The Tender Beauty is Sweetly Doted in the 20th Century Novel!-Chapter 163 - 162: Looks Like She’s Mine Now
Jiang Yuan’s worst fear had come true; she struggled as if her life depended on it. Fengmian couldn’t hold her down and ended up getting scratched in several places.
In a flash of anger, Fengmian casually picked up a rock from the ground and hit her on the back of the head with it.
Jiang Yuan felt a sudden sharp pain in her head. Instinctively, she wanted to cover the painful area, but before her hands could reach up, she lost consciousness.
Fengmian feared he might have killed her, so he leaned in to check if she was still breathing.
Once he confirmed that she was not dead but merely unconscious, he felt relieved enough to hoist her onto his back and carry her to a more secluded spot.
The town was better than the countryside, but not by much; it couldn’t match the rapid development of the city, leaving many old, dilapidated houses on the outskirts of the town.
Having grown up in this town, Fengmian naturally knew where the unwanted abandoned houses were. Though dirty and rundown, they were perfect for his current scheme.
He dumped Jiang Yuan on the ground, rummaged around, found a dark, dusty chair, and a dirty rope. He quickly tied the unconscious Jiang Yuan to the chair.
The night was late, but the moon was bright, and everything happening in the roofless, ruined house was clearly visible.
Fengmian had originally thought of taking advantage of Jiang Yuan’s body to disgust Liu Jitong, but as he mulled over it, he felt that it wasn’t satisfying enough. He needed to confront him personally.
So he left Jiang Yuan tied up in that broken-down house, ran back home, wrote a note, and secretly placed it at Liu Jitong’s doorstep.
Liu Jitong had already returned home, and the lights inside were still on. Afraid of being seen, Fengmian wedged the note in the door crack, then ran a short distance away and threw a few stones at the Liu family’s front door.
Liu Jitong heard the noise and thought someone was knocking. But when he opened the door, he saw nothing; instead, a piece of paper fell, catching his attention.
Hidden afar, Fengmian confirmed that Liu Jitong picked up the note and, excited, quickly ran off.
He ran with excitement all the way back to the dim, broken-down house. By the time he got there, Jiang Yuan seemed to have been awake for a while, struggling frantically.
When she saw him appear, she panicked even more, screaming desperately, but Fengmian was unfazed. He approached her slowly and deliberately.
Under the moonlight, his expression was terrifying.
He was clearly smiling, but half of his face was shrouded in shadow, his eyes filled with madness and resentment. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
Jiang Yuan trembled in fear, her teeth chattering.
"Wh-what do you want? Kidnapping, ransom?"
Like a pervert, Fengmian reached out and caressed her cheek, marveling at the smoothness and delicacy of a young girl’s skin, but said nothing.
Feeling disgusted and terrified, Jiang Yuan kept turning her head away to avoid his touch.
"My family has money, if it’s money you want, I can give it to you, please, just let me go..."
Her voice was tinged with sobs, but Fengmian felt no pity, instead growing even more excited.
He looked down at the girl before him, her face full of humiliation, turned away and unable to look at him. Seeing her pretty face made him think about how Liu Jitong had built a successful career and could still have a young bride like this. Fengmian’s anger and resentment were about to explode.
"Do you not understand why I captured you? Hmm?"
Fengmian maliciously lifted her chin, forcing Jiang Yuan to look at him.
Jiang Yuan, trembling with fear, obediently muttered a yes.
Fengmian stroked her cheek again, "Tsk tsk."
"Blame Liu Jitong, he just had to go against me, didn’t he?"
He bent down, staring at Jiang Yuan, his hand suddenly sliding downward, and unbuttoned the first button of her collar.
Jiang Yuan’s face turned white with fear, she begged him to stop, but Fengmian continued as he undid the second button, talking as he went.
"You’re dating him, aren’t you? Then he should come to rescue you. I left him a note. I’ve already told him, if he doesn’t come or can’t find this place within an hour, you’ll be mine today."
"What do you think, will he come?"
Fengmian’s movements were slow, as if intentionally testing her mental limits.
He watched her increasingly terrified expression with satisfaction, laughing uncontrollably with excitement.
"What do you think, if he comes and sees that you belong to me, will he break down? Will he want to kill me?"
Suddenly, a third button came undone, and Jiang Yuan’s eyes grew wide, nearly broken, teary-faced.
"Please, let me go, I just like him, but he doesn’t like me at all! I was rejected by him just today, he won’t come, please..."
"He won’t come, sob sob, please..."
Jiang Yuan’s pleas were futile, and they only made Fengmian even more excited.
His eyes lit up, his smile growing lasciviously wide.
"So, you’ve never slept with him? Still a virgin?"
"Then I’m really lucky, aren’t I? Hahahaha."
Fengmian stroked her face again, and Jiang Yuan, in humiliation, turned her head away, angering him. Fengmian immediately raised his hand and slapped her.
The loud slap was audible from afar, but no one came.
Jiang Yuan was nearly in despair. Her hair was yanked, forcing her to raise her head, hope and light drained from her eyes.
Fengmian didn’t like her response much, and he seemed anxious, frequently looking around to see if anyone was coming.
"Well, you can’t blame me, you’re just not charming enough, he doesn’t like you, so now you’ll have to settle for me."
"I saw with my own eyes he picked up the note and read it, and yet, for so long, he hasn’t come. It seems he truly doesn’t care about your life or death. I thought you two had already gotten together, made me all happy for nothing."
Fengmian undid all the buttons on her coat. Inside, she still wore a thermal shirt, and Fengmian, unhurried, spread her coat open to the sides.
Because the rope was tightly bound and the coat was thick, it took Fengmian some effort to pull the coat out from under it. During this time, Jiang Yuan had already slipped into total despair, ceasing to plead.
She kept her eyes on the outside, watching as no one came, and felt her heart die.
Finally, Fengmian tore the coat out from under the rope.
Fearing she would struggle free, Fengmian tightened the rope again. Once he secured it, he took another look outside.
"Still hasn’t come. He really doesn’t care if you live or die. What do you see in him? An unrefined, sharp-tongued old man, so cold and heartless. You must be blind."
Fengmian dusted off his clothes, looked down at the mute and despair-stricken Jiang Yuan in the moonlight, raising an eyebrow in admiration.
"Wow, I didn’t expect you to have such a fine figure. If he doesn’t come, you’ll just have to settle for me. Blame Liu Jitong for not rescuing you."
"I’ve given him the note, and if he were a real man, even if he doesn’t fancy you, he should at least inform your brother, right? Yet, your brother’s not here either. Must’ve been deliberate. Not only not coming to save you, but also not telling your brother."
Fengmian grasped Jiang Yuan’s chin, grinning as he leaned down, ready to savor the taste of the young girl, when suddenly, a voice of rage came from outside.
"Fengmian! Let her go!"
