THE UNDISPUTED ONE-Chapter 242: The End?
Marrisa was visibly shaken but tried playing it off as cool as she could. She felt something was wrong somewhere until she decided to carefully inspect their supposed captives. ππ«ππ²ππππ§π πππ₯.πππ
"Uuuhh...guys...?" She attracted the attention of everyone in the room as they followed the exact direction she was pointing. Anna was about to shout at her face when she also realized something was equally not adding up.
"Took them that long Huh..." Mary laughed alongside her sisters as they saw how the other party was trying to figure out things.
"We were tricked! What the..." Marrissa couldnβt even form her sentences properly when she finally realized that they have been dealing with robots all along. She didnβt even wait to form another sentence and immediately rushed out of the building in a bid to save her sorry life.
The slow Anna finally caught up on what happening and boy oh boy was she mad! "JANE LU!!!" The others had to atleast cover their ears cause the screaming was just not it.
"Here cousin! How does it feel to know that you are really a certified fool beyond redemption?" Jane couldnβt pass off this opportunity to irritate her and had to speak up, a few giggles from the rest of the girls equally being heard.
"Pfft! So what? I can still have you and neither will I rest until I crash you myself, donβt be too joyful just because you won this round!" Anna being Anna couldnβt just give up easily and started fighting back thinking that she still had the upper hand. She turned around and hurriedly walked out of the building visibly looking afraid but trying to console herself.
Rita looked at the current situation and a deep frown appeared on her face as she seemed to be in deep thoughts only to scoff and equally leave. There was no need to stop plotting against Mary since the other party already knew of her deeds. In her view, May the strongest person win!
The Xis and the remaining people equally left the building since they had nothing else to say now that they lost this time round. Despite acting normal, deep down their hearts they knew that they had to fight constantly now that the other party is aware and just like Rita, their view of the strongest winning remained still.
"Tch! They left? Just like that?? What a waste!" Mary finally spoke up as they watched everyone leaving the building. She couldnβt help but feel irritated since she expected something good out of todayβs happenings.
"Relax sis! You donβt want your child coming out acting this bitter..Ow!" Jane couldnβt finish her statement as she got smacked by Mary for making fun of her. The rest of the girls giggled and made a little fun before their expressions turned serious as they decided to discuss todayβs events.
Throughout their discussions, they realized that they couldnβt be caught lacking in any way since both parties are openly aware of each otherβs events. For their family, their loved ones, they were going to fight till the very end.
When the other girls had left and only Mary and Jane were left behind, the girls looked at each other silently communicating and deciding to seek out the Kingβs third through a strategic manner. They decided to create some problems for this man, problems that were going to prevent him from having time for Annaβs matters.
On the other end, Anna was so mad that she had to pass by a bar for a drink since her mind was barely working. She didnβt even remember that she is one pregnant lady. It didnβt matter how fearless she acted, deep down she knew that if Jane finally decides to stop toying around with her and finally deal with her, even before she officially snaps her fingers sheβd be dead.
"Hello pretty, mind if I blow your mind tonight?" A heavy voice was heard beside Anna making her line of sight turn to the man who just spoke. The man was pretty enough and at some point according to her he looked like Liam. Anna felt a strange strong feeling blooming in her heart as her heart beat sped up, did she really want Liam? Was she in love?
Before her mind could comprehend things, her body already acted as she pulled the man over and smashed her lips forcefully on him without a care of the people around her. The man in question smirked and sneered at the same time since he indeed approached her with an aim. Throughout her life in the entertainment circle, Anna had offended many people some of whom were not really forgiving and the man currency is a brother to an innocent sweet girl who suffered under Annaβs actions.
He effortlessly picked her body up as he took her to some stalls making sure that wherever his designed camera man is, Annaβs face is clear to him. Anna, whose mind was long gone and muddled didnβt know that she had successfully fallen into another trap that didnβt even require Jane to set. The man made sure to play his part perfectly well but he didnβt know that his actions tonight would lead Anna to some serious miscarriage.
It was barely morning when a scandal involving an actress splashed the internet. If only Anna was awake, she would be able to counterattack the situation and save her reputation but miss girl was fast asleep only to be woken up by countless phone calls and texts. She casually picked up her phone and answered the current call that came in.
"ANNA LU! ARE YOU DONE DISGRACING OUR CHEN FAMILY??" Mother Chenβs voice could be heard on the other end immediately waking Anna up fully. Before she could answer back, the phone call was ended and she immediately logged into her social media account only for her eyes to bulge out as shock was written on her face.
She didnβt even think twice before leaving her hotel room and running to Chen enterprise.
Edward on the other hand was busy scrolling through Annaβs current scandal as he tried massaging his head due to the current pressure from his mother who wanted him to finally cut ties with Anna because she felt like their Chen family couldnβt take anymore of Annaβs matters.
While the mother and son were busy discussing, they were informed of a commotion in the lobby prompting them to immediately rush over. "Hmph! So shameless! Today I will teach this wretched girl a less.." Mother Chen didnβt finish her words when Annaβs broken voice resounded as She was surrounded by reporters.
"Mother, I was frame.." A resounding slap echoed in the lobby as the shuttering of different cameras was heard. Mother Chen was so mad that she forgot about her image and the fact that the media is around.
She did not wait for the slap to sink in and immediately sent a kick that happened to perfectly land on Annaβs stomach.
There was a defeaning silence as Annaβs expression suddenly turned paled. It took the whole audience a moment before someone shouted the word blood and everyone suddenly looked at the floor where Anna was standing only to realize a pool of blood forming. Mother Chen equally paled when she came back to her senses and realized what she had done. "My grandson...no, my.. my baby, I didnβt mean it...MY GRANDSON!!!"
