"This-" Jack was lost for words staring at the floating screen before him.

When he’d first seen the system notification stating he reached lv 30 for evolution. He felt it was possible considering his rapid growth.

But encountering the ogre with the blue axe changed his perspective.

Having killed a lot of mythical creatures he felt unstoppable. Until his encounter at the ogre settlement. Reaching a life and death scenario with the loss of many under his command.

And even the seductive fox lady, which was miraculously brought back by the omnious horse.

’Now this is better.’ He slightly chuckled getting accustomed to the new system interface. Not only was it efficient in navigation, but also maintained the same features as before.

"My class has changed." He could see the addition of the word ’ghoul’. Besides his undead class, just like the system stated he’d truly evolved. Now an E rank undead ghoul.

But that wasn’t all that caught his attention, no! Scrolling down, he could see his level was now at 30. With the emergence of the experience point tab, which was never present during his reincarnation.

’it did mention i fufilled some hidden requirements.’ it wasn’t a surprise, he was attaining new heights this fast. Thanks to a particular god, that had keen eyes on him.

So there were bound to be changes as he’d evolved into a ghoul. But this was just a little too overwhelming, even for him.

’This is insane.’ Jack held the urge not to grin, but couldn’t. Seeing his stats over a hundred made the smile on his face broaden.

"Psyco!" Casper yelled in alarm, catching the creepy grin spread across Jack’s face.

Ignoring the lazy feline, he noticed a deduction in his dominion points. Which was considerable, considering he lost a hreat number of undeads.

’No need to dwell in the past.’ Shaking his head, he was pleased his chaos energy and hp had increased. Along with 20 free stat points at his disposal.

Checking his titles section, a frown formed on his face seeing the walker of workds title still locked.

"Dammit!" Jack cursed unable to curb his rage. With his evolution, he’d thought the locked icon would be dispelled. But unfortunately he was terribly wrong.

Keeping that at the back of his mind he decided to question casper later.

"They’re two new skills." Navigating down, his eyes quickly befell on the first new passive skill he’d unlocked.

Tapping the small ’i’ icon besides it, a screen popped up.

’A tracking skill.’ The description was simple, like a telepathy skill. But more specific, targeted to a marked individual.

It came a bit as a surprise to him, judging he had quite a high perception to his environment. But it was no doubt useful covering a wide range.

He also saw he’d unlocked the 1st stage, of his skill overlap. Which was accelarate, increasing his movement in speed for a duration of 3 minutes.

(Costs 50 chaos energy for activation, and a deduction of 25 chaos energy per 2 mins for retention.)

’It requires more chaos energy than eyes of truth.’

The skill was no doubt effective, how jin utilized it. But the latter was a fox, a speed type creature. Perfectly adapting with the skill effects.

’it better be worth it.’ Jack crossed his fingers. There was no change in eyes of truth description, leaving a skill.

[Hollow gaze: User is able to feed off the fears of affected individuals with his hollow gaze. Trapping them in a nightmare realm.

’Dangerous.’ Jack shuddered a bit, reading the skill description. The name alone was scary, but the description was way worst.

Done with his profile tab, there were still the two items he received from the system.

Taking a peek at casper, the black chubby cat lazily rested on karrie’s head. Uninterested with whatever he was caught up in, relieving him a bit.

Staring at the purple bracelet, there were no distinct features or engravings. Seemingly plain, than the few items jack received.

Equipping it, he didn’t feel anything as expected. Moving on to the next item gifted by the system.

[Planet evolution orb(E rank): A football sized orb, used for evolving a planet into it’s first stage.]

Staring at the big orb laying dormant in his hand, he was bewildered to say the least.

’How is this even possible?’ He questioned, gazing at the orb with wide eyes. It was blue in colour, emitting a faint blue air around it.

He could sense the energy in it, was similar to mana. But more denser, than the mana stones at the goblin settlement.

[It’s not a shocker you were rewarded with this. Yes, it’s a rare item type with definate hidden potentials. But not all entirely great and powerful.] Aethone butted in.

’What happened to you? I almost thought your program was deleted.’ Jack worriedly spoke, not hearing her voice for a while now.

He then returned the orb to the system store. Careful not to alert the sleeping cat.

[My program was getting adjusted to the changes in the system.] Aethone calmly said in a monotone voice.

’What do you mean not great and powerful? If this is truly a planet evolution orb, then doesn’t that mean it should be an SSS tier item!?’

At first he’d thought there was a glitch in the system ranking the orb. But with aethone’s word, he was definitely perplexed.

[Think of it like this.. just how weapons are ranked, based on their characteristics and potential. Same goes with items as well as planet evolution orbs.]

[Ranging from f rank, being the lowest. Having the potential to speed up a planet evolution state, not evolving it. To A rank, considered the highest planet evolution orb discovered. Capable of evolving a planet to it’s 5th stage.]

Hearing his system he was no doubt shocked at this information. Never had he read or came across orbs capable of evolving an entire planet.

It sounded like a myth from folklore legends to say the least. But now, it was becoming less absurd being in possession of one.

’if this thing is so valuable then how do i have one? Isn’t this meant to be like sacred treasures?’

[They are. Infact, there are only very few of these orbs across space. Very difficult to obtain without sacrificing something in return. As to how you’re in possession of one, I’m guessing hades has an involvement in this.]

’i had the same thought, but i didn’t think he’d actually gift me one.’ Knowing such little about gods, jack couldn’t fathom the thoughts running through hades mind.

Being the god of death and the underworld, destruction and havoc followed in his path. And they weren’t close or anything, a wide margin distinguishing them. But for some disturbing reason, something about the death god didn’t sit right.

[Hades is not just a god, but a core member of the big 3 orgigin gods. Namely Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. These three big shots are said to have started the creation of life and death itself. But judging by the latter’s personality, there must be something beneficial to him for helping you.] Aethone said to ehich jack nodded.

It wasn’t a hidden agenda hades would get something in return. But what? The thought baffled him, not having anything of value.

"If you’re done talking to yourself we have business to attend to." Casper purred, lightly stretching his legs.

’it can’t hear my thoughts?’ He’d guessed casper was aware of the system. But the annoyed look on his face said it all.

Being an unknown creature, jack knew well not to mess with this feline.

Though it appeared innocent and unsuspecting. There was more hidden in Casper’s lazy eyes.

[Like i said, hades is not my creator. Neither is this oversized cat, so while hades knows i exist. He isn’t exactly aware of my potential. While this furball is likely oblivious to my existence.]

"What do you mean by attending to business?" Jack asked seeing casper making his way towards him.

"Seriously? Planet in danger?" Casper sarcastically said, making jack bite his lips.

"Shit! Kelly." Jack cursed engrossed in his own thoughts.

"Humans ~" Casper rolled his two big emerald eyes.

"But how can i get back in time? I don’t exactly possess a teleportation skill." Jack honestly spoke seeing walker of worlds title still locked.

Darting a conceding glare, casper let out a small pout.

"How you managed to survive this long intrigues me." Lazily stretching his paw, a black hole appearec behind jack.

Sucking him in the next moment, with casper following suit.
