The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 609 -s 622-623
I never liked the Myres Family.
Perhaps it was due to being influenced over time, as he found it hard to have a favorable impression of the Jacksons.
Thinking this way, he suddenly recalled seeing Koa Jackson earlier today, and he felt... not bad actually.
Anyone who’s good to his sister must be good.
He was grateful to Koa Jackson and liked Mia Ginger, yet he hadn’t realized that his connections with this pair of siblings had only just begun.
Odin Myres kept pondering this as he walked alongside Louis.
Ari Murphy glanced back at Marianne Jackson who was still standing where she was, and said thoughtfully, "Louis, actually what that girl said earlier was somewhat reasonable. Old Master Jackson’s influence shouldn’t be underestimated, although he never liked the Myres Family, who can predict what the future holds? They might be enemies today, but tomorrow they might be friends. As you’re dating his granddaughter, if you meet him, perhaps he’ll like you?"
After hearing him out, Louis responded quietly, "My refusal isn’t because of the Jackson Family, nor does it concern Old Master Jackson."
"Then you..."
Ari was stunned for a moment, then suddenly understood, "Because of Mia Ginger?"
"Yes."
"That has no bearing." Ari said.
"As far as I’m concerned, it does." Louis smiled, "I can marry any woman, but not Marianne Jackson. Things are as they are, I’ve accepted Mia Ginger. But even though things are as they are, I can only stay away from her, not get close to her. For all other matters, I can do them for Ivy Cox, but..."
His voice paused, "For this one thing, I can’t let my obsession with revenge rule me and torment my heart like this. Seeing Marianne Jackson, I will think of Mia Ginger, and that feeling... I suppose no one understands."
"In this respect, you’re a bit like your brother-in-law." Ari suddenly remarked.
Louis looked at him in surprise.
Ari chuckled, "A love fool, I guess."
"Ha." Louis pressed his lips and said nothing more.
Ari didn’t mind and shook his head, quickly catching up.
——
It was past three in the afternoon.
Koa Jackson, Mia Ginger, and others returned to Cloudy Capital.
Cooper Manor.
The car stopped at the entrance, and they walked in together.
Before reaching the hall, Chancellor darted out and leaped into Mia Ginger’s arms.
Mia Ginger almost got knocked over, stepping back a couple of steps before holding it in her arms, she laughed heartily, "You’re so enthusiastic now, I’m not used to it."
"Woof woof!"
Chancellor barked twice, extending its tongue to lick her neck.
Mia Ginger giggled from the tickle.
Beside her, Koa Jackson watched quietly, then turned his gaze and said to Bob Ginger, "Let’s go inside."
"Alright." Bob Ginger nodded.
Mia Ginger raised her hand to rub Chancellor’s head twice, making it happy, then followed everyone inside.
In the hall.
Aurora Cooper and Margot were curled up on the sofa watching television.
Margot, lively and active, heard Chancellor’s bark and looked over in response.
First, she saw Koa Jackson, and right after, caught sight of Bob Ginger and Nanny Adams accompanying him, quickly getting up and saying, "They’re here."
"They’ve arrived." Aurora promptly stood up and walked over, smiling, "Been waiting for you guys, you finally made it."
Koa Jackson smiled and said, "We had a meal together on the way."
Bob Ginger also smiled and greeted, "Aunt Cooper."
"Yeah." Aurora tapped his arm twice with her hand, "Not long since we last met, yet you’ve grown taller again. Your room’s ready, just next to your sister’s. Have Margot take you to put your things away."
