The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 601 - 613 Five Days and Five Nights (2)
Windsor Myres guessed what was on her mind but didn’t point it out. She changed the subject and said, "Have you seen Louis Cox before?"
"Huh?"
"Why is Maeve with you?" Windsor asked.
"Um, Louis asked me to take care of her for a few days," Mia Ginger nodded.
"This girl is really fortunate," Windsor remarked sincerely.
"Why?"
"Just speaking from experience," Windsor adjusted her position, leaning casually, and said, "She is Cesar Myres’ daughter in his old age. From birth, she was held and raised by Cesar. Haven’t you noticed, that girl doesn’t like walking very much and often climbs on people."
"That’s true," Mia thought carefully and couldn’t help but laugh, "She’s been spoiled, I suppose."
"Exactly. I still remember when she just learned to walk, Cesar was overjoyed and liked to lift her high up. It was summer, and she was wearing split pants. She couldn’t hold it in anymore, and suddenly peed all over Cesar’s face. It really was all over, in his hair, mouth, neck, everything. It wasn’t just the others; even Ivy Cox was scared. But then, when everyone was frozen in shock, the little girl seemed to realize she was in trouble and started crying loudly. Cesar came back to his senses and hurried to comfort her without wiping his face. That was the first time I thought, it turns out a real father should be like this. That’s also when my mom, after hearing about this incident, started considering leaving the Myres Family, but couldn’t let go of the good life and plus Ivy never made things difficult for them. Hesitant, it dragged on until today."
"Then you guys..."
"Will probably leave the Myres Mansion," Windsor shrugged with a smile, looking at the rain curtain, standing upright, and said, "I don’t have much to miss anyway. I’m not worried about my mom; she’s saved quite a lot for herself over the years and has a few chain restaurants outside. She can live comfortably till old age, no problem."
"That’s good," Mia breathed a sigh of relief.

The two talked outside for a while.
Inside, the memorial service was coming to an end. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
The body was taken for cremation, and most guests had gone to the side hall to rest and wait.
Mia and Windsor separated, and she went to find Koa Jackson. From afar, she saw him standing and talking with Louis Cox, and couldn’t help but be startled. She thought the scene of these two talking calmly felt a bit strange.
Yet she couldn’t figure out what was odd, so she chose not to think about it, stepped forward, looked at Louis, and said, "I’m glad you’re okay."
"I told you I would be fine." Louis’ lips tugged into a smile, though slightly stiff, and he glanced at Ari Murphy and the others behind him, and said concisely, "I’m taking Maeve back. Later, I’ll return to the Myres Family with her. Thank you for taking care of her these days."
"Thank you, Sister Mia, for taking care of my sister," Odin Myres standing beside them said earnestly.
"Odin, Sister Mia’s house has a huge, huge dog!" Maeve didn’t wait for Mia to respond. She leaned out of Caiden Ward’s arms, drawing a big circle with her hands in the air, and exclaimed exaggeratedly.
Odin looked at her carefree face, his light lips gently pursing, showing a smile, and gently asked, "So Maeve doesn’t want to go home with brother?"
"Hmm!" Maeve puffed her cheeks, glanced at Koa Jackson, and said grumpily, "Doctor Uncle said Miss Cox and the others went to heaven to listen to the angels’ singing and won’t come back anymore, so it’ll be just you at home, and you have to go to school..."
What she meant was, she really didn’t want to go back.
Odin looked at her, slightly moved, raised his eyes to glance at Koa Jackson, "Thank you."
