The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 1404: Isn’t Nathalie in Danger?
"Speaking of which, it’s quite a coincidence. During that conflict we had with them in the Illegal Zone, the research expert leading our team was your father-in-law."
Brian Bonette chuckled again and said, "This time it’s Nathalie again... huh, fate doesn’t seem shallow!"
Amadeus Yancey quietly listened to him speak, not saying a word. Finally, he lightly continued, "I remember Mundania changed their participants once, didn’t they?"
"?"
Brian thought for a moment, seeming to recall, and calmly said, "I think something like that happened."
"Maxcel is Middle Eastern, after all, not from Mundania. Moreover, he’s quite a proud person who rarely participates in these competitions. He hasn’t even made it onto the Honor List of hackers, yet everyone in the hacker realm acknowledges his strength as rivaling the top hacker, Sun."
Amadeus just laughed, "Ha, rival Sun?"
Sadam Vinson couldn’t help but interject again and swore in frustration, "Damn, who is this strong?"
Since Brian was not in the hacker field, he shrugged his shoulders upon hearing this, "I don’t know, I’m just sharing what I know with you."
He adjusted his glasses, his gaze sharp, "Ms. Quinlan is facing strong opponents in this competition. Besides Maxcel, there’s another person, Aiden. This guy is from Gondwana, and he’s strong, too. His status in the national hacker scene parallels Lincoln Hoffman’s status domestically. Everyone acknowledges him as the top in his country’s hacker scene. He’s ranked eighteenth on the Honor List of hackers."
Amadeus still hadn’t spoken.
Sadam Vinson fell silent, muttering to himself, "Where the hell do these freaks spring from? It’s just a software competition, do they really have to be this serious? They found these people, damn, never been beaten."
"What did you expect?" Brian Bonette glanced at him and calmly said, "This competition is mind-blowingly great worldwide; it’s not just a contest, it represents the participating countries’ current computer prowess."
"..."
Sadam Vinson was speechless for two seconds, then scratched his head in frustration, looking up; he said worriedly, "Isn’t Nathalie in trouble then?"
While Amadeus and the others were chatting, Govert Griffin didn’t dare to interrupt as boldly as Sadam Vinson did. But when he heard Sadam Vinson’s voice sounding deflated, although he didn’t speak out loud, his thoughts mirrored Sadam’s.
Nathalie is in trouble this time!
After so many experiences, Govert Griffin could now use the word "worship" when thinking of Nathalie.
Normally outside, he’d wholeheartedly believe Nathalie can pull it off.
This time, though...
Govert Griffin thought of Nathalie’s injured right hand, his heart sinking halfway down, and he tried to comfort from the side, "Ms. Quinlan hurt her hand, that’s inevitable..."
But Sadam Vinson, feeling gloomy, completely ignored him.
Govert Griffin couldn’t continue speaking either and shut his mouth in frustration.
Brian Bonette glancing at the exceptionally charming man, noticed Amadeus Yancey seemed quite calm, not worried at all about Nathalie in the upcoming competition, raising his eyebrows unexpectedly, "Mr. Yancey, you’re not worried?"
"Worried about what?" With one hand holding the phone, still messaging people to investigate Maxcel, Amadeus lifted his chin slightly upon hearing this, lazily glancing at his friend, as if understanding his intentions all the more clearly, he responded with increasing ease, "Not worried, because she is Nathalie."
