The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 138: Is the milk tea shop running a promotion today?_1
Nathalie Quinlan chuckled and lifted the boy into her arms, protecting him carefully, then she casually turned to the man who had just called out to her.
"What is it?"
Amadeus Yancey’s deep eyes showed a hint of surprise as he looked from her to Edric Yancey in her arms, who was the picture of calm, without a trace of insecurity.
The stubborn tension in that handsome face relaxed in an instant, and his eyes softened as well. His gaze upon Nathalie was so intense it was as if he wanted to draw her in entirely.
Yet the man himself lazily arched an eyebrow, and with a light touch of his thin lips, said, "It’s nothing now."
If it was nothing, why did he call her? Nathalie suspected that he had some serious issues, but she said nothing and entered the private room with the little one, joining the people of Class A.
Although the Class A students noticed something was off with the little guy’s leg, Nathalie’s younger brother was their brother too. Could they really mock their own sibling?
Obviously not!
So everyone tacitly pretended they hadn’t noticed anything just now, playfully engaging with the youngster and chatting away noisily. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Nathalie stepped out in the middle of it all to take a phone call.
When she returned, she said to them, "I have a relative coming soon, you guys don’t mind one more person joining us for dinner, right?"
Ever since Jhovany Sullivan found out that the Tsinghua University professor was her dad, and the esteemed guest principal was a friend she knew, she thought of herself as quite worldly and composed as she waved her hand, signaling, "I don’t mind."
"Me neither," Clerent Miller chimed in, raising her hand without wanting to be outdone.
Everyone said they didn’t mind, so Nathalie felt relieved and massaged the bridge of her nose, stating, "He’s nearby and will be here soon."
Considering themselves hardened by life’s storms, everyone took it in stride and didn’t think much of it.
Soon after, a young man wearing a duckbill cap and sunglasses hurriedly pushed the door and entered their private room.
"Sorry, I’m late."
There was something inexplicably pleasant about his voice.
Several girls were immediately captivated by his voice.
Jhovany and the others vaguely felt that the man’s figure looked familiar, but since he was covered up with a cap, sunglasses, and even a mask, leaving no part of his face exposed, they couldn’t tell who it was right away.
"Nathalie, who is this...?"
Nathalie leaned back lazily in her chair, fiddling with her phone and hadn’t the chance to respond.
Audrick removed his mask, sunglasses, and cap, shook his hair with a handsome flick of his head, revealing his finely chiseled face.
His peach blossom eyes blinked at the crowd.
"Hi everyone, I’m Nathalie’s brother."
"You can just call me Audrick."
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa shhh!
The boys from the class were okay, still not quite catching on, but the few girls that had come along huddled together, barely stopping themselves from shouting out loud.
"Audrick, Audrick, Audrick, Audrick... Audrick Zachmann!"
Jhovany Sullivan was his die-hard fan and, in her excitement, nearly caused Justin Wafford’s arm to rebound from her pinch.
Oh my god, my idol appears before me, yet his sister is your classmate!
What am I to do!
Mommy loves you! Loves you!
Audrick turned his head and blinked at her again, finding her excited demeanor cute. Smiling amiably, he flirted, "It’s not ’Audrick, Audrick, Audrick.’ Kid, call me Audrick."
Amadeus gave him a kick and glared at him with fierce eyes, his voice laced with venom, "Stop flirting."
Audrick realized this was his sister’s classmate and touched his nose sheepishly, raising his hand to apologize, "Sorry, it’s a habit."
He, with his flamboyant face, greeted Nathalie, "Good morning, Nathalie."
A cup of milk tea was placed in front of her.
"There’s a good milk tea shop where I just came from, I heard you students like this stuff, so I bought you a cup."
Nathalie glanced at it, noted that it was exactly the same as the one Edric had bought.
Her brow twitched, her voice hoarse, "Is there a promotion at the milk tea shop today?"
What’s with everyone, is bulk-buying milk tea in fashion now?
