When Hawk drove over, he saw Crystal Landon sitting cross-legged on the table in the living room writing an English test paper.

The man parked the modified Aston Martin in front of the Landon family villa, got out of the car with a large bag full of snacks, along with milk and mineral water, and called out, "Crystal, come and get the food."

Crystal was doing reading comprehension. This one was too difficult, she had read it twice and still didn’t understand what it was saying. Hearing this, she gave a slight response, ran out, saw the big bag of snacks at Caspian Howard’s feet, and instantly pounced on it happily, hugging the snacks, and laughed, "Caspian, you’re simply my angel, my provider."

Caspian carried the milk and water inside, saying calmly, "Eat first."

Seeing all the food she had ordered, along with many extras, Crystal immediately hugged a fried chicken and began to eat. While eating, she said, "Caspian, you’re definitely my friend now. In the future, if anyone bullies you, let me know, I’ll help you fight them."

Hawk flicked her forehead with a finger, and with a handsome, scholarly face, sneered, "Relying on you to fight, I’d better just call the police."

Crystal pouted, let out a cold snort, and focused intently on eating.

Hawk glanced around the Landon family villa and asked, "Why is there no one at your house?"

"I don’t know, when I finished my test paper and came out, there was no one here. My brother might have gone on a business trip." Crystal said indifferently, her pretty little face full of satisfaction from the food. She guessed that her parents and Pearl went out to eat in anger because she didn’t obey them and didn’t hand Richard Shaw over, deliberately not calling her.

This sort of thing wasn’t unheard of.

Hawk’s gaze deepened. He had known that she wasn’t doing well in the Landon family. Otherwise, why would a young heiress go racing in Clear Creek Bay? "Sit over there. Your mouth is greasy from the food." Caspian Howard huffed without mercy.

A black Hummer quietly parked in front of the villa. The man inside looked through the open door, observing their closely positioned heads. He glanced down at the fruits and food he had brought, curling his lips mockingly. The old lady was worried that the little girl would go hungry, insisting he deliver food to give them a chance to interact, but clearly, this girl didn’t need it.

Richard Shaw sat in the car, lit a cigarette, and watched the unconcerned pair blow smoke. After finishing the cigarette, he started the car and drove back to the Shaw Mansion.
