The Trending Topic Herself: The Villainess is the Superstar!-Chapter 25: Sweet Little Darling
Kiki has thought countless times about squeezing into upper-class society.
Although she has accumulated some connections in the circles, she has ultimately been unable to reach the top echelon, but now Quentin has given her a stepping stone.
If the Rowe Family’s grandmother could show her favor, it would be the best outcome, since Maya often mocks her after marrying into the Rowe Family.
And she... must seize the opportunity with the Rowe Family’s grand dame...
She was brought back to Kyston from the countryside by the Monroe family, and those around her always said how lucky she was. What she always thought about was if the Monroe Family hadn’t lost her initially, would she have always enjoyed the best treatment? And wouldn’t have some people ridiculed her as a pheasant turned phoenix?

Choosing a gift for the Rowe Family’s grandmother really troubled Maya.
Maya remembered what Leo said yesterday.
She decided to follow the original plot.
The original character, upon hearing someone’s advice, directly picked out a bracelet from a well-known underground market stall and spent a fortune after being tricked.
Back then, she didn’t know the value, and on the day of the birthday banquet, she happily presented the bracelet to the Rowe Family’s grandmother, only for Kiki to point out on the spot that it was made of glass and not worth anything.
They later had it verified, and it turned out as Kiki said.
Since that banquet, Kiki gained the favor of the Rowe Family’s grandmother, while Maya was looked down upon by the entire family for her lack of insight, unable to hold her head up high.
Maya snapped back from her thoughts.
Actually, Kiki isn’t as kind and harmless as the book repeatedly emphasized, right?
But whatever.
No matter how ridiculous the plot develops, as long as readers enjoy it.
Maya went alone to the underground market wearing a mask and cap, without letting the driver or anyone else follow. If someone tried to stop her from buying, it would’ve led to an argument.
Maya wiped the sweat off her forehead, cursing in her mind; she’s been shopping around here several times but couldn’t find the stall described in the book!
She wandered around for a long time, and many people came up to ask if she was Maya.
Maya wasn’t a name with good reputation, even if it was, she couldn’t possibly admit that was her, as she was busy.
This was yet another person approaching, so Maya lowered her hat and replied gruffly: "No."
But that person seemed determined, grabbing her arm, "With such a bad attitude, who else could you be but Maya? You must be Maya!"
The certainty in their voice made Maya somewhat amused.
The person raised their mobile phone to take a picture of her.
Maya ended up slipping away; although she wasn’t afraid of these negative hot searches, she had urgent matters at hand and no time to deal with these people.
With sweat pouring, Maya’s patience had long been exhausted from running.
Blame that stupid author for not specifying the exact directions of the stall in the plot, a fatal omission!
Time was getting late, and the people waiting for her outside were probably growing anxious.
Maya finally abandoned the idea of buying the same item as the original character. After all, it’s the same region, and the effect should be similar, certainly embarrassing!
Maya headed to the nearest small stall, which was much quieter compared to the others.
The stall owner looked like a man in his thirties or forties, wearing a dusty vest. Even though it was nearly autumn, he was fanning himself with a broken straw fan.
Maya found it curious but maintained a composed complexion.
"How much are these?"
The stall owner seemed surprised to have a customer at his rundown stall, but he only opened his eyes narrowly, continuing to fan himself.
"Fixed price, twelve. These are all twelve."
Maya carefully looked over the items at the stall: "Twelve thousand?"
In the previous world isolated from society, Maya continued with the original character’s extravagant spending habits after arriving, lacking a clear sense of money.
In essence, it was just a string of numbers, with more or fewer zeros.
The stall owner’s eyes widened: "What twelve thousand, it’s twelve bucks, twelve yuan! I’m not a swindling black merchant!"
The original character spent a fortune on fakes made of glass, so there’s no way the bracelet she buys for this little will be real?
Maya thought it was impossible, obviously impossible, how could something so cheap be any good.
Maya nodded: "Don’t get angry, boss, I’m just joking!"
Maya eventually chose the least conspicuous bracelet, which seemed to be old, with jewels as dusty as the stall owner’s vest.
Maybe it couldn’t be called jewels, as Maya was sure they were either plastic or glass.
"What’s the history of this bracelet?"
The stall owner gave Maya a puzzled look.
Even Maya felt her own question was odd, the bracelet was probably mass-produced, what history could it have.
Maya paid quickly, and the stall owner took the money just as fast.
After putting the money away in his waist pouch, the stall owner’s eyes closed again.
Maya held the packaged bracelet, feeling that this trip wasn’t in vain after all.

Maya was picked up and brought back to the villa by Ian Rowe the day before the birthday banquet.
Ian said he wanted to take her to buy some dresses and such. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Ever since that inexplicable text message, Ian’s attitude toward Maya seemed to have softened.
Maya didn’t initially want to go shopping with Ian Rowe, thinking she had enough clothes and didn’t need to buy more.
Later, she remembered the original character’s elaborate dresses were all cleared out by her, leaving mostly casual clothes and shirts in the wardrobe.
She certainly couldn’t wear those to the banquet.
Just looking up, she saw Ian had already packed everything and was buttoning the last button on his cuff.
"I’ll wait for you in the car."
Vincent Summers followed behind him, trotting out, and didn’t forget to shout back at her: "You’re spacing out again, Maya! Don’t you know what time it is? Going out shopping with women is a trou..."
He realized then that Maya had been sharp-tongued lately, and he had gone and provoked her again.
After getting in the car, Maya sat next to Ian Rowe.
Ian Rowe was busy with his tablet, not sparing her a glance.
Vincent drove steadily up front, without much movement.
Maya silently watched Ian Rowe for a few seconds and pitifully said, "Honey, why are you ignoring me? Just a few days ago you called me sweetheart, and now you’ve forgotten everything, is a man’s heart truly..."
Ian Rowe suddenly lifted his head.
