This question made Ghania’s breath hitch, nearly unable to respond. She composed herself, her eyes fixed on Nathalie, and defiantly said, "Of course, I know."
Nathalie scoffed. What did she know, indeed?
"So what’s your point in stopping me?"

Nathalie certainly gained new insight.
Simply saying S was a woman made her vain?
Ghania’s eyes flickered, her lashes lifted, as she said with certainty, "You don’t know S at all, and it’s impossible for you to have met her. You just said she is a woman, but what if she’s a man..."
Nathalie interrupted her, wickedly wild, "If she’s a man, I’ll get a sex change!"
Ghania was stunned by her audacity and couldn’t react for a moment, by which time Nathalie had already pushed past her and strode away.

Ghania was seething with inner fury, her delicate face flushed, her fingernails almost digging into her skin.
She was clearly just a commoner from Hillwood.
Yet just now, her tone was as if she knew S personally.
How could Nathalie possibly know someone like S? Ghania shouldn’t have been so easily intimidated, allowing her to walk away without much resistance.

Seeing that she was safe and sound, Jhovany’s tears fell again, dropping like beads.
