The Regressor's Younger Brother's Insanity-Chapter 60: Axion von Ravenfall
In Aether’s previous life, the Ravenfall family was one of the key families that had sided with his comrades who betrayed him.
But the man who led the Ravenfall family wasn’t Thalia’s father, but Thalia’s uncle.
Thalia’s uncle had backstabbed her father and killed every heir, including Thalia, before becoming the family head.
People also said Thalia’s uncle was weak in magic compared to Thalia’s father. But he was still able to kill Thalia’s father. That meant Thalia’s father was so shocked that he didn’t even want to live.
Well, that’s what the rumors were, at least.
A wise man once said, betrayal always comes from the people close to you.
But in this life, Aether knew about the Ravenfall tragedy, and if he could manipulate them, then Aether would gain great power.

"Young lord, don’t panic, she is completely fine." the Ravenfall family Patriarch said, reassuring Aether.
Aether looked at the Ravenfall family Patriarch and quickly recognized him.
Aether bowed politely and introduced himself, "It’s an honor to meet one of the ten Supremes of the Empire. I’m Aether Noctvain, eldest son of the great Noctvain family."
Ho, eldest son, but not the heir, Thalia’s father thought to himself.
As Aether told him he was a son, not the heir, it meant he didn’t want to brag about his identity. That explained Aether’s humble nature. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Seeing his politeness, Thalia’s father, Axion von Ravenfall slightly smiled and spoke in a gentle way, "The honor is all mine. You’re helping with my son’s recovery. I’m in your debt."
Aether looked at him in disbelief.
The higher one’s status in society, the more hypocritical or prideful they usually are. But for Thalia’s father to say such humble words, it meant he wasn’t a hypocrite like the other nobles.
"Lord Axion, you’re completely the opposite of your daughter." Aether said with an awkward smile.
"Hahahaha." Thalia’s father burst into laughter. "I also think the same. She is just like her mother."
As they were having this conversation, Cierra and Thalia reached the room and entered.
"Aether!" Cierra called out to Aether in a worried tone.
Seeing Thalia and Cierra come in, and knowing they had a lot to talk about, Thalia’s father asked to be excused.
"Young lord Aether, catch up on what happened with them. I’ll go visit the Vice Patriarch."
"Yes, please. Let us meet at breakfast Tomorrow" Aether politely bowed.
Thalia’s father had reached the Arcane God Realm, equivalent to the Sword God Realm that Aether’s father had reached, so showing respect was a must.
As Thalia’s father was about to leave, Solmira grabbed his hand and said in an innocent tone,
"Let’s play tomorrow, Grandpa."
As she called Thalia’s father ’Grandpa’ Thalia turned her face in embarrassment. Her face was bright red.
Maybe it was because Solmira saw that Thalia’s father’s hair color and hers were the same red, so she had developed an affection.
After treating Thalia’s brother, she stayed with Thalia’s father and played with him.
Thalia’s father also accompanied her, as she was the one who cured his son.
"Yes, dear, we’ll play a lot next time," Thalia’s father said in a gentle tone and slowly left the room.
As he left, Aether sighed in exhaustion. Even if he wasn’t that hard to deal with, he had constantly pressured Aether with mana. Well, it wasn’t deliberate; it just happened as he reached a higher realm.
Aether then sat on a couch, and Solmira sat on his lap.
"Now, tell me what happened?" Aether asked in an exhausted voice.
Thalia then began explaining how things had happened.
"After we returned from the forest, we took you to the physician, and my brother was also there. But his condition was the worst of the worst."
Seeing him like that, Thalia broke down and cried loudly. Thalia’s father stood in the corner and was truly heartbroken.
Thalia’s brother’s condition was pretty bad. The corrupt mana was swirling like a dark torrent. But the one who could save him was Aether.
But Aether was unconscious, there was no hope of saving him.
Meanwhile, Aether’s daughter, Solmira von Legolant, was also unconscious. Cierra was carrying her. But just as she felt the corrupt mana, Solmira woke up.
She jumped toward Thalia’s brother and placed a hand on his head, as if she was trying to heal him.
Cierra thought it was just a child’s innocent nature, so she tried to take her away, but Solmira refused to go.
Just then, Solmira’s Metamorphosis skill deactivated, and her horns, wings, and tail appeared.
There weren’t many people in the room, just Thalia, Thalia’s father, Aether’s mother, Cierra, and some physicians. But all of them had their mouths wide open in shock.
The sweet little girl grew horns and wings.
Everybody was curious about her identity, but ignoring their gazes, Solmira placed her hand on Thalia’s brother’s abdomen. The corrupt mana began to be sucked toward her hand, and a black ball appeared that could be called a black hole.
It took around half an hour, and the corrupt mana was gone. Thalia’s brother’s complexion also returned to normal.
Everyone present was dumbfounded. Even Thalia was surprised. She knew Aether could help, but for the little girl to do that as well, it was unbelievable.
She is a half-dragon, after all, Thalia thought to herself.
But the absorption was possible because Solmira could wield Abyssal energy, just like Aether von Noctvain.
"So that’s what happened. After that, Father became really happy and treated her all day," Thalia said.
After hearing the story, Aether sighed in relief.
He patted her head and said in a soft voice, "You did well. But don’t overdo yourself. Rely on Papa more, okay?"
"Oky dokie" Solmira said while munching on sweets.
"Oki dokie! You’re also learning new things." Aether laughed softly.
Meanwhile, Cierra was falling for Aether more and more.
Cold Aether is amazing, but gentle Aether is waaaaaaaaaashaaaa, Cierra thought to herself. She was happy that Aether was smiling freely.
And seeing him act so fatherly making me blush. Aaaaaaaahhhhh!
Cierra covered her face with both hands in embarrassment.
’What happened to her now?!’ Aether thought, seeing Cierra blushing.
Then, after talking about this and that, someone knocked at the door.
"Come in." Aether gave permission to enter.
Then a man wearing a butler uniform came. He had an elegant look.
It was the head butler, Edwin. He then spoke in an elegant way.
"Young lord, I have a news for you."
"A news?" Aether asked.
"Young lady, Malaika von Noctvain is coming home tomorrow with her academy student council."
"Whaaaaat!"
