The Soul System in the Apocalypse-Chapter 522: Hunger for Revenge

Henry noticed Jasmine looking towards his direction, but he did not blame her or say anything. Instead, he directly teleported and appeared in front of the group of 100 sea monsters.

When Henry appeared in front of them, the group of sea monsters immediately trembled. That was simply because they could feel that the aura that was coming from this human was not something that they could handle at all.

Even those sea monsters that had already reached the mythical rank could not resist at all, and they felt that they were ants in front of this human.

Henry looked at this group silently. He was not sure about something. He had made a certain deal with Klaus, and it was related to the sea. But now, sea monsters had suddenly come over and attacked his territory. The number of casualties was painful to count.

This was an extremely huge loss to him. After all, this was all the manpower that could have been utilized in order to fight against the other races. But now, they were all gone. Several families had already been destroyed, and there was nothing that could be done about it.

"Who is the one that is in charge of you? In short, who instructed you to attack this territory of mine?" Henry asked as he looked at the group in front of him.

The group of sea monsters was trembling when they faced Henry who was looking at them coldly. Normally, they would definitely not reveal any information about their own race. But now, they had no choice due to the pressure that they were experiencing.

The sea monster that was in charge of this operation, an octopus stepped forward. Well, it could be said that the octopus was pushed forward by the other sea monsters as they retreated.

Since there was no any other way out, the octopus immediately decided to reveal the information.

According to the octopus, it seemed that the king of the sea race had noticed something that was completely unusual. Then, he instructed this group to come over and attack this territory and destroy it completely, before plundering the resources.

In normal situations, they definitely did not lack those resources that could be found in such a small territory. But since it was the order of the king, there was nothing that they could do other than obey.

The order was for them to destroy the human territory and plunder the resources that they possessed. Since they were just about to destroy the territory, they had already been planning on how they were going to transport the resources that they would have obtained from this territory.

Henry thought about it silently. Then, he looked at them and asked, "Do you have any information about a sea creature named Klaus?"

That was something that Henry was the most curious about. The two of them had already signed a contract before, and according to the contract, Klaus was supposed to take over they sea, and he would be under Henry.

Of course, in the contract, Henry had restricted Klaus completely, making sure that there was no way that Klaus was going to reveal information about the contract that they had signed.

According to Klaus, he had several siblings, and all of them were fighting to be the next sovereign of the sea race. But all along, Klaus was the weakest among them all, and was at a great disadvantage.

It was due to that reason that Henry managed to find several things within the system store, that would be able to enable Klaus to be able to have higher strength. That way, he would definitely be able to compete against his siblings for the power.

After hearing the question, the octopus was hesitant about revealing the information. But looking at Henry who was looking at him coldly, he decided to reveal the information.

In any case, it seemed that if he did not reveal the information, he was definitely going to be killed here. Additionally, even if he wanted to be alive, he would be killed by the aids of the king for revealing the information about the sea race, it was better for him to live a little while longer, right?

But even then, they were not that sure about what had happened to him, and for that, they did not do anything to him other than keeping watch over him.

Henry understood that all of this was just a rumor that the octopus had heard during the time that he was in the sea. But even then, it was impossible that Klaus was currently okay, considering that the sea monsters had launched an attack here, with the intention of destroying the territory and plundering it.

’It seems that I will have to make a trip to the sea. But even then, that will have to wait a little longer.’ Henry thought to himself.

It was the time for the battle for domination. And currently, the sea monsters had managed to cause a lot of casualties for the human side. This was something that was supposed to be considered normal in the apocalypse.

But, was it not normal that if a member of your territory was killed, you would go ahead and take revenge for them? Since it was the other party that attacked first, then, Henry was definitely going to take revenge for them. But before that, he had to make sure that he managed to reach the divine rank.

No matter how long it took, he would definitely make sure that he took revenge for the members of this territory that had been killed. It might be true that those that were living out of the area that was enveloped by the invisible barrier were not considered as the most important members of the territory, but nevertheless, they were members of the territory, and they were supposed to be under his protection.

Henry did not ask anymore questions, and simply turned around to leave. The sea monsters could not help but get a little excited when they realize the Henry was leaving without doing anything to them.

But they did not get excited for long, considering that not long after Henry had gone back into the territory, they suddenly realized that the space around them was squeezing them.

It was then that they realized that it was going to be impossible for them to be leaving this place alive. They had attacked the territory that belonged to the humans, it was obvious that the humans would not let them leave alive.

All the sea monsters were crushed into bloody paste. They dropped onto the ground, and mixed with the rest of the blood that belonged to the humans that they had killed before.

Henry on the other hand looked at everyone that was looking at him. He could see that there was both hope, resentment, helplessness and many other emotions in the eyes of the people that were looking at him.

He understood that among all those people that had been killed, it was definitely impossible that there was no family member that belonged to this group, that was out of the invisible barrier.

Henry did not know what to say for a moment. He remained silent for about 5 minutes, before he finally spoke up.

"I do understand that all of you possess resentment towards the sea race. But even then, you don’t have to worry much about it. A time is coming that we will go into the sea, and slaughter all those that are involved with the death of our fellow humans."

The moment that he said those words, the aura of confidence was released by Henry, and each and every person that was listening to him believed in what he had said.

"We will kill them all!"

For a moment, every survivor of the territory chanted loudly. The resentment in their voice and the hunger for revenge could be felt clearly.

Henry did not say anything else, and immediately called over Jasmine and the rest of the survivors of the core members of the territory.

Some people that belonged to the core area had been killed, considering that the moment that the sea monsters attacked, they also went ahead to intercept them, and deal with them. But in the end, they did not expect that the power of the sea monsters that had arrived was extremely high.

In the end, many members of the core area of the territory ended up dead without even a body to bury.

After everybody had congregated inside the conference room that was located in the main territory building of this territory, Henry went ahead and informed them about the arrangements that were supposed to be made.

They had to make arrangements in order to clean up the territory, before planning the next step. And according to Henry, in at most 1 week, he would be taking the majority of the core members of the territory to go and increase their strength. That way, they would be able to take revenge with their own hands.
