The People's God: Sacrificing Trillions to Ascend-Chapter 651 - Information about the Giant Shadow Civilization
On a flying ship heading toward the Giant Shadow Civilization, Han Wu was gathering information from the avatar wearing the Transmigrate helmet and his true body on the ship. The other avatars were occupied with other tasks.
Even while traveling, Han Wu continued nurturing his units and evolving his locusts using Random Evolution. While this drastically increased the combat capabilities of his units, it also reduced their cohesion. Fortunately, Han Wu had already drafted plans to counteract this.
He allowed half of the newly hatched locusts to retain the Random Evolution trait and evolve into powerful life forms. The other half consumed their hearts using the effects of the Heart Eater Sacred Object Set, maintaining an army of proper locusts for Han Wu to lead. In addition, he assigned some of his units to live in his other two Microcosms.
The Law of the Mechanical Microcosm affected the locusts living there, eventually turning them mechanical. These mechanical locusts were overall more powerful, and their Self-Detonation was also more explosive. In exchange, however, they could no longer breed. Han Wu had raised 10 billion locusts into mechanical ones to function as secret weapons that could Self-Detonate.
Then there were the locusts living on the Dead Microcosm. The death aura transformed those locusts into Death Aura Bugs, increasing their parameters and stats. They also gained a new ability called Instant Death.
Death Aura Bugs had a chance of injecting their death aura into their victims when attacking, causing instant death. The success rate of this depended on the strength gap between them and their victim. It had good potential, so Han Wu also sent 10 billion locusts to live on the Dead Microcosm.
After dealing with his core race, Han Wu turned his attention to the other races. He created a larger forge for the Scorching Dwarves so they could churn out equipment for him.
Every few days, Hammie, now anointed the Smith God, would forge a piece of God equipment for Han Wu as tribute. Han Wu stored an abundance of Hammie-made God equipment in his vault for future use.
Han Wu also paid attention to the minotaurs, Tigermen, and Half-Dragons in his divine realm. The powerful Gene Catalysts that the Origin of Mutation had created had far greater effects on these three races. Han Wu estimated it would take less than a hundred years for the first Heavenrender-born life form to appear from these three races after consuming the Gene Catalysts.
Then, there were the Epistians. The Epistians mainly focused on developing and researching Mystic Arts, but they recently expanded to researching mechanical engineering as well. Ji Zhongyi, the genius reincarnated Epistian, was the leading expert. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
Under Ji Zhongyi’s guidance, a pioneering group of young Epistians commenced research on mechanical engineering, lauding themselves as the new generation of Epistians. They tinkered with machines all day, and there were many incidents of their machines exploding. There were even some casualties from the accidents.
Even so, this didn’t stop them from researching machines. In a show of support for their endeavors, Han Wu used his name as their God to create many BD-04 Luxuns using Fabricator and assigned one to each of them. This not only ensured their safety but also made research easier.
Finally, Han Wu created a brand-new caldera using fire-related treasures for the Flame Demons. Karot, the Flame Demon King, would also occasionally replenish the fire in the forges of the Scorching Dwarves.

Han Wu spent plenty of effort nurturing his regular units, but he made sure to focus on improving his more powerful ones as well.
The match with the Divine River Civilization had resulted in a few First Series Gene Catalysts falling into his hands. He had already consumed Omniversal, and he intended to keep Annihilating Lightning for Qin Shuang, leaving three more: Warmaster, Carnage, and Void Hunter.
Han Wu gave the Warmaster Gene Catalyst to Steely. Steely had followed him for many years and had done all sorts of meritorious deeds. Han Wu could never ignore him. He gave Warmaster to Steely for two reasons.
Firstly, after the Origin Virus had modified Steely into his Hecatonchires form, he had to wield 100 God weapons at once. The intensity of the combat often meant he would have to replace most of these. Consuming the Warmaster Gene Catalyst meant Steely could use his own power to form Obsidrum weapons and armor, saving Han Wu a lot of money.
Secondly, Obsidrum Judgment could kill Gods, making it an extremely useful and powerful technique for Steely to have.
As for the final two Gene Catalysts, Han Wu gave Carnage to Akanzor and Void Hunter to Bart. Once the three of them finished incorporating their respective Gene Catalysts, they would most certainly become World life forms. Han Wu would then have three more Microcosms in his consciousness.
Han Wu was still busy nurturing his units when Jiang Ming called him. Ever since Han Wu had bought his freedom from Commerce, he had been actively trading in various civilizations to earn money for Han Wu.
He had called Han Wu after hearing that the latter was headed for the Giant Shadow Civilization. Jiang Ming had once been there to purchase the Giant Protectors, so he was quite knowledgeable about the region.
After consolidating all the information he knew, he sent it to Han Wu in a report. Han Wu checked the report and relayed the information to his transmigrated avatar in the Giant Shadow Civilization.
The other Hanwu was staring at the fifty-meter-tall wall surrounding the Giant Wood Village when he received the information. It turned out that the Giant Shadow Civilization had undergone a type of merging.
The Giant Civilization had invaded the Shadow Ninja Civilization, only to be met with fierce retaliation. Locked in a stalemate, the two civilizations had ended up forming the Giant Shadow Civilization instead.
Eight major villages in the Shadow Ninja Civilization represented the eight noble households, with each corresponding to one of the eight parameters a ninja could have. Each village also had a secret scroll that allowed one to improve their corresponding parameter above its usual limit, though only Masters and above could read it.
When an individual maxed out all eight of their parameters, they became eligible to receive the core power of the Shadow Ninja Civilization. However, no one—not even Jiang Ming—had any idea what kind of power it was.
The Giant Civilization had a similar belief as well. Nine Giant Sages had once led the initial invasion of the Shadow Ninja Civilization. If one could gather the power of all nine Giant Sages, they could rule the entire civilization.
Jiang Ming also included a curious tidbit at the end of the report. According to legend, anyone who could harness both the core power of the Shadow Ninja Civilization and the powers of the nine Giant Sages would become the ultimate master of the Giant Shadow Civilization.
But no one had ever succeeded before.
