Chapter 143: Chapter 143: It’s Like She’s Found Herself a Father_1

To prevent further harassment, she found Emilia Sullivan’s phone number in her phone book that she hadn’t blocked yet and dragged it into the blacklist as well.

Having done this.

She took a sip of iced water and glanced at the time on her wristwatch.

Lowie Wilmar’s airplane was almost there.

Just at that moment.

Her phone buzzed and vibrated.

She looked down.

A new message had arrived.

[Edric Yancey: Sister, will you come to the hospital at noon?]

Nathalie Quinlan toyed with a tiny gun-shaped lighter in her hand, and seeing his message, her eyes warmed and she quickly replied.

[NQ: Not today, eat your meals well by yourself, and listen to your uncle’s words.]

[Edric Yancey: What about in the evening?]

The message was sent back so quickly from the other side of the phone that she could tell he was holding his phone, sending messages to himself.

Nathalie Quinlan thought for a moment; she had a dinner appointment in the evening and probably wouldn’t make it back either, so her pale fingers tapped on the phone screen.

[NQ: I have a dinner with a friend tonight. You and uncle eat together, I will come to see you tomorrow.]

The little guy had become increasingly clingy to her lately, practically turning into her little shadow.

He insisted on knowing exactly where she was every day.

He almost wished to share every meal with her.

Nathalie Quinlan hadn’t experienced the feeling of being looked after before, but since knowing him, it felt like she had gained another father.

Before she could put her phone down, another message from Edric Yancey came through.

[Edric Yancey: It’s not safe for sister to be out alone at night, where are you dining? Uncle and I can come pick you up later, okay? ┭┮﹏┭┮]

The little guy seemed afraid she would refuse, so he added a pitifully cute emoticon to persuade her.

Nathalie Quinlan’s mouth twitched slightly.

Looking up at the flow of people in the airport, she really didn’t want Amadeus Yancey to come pick her up.

But...

Her finger didn’t listen to her, submitting to the little guy’s cute emoticon.

[NQ: A location has been sent your way.]

She sent the location of where she would have dinner to the little guy, pressing the button to turn off the screen, which darkened.

As soon as she put the phone down, she caught a glimpse of a flamboyant figure entering the café from the corner of her eye.

Lowie Wilmar was not bad-looking. His face wasn’t much worse than Amadeus Yancey’s, if at all, but their fashion tastes were worlds apart!

Amadeus Yancey preferred simple styles, mostly wearing black, white, and gray colors with business-casual designs.

Whereas Lowie Wilmar...

Nathalie Quinlan crossed her arms, watching the man walk in with his multicolored hair and flashy earring, adorned with a big gold chain and dressed in a biker jacket that didn’t quite look like one, with pants sagging low.

His style of dressing would’ve made anybody else look dated as the Pacific Ocean.

But he was capricious because he could pull it off.

With his height of over six feet and a body like a model, he somehow managed to make his disastrous outfit work, creating a style entirely his own.

Arrogant and showy!

And he surprisingly attracted quite a few young girls’ attention as he approached.

Nathalie Quinlan watched as he walked up to her, electrifying the air like lightning, and sat down in front of her. She couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow and asked with a bandit’s air, "Can’t you switch up your style?"

All day long, wearing the most obnoxious clothes with the handsomest face, didn’t he find it wasteful?

"Give me a Blue Mountain, no sugar."

Lowie Wilmar, smiling, finished ordering his coffee from the waitress, his dazzling smile making the waitress blush and scamper away with the menu.

Then he slouched in his seat like a lord, blinked his peach blossom eyes, and flirted with her, "Where’s the waste, I dressed up specially for you."

"How could I pick up an 18-year-old girl if I didn’t dress younger?!"

He even purposely brought his handsome face closer, showing off his earring, "Nathalie, check out my new earring. Do you like it?"
