting through the night. "From now on, when I give an order, you follow it. No questions, no hesitation. Understand?"
Jason looked at them, and then with a bit of hesitation, the three began nodding. Jason sighed. Damn, these fuckers. They were continuing on with their bullshit. Still hesitating. Maybe he needed to apply a bit more pressure. Jason stood there for a long time, letting the weight of his words hang in the air, pressing down on the trio. After another moment, he turned away, gesturing for them to follow.
They followed him quietly, realising that the atmosphere around him had changed subtly. It was like the story he had told them before was coming true… Like the darkness had descended upon them who were standing there by the cliff, and they were about to throw themselves to their deaths.
Even though they felt this way, even though they knew that following him was not a good thing, they couldn’t help but follow. After all, if they didn’t, something even worse might happen to them.
As they walked, Jason spoke again, his tone almost conversational. "And another thing… stop talking about money in strip clubs. You’re drawing attention we don’t need. What were you doing? Flexing for a bunch of low-value women?"
Marcus and the others nodded, their heads hanging low like scolded children as they allowed him through the darkness. It seemed he had forgiven them for that thing that happened. At least that was what they thought, but in the next moment, the wind blew and Jason stopped again.
He turned back to them, his gaze narrowing. Without warning, he punched Marcus square in the gut. The force of the blow sent him doubling over, gasping for air. Fuck! He had forgotten just how terrifyingly strong Jason was! It had even given him something that had made him almost keel over and die.
"What the hell?!" Marcus wheezed, clutching his stomach.
Jason ignored him, his eyes now on Marek and Mousa. He struck each of them in turn, his movements precise and unrelenting. They crumpled to the ground, writhing in pain.
Jason crouched down, his face inches from Marcus’s. "Did you think I forgave you? Really? You think I forgot? " he hissed. "You think I forgot how you sold me out? How you let my name slip to people who shouldn’t even know I exist? You fuckers still don’t understand the situation you are in, do you?"
Marcus tried to speak, but Jason grabbed a fistful of his hair, forcing him to look up.
"I don’t forget. And I don’t forgive," Jason said, his voice a low growl. "You’re alive because I’m feeling generous. But make no mistake… you are expendable."
He released Marcus, letting him collapse back onto the ground, scraping is forehead on the ground and letting some blood out on the floor.
"You’re supposed to be their leader," Jason continued, his gaze cold and unyielding. "Teach them respect. If you can’t do that, teach them fear. Because if I ever feel disrespected again, I won’t be so lenient. Not against them, and especially not against you. Do you Understand?"
Jason stood there, waiting for an answer, and Marcus raised his head, saying, "I understand!"
He straightened, brushing off his hands as if the encounter had dirtied them. "Now, go home. I’ll need you soon. And when I do, you’d better be ready. Remember what I said before. Never forget. Because trust me, if you act in a way that is not in my best interests, I won’t forget it either.."
After saying that, the three looked at him with looks of fear, and Jason looked at them with this look of disgust that was written all over his face. "What the fuck are you staring at? Get up!"
The trio scrambled to their feet, their eyes wide with a mix of fear and shame. They nodded fervently, too afraid to speak.
Jason smirked, satisfied. "Good. Now fuck off!"
As they staggered away, Jason turned, leaving the alleyway and flagging down a taxi. He leaned back in the seat, exhaustion washing over him. The weight of the day pressed on him, but there was a flicker of satisfaction beneath it.
He had accomplished a lot that day. It had been a bit distracting and maybe way too difficult to manage, but he had done a lot, and in all that time, he had learned much too, about his abilities and his ability to go above and beyond himself.
Starting the day with handling Samantha, and then handling the receptionist Mia, and then handling Veronica, and then Emily, and thereafter getting involved in some gang business that he only barely resolved through ingenuity and perspicacity… This was one of the most interesting days ever.
Looking at his system panel, he couldn’t help but smirk.

Those three were initially his subordinates. Fucking bastards. Fucking idiots. Fucking bastards bitches. And then in the next moment, when he finally saw what was happening only to be met with the ideas of his world, he couldn’t help but smirk. It was also at that moment that he finally saw the house.
He was finally home. Wait, was this his home now? How interesting… The thought of it was pretty interesting to him. There was just something about living in a woman’s house that was so disgusting... Jason did not feel good about this. He’d rather get his own house, and then get a house and move her into it.
When he finally arrived home, the house was dark and quiet. Veronica must be asleep by now. Well, it made sense. It was already midnight. Way past his bedtime. Jason would have a terrible time waking up tomorrow. He just knew it. Jason climbed the stairs with a sigh escaping him, his muscles aching with every step.
He peeled off his clothes and stepped into the shower, letting the hot water wash away the grime of the day. Emily’s situation was a delicate one, but he had the ability to use her to break her father. That was not going to be a problem. The issue was Veronica… What was she going to do? Jason sighed as he let the water fall on his body.
Seeing the flashing blue on his screen, he sighed again… Damn… He had a new mission. Wait… it was plural.

Interesting… These were way too intense... But at the same time, they were pretty amazing too. Taking over the Snake Gang meant... taking over everything Troy owned or turning troy into a subordinate? How interesting. But at the same time, it was pretty funny to see...
ANd the other ones. Building a Net Worth of 100 Million Dollars, and even starting a company and making sure that it had an Average recurring Revenue of 10 million was also pretty intense. But again, these were not impossible. Where there was a will there was a way.
Jason thought a bit more would open them up the next few days. He just did not have the mental capacity to be planning too much on what to do in the future. This was especially true since he was busy right now. He would finish the ones he was doing right now. Everything else would come later.
Afterwards, he wrapped a towel around his waist and headed to his room. The darkness was a welcome relief, a sanctuary from the chaos outside. He let the towel drop, sighing as he slipped into bed.
But the moment his body sank into the mattress, he froze.
What the fuck…
There was someone else in the bed.
Was it an assassin? Did Troy send someone after him just as he had expected? What a perfect plan to send someone for him when he least expected it...
Jason’s heart raced as his senses sharpened. But in the next moment, before he could take any action, a scent hit him. This was a scent he knew very well. This soft scent of perfume lingered in the air, sweet and intoxicating… it could only belong to one person.
His eyes adjusted to the darkness, and he could make out the faint outline of a figure curled up under the sheets. No way… That hair, black and long… No way… Her breathing was steady, her presence utterly at ease. He knew that breathing so well, after all, he had put her to sleep before.
Jason’s mind raced. Why was she here? How had she gotten in?
He leaned closer, the moonlight catching a strand of silky hair.
"Veronica?" he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.
The figure stirred, her hips hitting against his exposed naked crotch, which was now getting flooded with blood after feeling the softness that had fallen upon it.
What the hell was she doing here? And what did she want to do?
