The Rejected Alpha's Vengeance-Chapter 563: Always Right Person, Wrong Way
[HAWI]
"I’ll ask you one last time, Islinda. What do you really want from me? Why am I here? Why are you telling me all of this? What the hell got you so desperate that you’re willing to risk my fury to get me here?" Hawi asked earnestly even though there was a warning in her voice.
She had had enough of the woman and she needed to be out of her. Islinda could choke on whatever shit she was on and Hawi couldn’t give a shit about her anymore. Not that she ever cared about the selfish deity she answered to.
Maybe this would give the woman a better perspective of what they all thought of her. It was a disappointing thing, but then it wasn’t like the woad was a better place with the moon goddess acting like she had better shit to do than care for her people either way.
"The realm is in danger, Hawi and there is only one person who can save it all from the impending danger… you," Islinda began, making Hawi stare at her incredulously. If all the woman had wanted for her was to do her job, couldn’t she have asked nicely?
Granted, there was a chance that Hawi would have ignored her and rebelled if the moon goddess tried to force shit on her, but maybe she could have still tried the approach and seen if it would have worked, right?
"So let me get this straight. You went through the trouble of triggering everything just to get me here for what is already happening? Well, let me tell you something. If you don’t stop fucking with the people I love, I will keep my promise, and burn it all down," Hawi warned.
She was sick of what this woman was doing. It was like there was never an end to the chaos that she was subjected to and hence she was at her wits end with all the chaos. She was tired of being tossed around like some doll that Islinda played with.

Honestly, Hawi’s warning was a reminder that Linda also needed to know that she wasn’t always the one with power. She had created the devil and the devil was staring right back at her, giving her the most obvious warning, but one that he would definitely act on.
Poor Islinda.
"I know. And even with all that in mind, I have to do this. I would send you back to the Savasci knights and let you live your life with Rukiya like you were meant to with your little girl, but that is not possible.
"If you think the Russels were the worst of the words over the centuries, then you’re wrong this time," Islinda sighed as she stopped the time in the werewolf realm too. This to her was the most important of things and she needed to sort this shit out and fast.
Hawi stared at Islinda, watching her cruelly as if it were her turn to tell whether this unhinged woman was trying to play games with her. However, when she didn’t see any signs of foul play, Hawi stepped back.
She had been trying to understand this woman for the past hour and nothing had made sense to her, and eyre as she looked into his eyes, she could see raw fear for the first time and it wasn’t good, especially coming from the creator herself.
"What is going on?" Hawi questions softly and this time, she was willing to listen to the moon goddess. Maybe she was finally seeing the light or she was just trying to be on the same page with the woman. Besides, it wouldn’t hurt her if she listened for once, right?
"When you left the werewolf realm, everyone felt it. Everyone knew that they wouldn’t be in danger, and with the most powerful packs uniting and forming one-half of the realm, there wasn’t much that the people could do.
"If anything, they just had to steer clear of the new Sicario while they led their lives as they wanted. The Savasci Knights had no reason to support the werewolf crown, much less the entire realm.
"The true protectors of the realm were in mourning for three hundred years and so many people took advantage of their grief," Islinda continued, holding her breath for a moment, given she knew what this meant.
She was openly admitting to screwing it up and it wasn’t what Hawi had expected, and at the same time, it wasn’t what Hawi had wanted for her. This woman had the chance to let them all be happy after five years of back-to-back war, but she had fucked that up for them.
Hawi wasn’t about to forget all of that just because the woman before her was talking slowly and trying to feign understanding, which was probably a reality that she wouldn’t want to deal with. Islinda had messed them up and that was the one thing she wasn’t about to forgive.
"And whose fault is that, dearest creator without any remorse who fucks up everything she sees for fun? Who do you want to balm this time, huh? Me? When All you needed to do was be the creator just that time?
"Maybe you should have thought about the repercussions of introducing a white wolf, using her to eliminate the worst of your creation, and then forcing her to hibernate because of grief, aligned with the realm’s best soldiers," Hawi stated distastefully.
She couldn’t believe that she had been forced to be the bad guy and the good guy all at the same time.
The selfishness of the moon goddess needed to be studied because there was just no way that this woman was the one they trusted with their lives and more than anything they had thought possible.
She had to have shown some signs earlier, but even if that was the car, Hawi had to admit that no one was as daring as her right now, and she was also only dating because she had nothing left to lose.
"Well excuse me for wanting you to have a life outside of the wars that had always been. I thought giving you a break would help you reconnect with yourself," Islinda said and Hawi snorted in disbelief. There was something fundamentally wrong with the goddess.
She was certain of it this time anyway.
"Are you always this stupid? Surely you must have seen how good an anchor the Greyson girl was to my humanity, and you still decided to take her away. Don’t give me that bullshit, Islinda. Let’s not act stupid and trend that you actually care," Hawi signed amusedly.
For someone who was supposed to be all-powerful and strong, the woman she was next to was easily the dumbest of all the creators. There was no doubt about that in her head. There was just no way that Islinda thought that fucked up strategy would work on Hawi. Explore new worlds at novelbuddy
"Fine, I thought you would bite but you’re smarter than usual," Islinda said with a laugh, confirming Hawi’s fears of her being played by the woman. Maybe Islinda had been hooking to get back the controllable figure but surely, she had to have known that she changed.
"Get on with what you’re saying, I don’t have time for this," Hawi reminded, making Islinda sigh exaggeratedly. Anyone would think that she had done the best to make things better for Hawi, when in truth, she just wanted her best soldier to step up and fight the wars.
It was what Hawi had been created for, another way, but then her primary instruction had been completed, so there was just no way that she would ever manage to get leverage against Hawi to align the way.
"There’s a gang of wolves hunting wolves," Islinda began and Hawi snorted at the absurdity of the woman’s statement. You would think that Linda had some power over the things that she had created and yet it seemed like she was helpless.
Was she that helpless thug, or was this just some shit that she wanted to see how long it would take before all hell broke loose and she had to clear up everything and force her creation into hibernation or erase their memories like with Rukiya Greyson?
"So, you want me to fight gangs of wolves? You’re crazier than I even thought you were," Hawi stated and Islinda stared at her coldly. Then again, Hawi wasn’t the kind of person to be scared easily, perhaps Islinda figured that out and changed her facial expression.
Well, this was certainly the price of playing hide and seek with the most powerful wolf to ever live, a wolf so unique that even the goddess herself hadn’t expected. Perhaps that was why she 3was so sure only Hawi could do this for her. But what was the price for it?
"Not just a gang of wolves. I know you have heard of the Salvadors in Hernia," Islinda said and Hawi stared at her in disgust. If there was one set of Europe that Hawi had sworn to eliminate herself before she cleared up the realm, then it was the damn Salvadors.
Hawi never had enough information about them because the only way to learn about the Salvadors was to go back to the realm and if she did that, then it would defeat the purpose of what she was trying to achieve by staying away from Olyana kingdom.
"No, I haven’t. What the fuck do they want that you had to hijack my portal to get me here?" Hawi ascended even though she knew so well what those creatures wanted. She had heard of the way the Salvadors killed wolves, and innocent wolves and her rage had almost gotten her back home.
"They’re killing everyone who supported you, ever. They are clearing them hit by it, and given the trajectory they are on, the final destination is the new Sicario," Islinda voiced carefully.
