Isabella stood there surrounded by magical fabrics, glowing ribbons, and dreamlike material strands, staring at everything like she had just been reborn into her true purpose. Her hands twitched with excitement. Her eyes shimmered. Her pulse danced.

She inhaled deeply.

"Bubu," she whispered, still trembling, "hand me a scissors."

Silence.

Then Bubu's voice popped into her mind with the driest, sassiest tone ever.

"You do not have a scissors. Unless you want to purchase one."

Isabella blinked aggressively. "Since when do I not have a scissors."

"Since always. You never owned one."

"That is a personal attack."

"It is a fact."

She stomped her foot lightly, glaring at nothing. "Fine. Then purchase one. And inform me before you do."

Bubu stayed silent.

Isabella narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "Why are you quiet."

"You do not have enough points to buy the scissors you want."

Isabella's mouth fell open. "What do you mean the scissors I want. What type of scissors do I want."

"You want the premium one."

"How do you know that."

"I know your heart."

Isabella pouted violently. "Shut up."

Glimora tilted her head, confused why her mama was always arguing with the system, then cuddled against her leg.

Osiris stood nearby, watching her with a face full of confusion and suffering. "Are you talking to yourself again."

She ignored him.

Of course she ignored him.

Instead, she opened her space inventory dramatically. "Fine. I will find another way."

She rummaged through her space and pulled out a small shimmering box. Osiris leaned in curiously. "What is that."

She ignored him again.

Inside the box were small glowing orbs. Soft, pulsing, and warm. They looked like magical pearls, except these were created by Glimora whenever she felt like blessing the world with her chaos (or poop).

These were the Wishing Orbs.

Isabella had not used them yet.

Mostly because she was scared.

Partly because she forgot.

But now she held them in her hand, eyes gleaming like a woman who had just remembered that she owned cheat codes.

"Finally," she whispered with dangerous joy.

The rules for the wish orbs appeared in her memory clearly.

Non living objects only.

Books and knowledge allowed.

Basic machines allowed.

Temporary magical items allowed.

But they must be things she had seen, touched, or fully understood.

If the object was unfamiliar, unpredictable consequences would occur.

She held the orb up to her face, thinking deeply.

"I can just create it." She whispered to herself.

Bubu's voice slammed into her head instantly. "Do not even think about it."

She froze. "What do you mean do not think about it."

"You know exactly what I mean."

She pouted. "Bubu please. This is literally the perfect moment. I finally found materials. I need something to help me use them."

"You cannot create something you have never seen before," Bubu replied.

"I have seen a lot of things," Isabella argued proudly.

"Then describe what you are trying to create."

Isabella opened her mouth.

Paused.

Closed it again.

Because she actually did not know what the device should look like.

She had an idea in her head.

She had the dream of a tool that could help her shape or use these materials.

But she had not seen it.

Had not touched it.

Had not studied it.

She just wanted it.

She groaned. "Bubu this is unfair. They never said I cannot imagine it."

"You cannot create what you only imagine," Bubu said calmly. "You must have seen it, touched it, or fully understood it first."

Isabella stomped her foot. "But imagination is the beginning of everything."

"Not for Wish Orbs. Follow the rules."

She clutched the orb tighter, glaring at nothing like a spoiled princess denied candy. "This is so unfair. I just want something useful."

"Then find another solution," Bubu said.

Isabella fumed internally.

Osiris watched her argue with her system again and sighed. "She is talking to ghosts."

She slapped his arm without even looking. "Shut up.

Bubu said smugly, "if you want you can proceed to generate it then."

Isabella glared mentally. "No."

"Why not."

"Because if I do, something will come out twisted and evil."

"Correct."

"Bubu this is not funny."

"It is a little funny."

Isabella threw her hands up. "Then what am I supposed to do."

Osiris stepped closer, whispering to himself, "She is arguing with her demon again."

She slapped him on the forehead without looking. "Shut up."

He hissed. "Ow."

She refocused on Bubu with the seriousness of a woman fighting for her fashion destiny. "Please. I just need a device that can duplicate any material endlessly. Anything I put in it, it copies it forever."

Bubu responded instantly. "Have you ever seen a device like that."

Isabella inhaled slowly. "Not in real life."

"Have you ever touched it."

"No."

"Do you fully understand the mechanics of creating such a thing."

"Absolutely not."

"Then you cannot make it."

She stomped her foot again. "Everything starts from somewhere. Please. Just once."

"You cannot."

"I will pay you."

"I do not do bribery."

"You can be corrupted."

"I cannot."

She gritted her teeth. "Yes you can. Everyone has a weak point."

Bubu stayed silent.

Then Isabella grinned slowly.

She knew the system's weakness.

Pain.

Suffering.

Difficulty.

Cultivation tasks.

The system loved watching her struggle.

Fine.

She would weaponize it.

She smirked. "If you do help me, I will level up my cultivation."

Silence.

A dangerous silence.

Isabella continued confidently. "Yes. A cultivation task. I will improve my strength. Immediately if possible."

Bubu's voice wavered.

Barely.

But Isabella heard it.

The system was tempted.

Very tempted.

She pushed further. "I will do whatever task you want. I will climb mountains. I will fight beasts. I will drink poison. I will meditate for thirty days. I will break my back training. Anything. Just give me something that duplicates fabric forever."

The system hesitated.

Then said, "No."

Isabella gasped. "No. Why not."

"You cannot have that device."

"Bubu."

"No."

She gritted her teeth. "I am offering you suffering. Pain. Difficulty."

"I am not taking the deal."

"What if I take two cultivation tasks."

Osiris stared at her. "Why are you offering torture to the air."

She punched him again. "Shut up."

He groaned. "Ow."

Isabella focused inward. "Two cultivation tasks. You can give me two. Back to back. Brutal ones. The type you enjoy."

Silence.

Then longer silence.

Then suspicious silence.

Even Glimora could sense the tension and stopped chewing her glowing thread.

Finally, after almost a full minute, Bubu exhaled in her mind.

"Fine."

Isabella screamed with delight.

She actually jumped. She bounced on the soft cotton-like ground like someone who had been given a million dollars.

"Yes. Yes. Yes."

Osiris watched her, confused. "What is happening."

She ignored him completely.

Her whole body buzzed with excitement. She hugged Glimora. She hugged the nearest glowing vine. She hugged herself. She was ready to pass out from joy.

Bubu sighed. "Stand by. Generating blueprint for new device."

Isabella clasped her hands together, eyes sparkling like stars. "Yes. Finally."

"Please wait," Bubu said.

And Isabella stood there. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

Heart racing.

Hands trembling.

Waiting for what her system was about to create.
