The goblin kingdom was thriving, and the borders of their capital, the city, continued to expand with rapid development. With the demons officially part of the kingdom, their contributions were swift and significant.

The transformation of the demon lands was nothing short of remarkable. What had once been a barren wasteland plagued by famine and despair now blossomed with life. Fertile fields stretched across the horizon, dotted with farmers from all races working together.

Trade routes thrived, with caravans traveling to and from the demon territories carrying goods.

Lance rode through the transformed demon lands on horseback, flanked by Veyrath. He marveled at the progress made in such a short time.

"It's incredible," Lance said, his golden eyes scanning the bustling fields. "Your people have adapted faster than I could have hoped, Veyrath."

The Demon Lord smiled faintly, his usual stoic expression softened. Looking at him, Lance couldn't help but think to himself how reliable Veyrath looked when he wasn't trying to scheme something.

"My Lord, why don't we visit the new training grounds? I had them do something different. Demons are a blessed race like the Elves after all, naturally we are blessed. With this, it should improve development."

While they discussed business and development, today was not a day of work for a certain people.

Back in the capital city, the gentle hum of activity outside the castle filtered through Lance's private chambers as it stood empty.

Down the hallway, Zarra gathered the ladies of Lance's "harem", and a few, her mischievous smile already hinting at her plans.

"Ladies, it's time," she announced, her voice carrying a playful tone.

"Time for what?" Rynne asked, raising an eyebrow as she crossed her arms.

Zarra grinned. "To test out the new bath house, of course. It's our day off, and I'm not letting anyone back out."

Mira clapped her hands together, a delighted expression lighting up her face. "That sounds wonderful! It's been so long since we've had a chance to relax together."

Aelyndra, leaning casually against the wall, catching what Zarra suggested, smirked. "A bath house? Sounds like Zarra's idea of dragging us into more mischief. But I'm in."

Kaeli adjusted her work apron she had put on before removing it, revealing her casual outfit beneath. "I suppose I can take a break. Lance will be busy for a while, and I wouldn't mind seeing this bath house everyone's been talking about."

Lia chuckled softly, brushing her hair behind her ear. "A day of peace sounds heavenly. Let's go before something interrupts us."

The newly completed bath house stood proudly towards a part of the capital, its grand design a mix of goblin ingenuity and demon artistry. Ornate carvings adorned the entrance, depicting scenes of unity and progress. Inside, the air was warm and fragrant, filled with the soothing scent of herbs and flowers.

The ladies entered, marveling at the luxurious space. A central pool sparkled under the soft glow of enchanted lights, while smaller baths and private rooms branched off to the sides.

"This is... impressive," Kaeli admitted, running her fingers along the smooth tiles. Though she had been involved in its building for a while, this was the first time she was visiting after it was completed.

Mira's eyes sparkled with excitement. "It's perfect! The kingdom's artisans really outdid themselves."

Zarra smirked. "See? I told you it'd be worth it. Now, let's pick a spot and relax."

They settled into the central pool, the warm water soothing their muscles as they leaned back and let the stress melt away.

"It's been a while since we've done something like this," Mira said, her voice dreamy.

Lia nodded, her silver hair glistening with water. "We've all been so busy. This is exactly what we needed."

Rynne, ever the warrior, stretched her arms above her head. "I still think sparring's more relaxing, but this isn't half bad."

Listening to her, Aelyndra chuckled, lounging at the edge of the pool. "You'd probably turn this into a competition if you could."

Zarra grinned. "Speaking of competition... how many times has Lance visited each of you lately?"

The question hung in the air for a moment before Kaeli burst out laughing.

"Oh, we're doing this now?" Kaeli said, raising an eyebrow.

"Why not?" Zarra replied, her tone playful. "We've all noticed. So, who's been getting the most attention? There's bound to be a favourite."

Lia blushed, her cheeks turning a soft pink. "It's not a contest..."

"Maybe not," Mira interjected with a smirk, "but if it were, I think Aelyndra would win soon enough. They spend the most time together." She said, bringing silence all over for a moment as everyone processed what she just said, especially Aelyndra.

"H-Hey… hold it there… we're not in that kind of relationship." She explained, a bit flustered.

Rynne rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the smile tugging at her lips. "You're all ridiculous."

Kaeli leaned forward, her grin mischievous. "Come on, Rynne. You can't deny it. Lance might have favorites."

The group dissolved into laughter, their teasing lighthearted.

As the conversation shifted to their roles and responsibilities, the tone became more serious. They discussed their work, sharing challenges and triumphs while finding comfort in each other's support.

"We've all come so far," Lia said softly, her gaze distant. "And it's because we're stronger together."

Zarra nodded. "It's true. But let's not get too sentimental. We've got more to do… Heh, and more competition to win."

The group laughed again.

The ladies soon left the bath house feeling refreshed and renewed.

"Same time next week?" Zarra suggested, her grin as sly as ever.

"Absolutely," Aelyndra replied, her golden eyes gleaming with mischief.

Rynne groaned, waving her off. "Who do you think has so much time? I have to get stronger fast."

"But you'll suffer from muscle loss is you don't relax them." Zarra said, her tone almost flat, causing Rynne to flinch as she had turned to leave.

"You're joking, right?" She asked, her voice low and uncertain.

"Who know? You better come along just to be safe."

With laughter and teasing banter, the moment passed and they soon returned to their duties.
