"A young girl by the name of Bai Xifeng." Si Tang stated firmly.

"Impossible..." Mei Lijuan shook her head immediately, refusing to believe it.
"Well... I do not know about the details. However, her name is indeed Bai Xifeng." Si Tang said while nodding.
"So you invited her to cure your mother?" Si Wuntian asked.
"Well, someone had to do it. Since her own husband has already neglected her." Si Tang mocked Si Wuntian openly, her words dripping with sarcasm.

It would be a happy ending for her. However, she did not dare to barge in, terrified that the tribulation lightning would strike her as well. Thus, she could only watch the scene helplessly, hoping against hope that Bai Xifeng would fail to protect the elixir.
When the fourth strike landed, it hit Bai Xifeng directly. Even though Bai Xifeng possessed a lightning element attribute, it still hurt like hell.

The onlookers were utterly speechless when they heard those words. They did not know how to react to such a bizarre outburst. It sounded hilarious and ridiculous all at once. Bai Xifeng gritted her teeth, facing upward with a glare.

The sixth lightning strike finally hit her. Bai Xifeng could feel as if her entire body was on fire. Eventually, the tribulation lightning clouds began to fade, signalling that the ordeal had ended. Everyone felt a wave of relief seeing that the storm was over.
Suddenly, Mei Lijuan made several subtle gestures. In an instant, a group of men dressed in black appeared, heading straight toward Bai Xifeng. They assumed she would be vulnerable and exhausted. Their goal was to snatch the elixir for themselves. Even though they did not know the exact nature of the medicine, they knew it was valuable, being a Sixth Grade God-Rank Elixir.
However, they had made a fatal mistake. They never imagined that a twist like this could happen.
"Gryffindor, come out," Bai Xifeng commanded.
The beast that had flown Bai Xifeng over earlier materialised in front of her. He let out a deafening roar. When the crowd heard it, they were forced to their knees by the sheer pressure. This included the group in black who had intended to attack. They also discovered fresh cuts all over their bodies. When Gryffindor roared, he had manipulated the air element to create invisible blades that sliced through them.
"How dare you try to attack Xifeng at a time like this?" Gryffindor said while looking at the black clothes of the men who were already lying on the ground.
Everyone was shocked to hear the beast’s voice. He was speaking a human tongue, meaning he had already reached the Lord Rank in the soul beast hierarchy. Since beast strength is usually one rank higher than an equivalent human rank, the beast before them possessed power comparable to a Return to Nothingness Realm cultivator.
