The Superstar's Contracted Wife Has A System-Chapter 762 Wedding Anniversary (4)
The family of four’s group portrait began with everyone dressed in all-white formal wear; Qin Jiran and Little Meatball were clad in matching white suits, while Su Yanyi and Little Glutinous Rice Ball donned matching white princess dresses. When the family of four stood together after changing, it truly captured a dreamy, fairytale essence of princes and princesses.
"This dress really makes me want to roll my eyes," Su Yanyi muttered. From what she recalled, she had only worn this kind of lace-adorned white princess dress when she was very young, of course, excluding wedding dresses.
"You look beautiful, like a princess," Qin Jiran said as he gazed at Su Yanyi with unfathomable tenderness. It was his first time seeing Su Yanyi like this—graceful, majestic, with a touch of purity and her unchanging, crisp coldness that maintained a sense of distance.
"I am the Queen; she is the princess," Su Yanyi retorted with her signature tilt of her head, her delicate fingers pointing towards Little Glutinous Rice Ball, who stood there looking bewildered and comical, as if utterly clueless. She looked left and right, then grabbed her little dress, though it was unclear whether it was due to discomfort or disdain.
Little Meatball, on the other hand, quietly played his part as Little Prince, his smile beaming radiantly.
"Ahem, are the clothes fitting well? I’ll apply some light makeup for you first," Liu Liu appeared out of nowhere with a makeup box, and proceeded to do the makeup for Su Yanyi and Qin Jiran in turn, but merely added a simple embellishment without any heavy makeup. After the makeup session, it looked almost as if they hadn’t worn any at all, truly embodying the saying: The most skillful makeup technique is making it look like there’s no makeup at all.
Of course, even without makeup, both of them looked stunning.
The photo shoot started, and the family of four changed poses to match the photographer’s requests. None of the poses were overly dramatic, yet the atmosphere was incredibly warm.
Following the formal attire, Di An presented the second set of clothes, which were traditional Chinese garments. Su Yanyi’s disdain was even more apparent, and she asked without hesitation, "This wasn’t my mother’s suggestion, was it?" She always felt that only her mom would design something like this for her!
"Hehe, President Su, you are truly perceptive; this is indeed Mrs. Qin’s arrangement," Di An admitted with a laugh. These designs were really based on the lady’s suggestions. Mrs. Qin had said that cosplay was trendy now, so she thought it would be fun to have President Su’s family dress up together for once, and as it turned out, it was indeed very amusing. They were all looking forward to it.
Di An led the family, now dressed in the costumes, through the hallway to the back courtyard of the small photo studio. The courtyard, with its ancient charm, resembled a movie set, and at that moment, the staff started to enhance the ambiance by spraying mist, creating an ethereal and atmospheric scene.
Su Yanyi’s eye twitched, and she looked at Di An, feeling speechless. Was this really just for taking photos? Why did she feel like they were shooting a movie?
However, regardless of their thoughts, both Su Yanyi and Qin Jiran cooperated well. Su Yanyi was in an ancient gauze dress that flowed like a fairy standing in an old pavilion while Qin Jiran underwent a drastic costume change, now in a black, luxurious robe. It was described as lavish due to the golden fringes and a golden dragon, soaring through the clouds, embroidered on it, which complemented the glimpses of pink phoenix on Su Yanyi’s dress.
The two little ones wore matching miniature traditional costumes, standing wobbly with puzzled expressions, instantly melting the hearts of everyone at the scene.
The adults were breathtakingly beautiful, and the kids adorably clueless. The image of this family of four together was so delightful it was beyond words.
The photographer did not insist on specific poses for the family; instead, they freely improvised. In these moments, many beautiful snapshots were captured, especially one scene where Su Yanyi looked into the distance with a distant gaze, a tad wistful. Qin Jiran stood behind her, gently wrapping his arms around her waist, tenderly gazing at her profile. The two little ones stood cluelessly on either side, their small hands tugging at Su Yanyi’s gauze dress, looking up slightly at the couple. While there was no verbal exchange, the scene conveyed a profound sense of harmony.
