The Newlywed's Sweet Honey: Husband, Pamper Me to the Bone!-Chapter 1050: She Is That Exception (11)
She had heard this name many times from Uncle Robert. She knew his identity, knew he had been a genius since childhood, knew many, many of his stories.
Yet she didn’t know that he turned out to be so good-looking.
That day, Mu Yuze accompanied her to complete the procedures and sent her to the dormitory. He seemed indifferent, but he was surprisingly reliable when handling matters.
Su Wanwan felt a bit dizzy all along; she thought it must be because the sun was too bright.
After completing the procedures, she wanted to express her gratitude by inviting him to a meal, but soon a pretty girl found him and called him away.
"Mu Yuze, so you are here! I was wondering why I couldn’t find you anywhere." The girl clung to his arm coquettishly, "Did you see a pretty junior and couldn’t move?"
As she spoke, the girl gave Su Wanwan a malicious glance.
However, with her black-rimmed glasses and sweaty hair, Su Wanwan quickly made her lose her fighting spirit.
"Something up?" Mu Yuze didn’t show any intimacy or enthusiasm, but he didn’t pull his arm away either.
"Of course, come with me!" The girl pulled him away without further ado.
Su Wanwan didn’t even have time to thank him.
Later, she watched as one girl after another confessed to him, only to break up with him because they couldn’t stand his indifference. The rumors about him never ceased, yet Mu Yuze always maintained a position of alienation, standing apart from all the gossip.
As if all the jealousy and hysteria had nothing to do with him.
Due to Uncle Robert’s instructions, Mu Yuze always took good care of her, occasionally inviting her for meals, and every time it was a grand feast.
How did they end up together?
It seemed like one afternoon when she curiously asked him, among the many girlfriends, who he actually liked.
He lazily smiled, "Of course, I like them all."
"But how can one person like so many people at the same time? It’s not fair to them." Su Wanwan muttered softly, "Why not focus on liking just one person?"
For the first time, Mu Yuze looked at her intently, then suddenly laughed lowly, "Little girl, are you interested in dating me?"
"Wha...what..." Her face instantly turned red, with a mix of shame and annoyance.
"So many girlfriends, it seems a bit troublesome." His gaze fell upon her, bright and deep as obsidian, "Since you’re willing to save them from misery, why not suffer a loss and accept me, this troublemaker?"
Su Wanwan took a deep breath, not knowing if his calm tone provoked her, or if it was that indescribable joy in her heart; she imitated his indifferent tone and said, "Sure. I’ll take the loss then."
Then Mu Yuze laughed as if he had uncovered some secret, laughing wildly and boldly.
It was the first time Su Wanwan saw him laugh like that, vivid and within reach, making her heart skip a beat.
Maybe he was mocking her childishness, but so what, at least she made him laugh from the bottom of his heart.
But Su Wanwan didn’t take this matter to heart; she thought he was just joking.
Until she heard from others that Mu Yuze had broken off all relationships with his girlfriends and no longer accepted girls’ confessions, she realized that perhaps he was not joking.
At that moment, she finally felt a small hope that maybe she was different to him.
But facts proved that everything was just her wishful thinking.
