Chapter 21 - 21 A Night To Be Remembered

Lying on my bed, I luxuriate in the pleasure of a much needed rest. It had been a tiring day for everyone, full of surprises, and at the end of the day anyway, I deserved a moment to myself. The soft mattress beneath me felt heavenly, and for a moment, I allowed myself to relax, closing my eyes as exhaustion seeped into my bones.

Just as I was about to drift into sleep—

Knock knock.

I groaned, cracking one eye open. "Come in."

The door creaked open, and Mabel stepped inside.

And oh, damn.

Gone was the dirt-covered, ragged girl from the auction. Now, she stood before me in a perfectly fitted maid uniform that hugged her in all the right places. The corset cinched at her waist, the length of the skirt did not go above the level of the thighs and the thigh-high stocking on the calf of the leg boosted the effects. Her crimson red hair was neatly gathered to the back and exposing a gentle face, and her lips turned up into a seductive smile.

I barely resisted the urge to whistle.

She moved in went to her center of gravity leaned out her hips only as far as to be obvious about it being done on purpose.

"So, Master... how do I look?" Her voice was like silk, soft and tempting, all the while with a feeling of slyness.

I forced myself to stay composed, clearing my throat. "You're fine, I guess."

Her pout was instant. "Just fine?" She moved again, got closer and her fingers barely touched against my chin, then down my breast. "You know, Master, we're all alone and We could have some.....fun as It's one of my duty as a slave, after all."

I swallowed. My thoughts raced through a dozen scenarios simultaneously, all becoming increasingly less heroic. On one hand, this was definitely a setup and On the other hand, I was in a novel of fantasy, and the chivalry of the sites possesses diverse moral standards. Who was I to argue with tradition?

I folded my arms, smirking. "Do you have protection?"

Mabel blinked, caught off guard. "Wha—what?"

I sighed dramatically. "Protection. You know, precautions? Or wait... don't tell me you're a virgin?"

Her face turned a deep shade of red. "O-obviously not, Master! I have experience!"

I raised an eyebrow, my smirk widening. "Oh? That's great then. I hope you'll give me a great time."

Before she could react, I grabbed her wrist and—

Thunk.

I tossed her onto the bed. She emitted a soft yelp and gazed up at me with wide eyes. I loosened the buttons of my shirt and watched her reaction, with increasing levels of blushing. Her composure faltered and at a moment's pause, there seemed doubt, reflected in her gaze. With her hands strong on the sheets, she got into the bed, and laid down on the bed.

Mabel suddenly coughed. "M-Master, maybe we should—"

"Mabel, say whatever you want," I cut in, leaning over her, my face inches from hers. "But you're not escaping tonight."

She swallowed hard. "T-this isn't how it's supposed to go..."

I smirked. "Too late."

And thus, those next 2 hours were. to say the least they were.

---

Mabel was asleep, curled up against me, with her head beside me. Her breathing was slow and even, her silver hair cascading over the pillow. A sly smile graced my lips and I gently loosened a coil of her hair from her face and caressed her cheek with fingertips along the graceful line. With this, she's finally mine.

It wasn't simply, because she can't betray me, thanks to mana contract, but I desired her possession through sincerity. And besides, I had to admit, I still had some humanity left in me from my previous life.

Still, I had officially lost my villainous virginity.

Hah! Take that, protagonist! Who says the third rate villain can't have fun?

I let out a content sigh, stretching my limbs. There was a only mild pain all over on my body though, it was a correct pain. Beside me, Mabel stirred, her lashes fluttering open. To my eyes their violet eyes locked and hers for a split second must have been stunned as if she had completely lost her way. Then, a slow, lazy smirk spread across her lips.

"Master~," she purred, snuggling closer to me.

I chuckled. "Well, someone's in a good mood."

"Mmm..." She stretched, pressing against me. "It's just that this night is... eventful."

Just then she fell asleep and I smiled at her and closed my eyes, too.

Next Morning

Knock knock.

"Young Master, I'm coming in."

Before I could say a word, the door creaked open and Serena, the chief maid, entered with a smile that wasn't at all innocent.

Mabel practically was teleported out of bed.

"Morning, Young Master," Serena said, smile too disarming to comfort me. "I trust you had a... restful night?"

I coughed, sitting up and trying to act natural. "Where's Mabel?"

Serena's smile widened. "After your... (cough) rigorous exercise, I told her to have a soak and get herself ready for her job.

I turned red. "Ahem. Right. Of course. Just tell her to put her battle clothes. She has a duel this afternoon."

Serena bowed. "As you wish, Young Master."

She turned around and walked out, and she left a feeling of being deeply embarrassed to have even been that place, a feeling that will probably never go away.

I hit the bed headboard and then I put my hands on my face. Goddammit.

Now even my maids were in on the joke.
