The Villainess is my fiance: But she is gentle towards me-Chapter 215 -: Are you a transgender?
Dust and smoke filled the air as the weird voice rang out.
From the thick smoke, a figure suddenly dashed forward.
He had two long horns growing from his forehead.
His black hair was very long, reaching down to his waist.
The strands looked like thin iron wires and made a soft metallic clink as he moved.
His ears became sharp and pointed. He ran fast toward the big hall, carrying Salena in his arms.
"Where do you think you’re going?" the same weird voice echoed again. Right after, a huge fireball flew straight at him.
Vivian did not even turn his head.
Behind him, a thick wall of earth shot up from the ground. The fireball hit the wall hard, but it could not break through.
Vivian reached the hall and gently put Salena down.
"Go inside and wait for me," he said quickly.
He did not wait for her answer. He turned and ran back outside at once.
Salena stared at his back with worried eyes.
Her heart felt heavy. She tried to speak, but no words came out. Just a moment ago, if Vivian had not saved her, she would be dead.
"Is he going to be okay?" she whispered.
She tried to follow him with her eyes, but he moved so fast that she could not even see his shadow anymore.
Behind her, the nobles rushed out of the hall with scared faces.
"What just happened?"
"What was that loud explosion?"
They started to panic. Everyone looked toward the big cloud of smoke in the distance.
Clang!!
A loud sound of metal hitting metal rang through the air. All eyes turned to two blurry figures fighting far away.
"Salena?" Marinate stepped out of the hall.
The moment she saw Salena, she noticed her standing there, frozen and staring ahead.
When Salena heard her name, she turned around. Her eyes were full of fear and worry.
"What happened? Where is Vivian?" Marinate asked. Her voice started to shake with panic.
Salena’s voice trembled as she answered.
"I don’t know... We were about to leave, and then someone attacked brother. Right now... they are fighting."
She lifted her shaky hand and pointed toward the two small dots moving and clashing in the distance.
Marinate looked that way. She spread her mana sense outward and soon felt Vivian’s strong energy far off.
"Stay here," she told Salena. She was about to run toward the fight.
But then—
"Sister..."
Raon stepped out from the hall and gently stopped Marinate by holding her arm.
"You can’t go right now."
"But—" Marinate started to argue.
Raon cut her off. "I know how you feel. But you can’t jump into a fight between two grandmasters. If you go, you will only get in the way. You will become a problem for him instead of help."
Marinate bit her lower lip hard. Deep inside, she knew Raon was right. Still, her heart hurt.
She wanted so badly to do something, anything, to help Vivian.
She stood there, helpless, watching the distant flashes of light and hearing the sounds of battle echo across the grounds.
Salena stayed close to her, both of them silent, eyes fixed on the fight they could barely see.
Far away from the hall, Vivian was locked in battle with the mysterious attacker.
Earlier, everything happened so fast that he couldn’t get a good look at the person.
But now, standing face to face, he could see everything clearly.
[Hey, softie, what exactly is this thing?]
The sword spirit’s voice rang inside Vivian’s head. The spirit sounded confused.
[Is it some kind of monster? An abomination?] The sword spirit frowned.
Even he couldn’t make sense of what they were looking at.
Vivian frowned too. He stared hard at the figure in front of him. Was this even a person?
At first, he had only noticed that the voice sounded strange, half deep, half soft.
But now that he could see it properly, his face twisted in shock and confusion.
"What are you?" Vivian asked directly.
The figure slowly spun its long spear and rested it on one shoulder.
"You don’t need to know," it answered in a voice that was oddly mixed, part rough, part smooth.
Vivian’s eyes narrowed. A look of pure confusion appeared on his face.
"Are you... a transgender?" he asked seriously.
"......"
"......"
Silence.
Both the sword spirit and the mysterious figure stared at Vivian like he had lost his mind.
The sword spirit let out a long sigh inside his head.
[Can’t you see it’s an abomination? How could this possibly be a transgender?]
Vivian pointed at the figure, still trying to understand.
"Look at its legs, its chest, its face. Everything is split in half! One side looks completely like a woman, soft face, breast, slim leg. The other side looks completely like a man, hard muscles, flat chest, thick leg. Even the nose, eyes, teeth, lips, everything is different on each half. So... isn’t that what transgender means?"
He was genuinely puzzled. He wasn’t trying to insult anyone, he was just very confused by what he was seeing.
The figure’s half-feminine, half-masculine face twisted in anger.
Vivian tilted his head. "Are you sure you’re not a transgender? I mean... you’re really strong, mid-stage grandmaster level, but this is just... really strange to look at."
"ENOUGH!!" the half-man, half-woman roared. Its mixed voice cracked with fury.
In an instant, it charged forward, spear flashing as it rushed straight at Vivian with deadly speed.
Vivian quickly raised his hand. The ground beneath him shook as he prepared to meet the attack head-on.
The sword spirit chuckled darkly in his mind. [Finally something interesting. Let’s see how this ugly thing fights.]
The two powerful figures clashed again. Sparks flew.
The air screamed with the force of their blows.
Dust rose higher into the sky as the battle between Vivian and the strange half-and-half grandmaster shook the entire area.
"Thunder," Vivian muttered under his breath.
The sky above him quickly turned dark. Thick black clouds rolled in out of nowhere.
Loud thunder boomed, and bright lightning cracked down straight into his open hands.
Blue-white electricity wrapped around his whole body like shining armor.
Sparks jumped and hissed in the air. With a sharp burst of speed, Vivian rushed straight toward the strange creature.
He was still very confused about what this thing really was, half man, half woman, half everything, but now was not the time to think.
First, he had to defeat it. Then he could figure out what it was.
Boom!!
His sword met the creature’s spear in a powerful crash.
The force pushed both of them back hard. Dust flew everywhere.
Vivian slid back a few steps to steady himself. He quickly moved to the side and raised his right hand high.
Thunder roared from the sky again. This time the lightning was much stronger than before he became a grandmaster.
The sheer amount of electricity made the air shake. It gathered in his hand and formed into a long, glowing spear made of pure thunder.
Vivian threw the lightning spear forward with full force. It shot toward the creature like a streak of white fire.
"Fire," he said next.
Suddenly, huge flames appeared all around him.
They were not normal fire. This was real, pure fire, the kind only a grandmaster could control.
The heat was so strong that the ground under him started to crack and smoke.
The creature’s strange half-face twisted in shock. "Fire too?" it whispered.
First thunder, now fire? Dread flashed in its mismatched eyes. It had not expected this.
It raised its spear high and stabbed straight into the center of the giant fireball Vivian had made.
Boom!!
A massive explosion shook the area. Flames scattered in every direction like burning rain.
The creature could not keep attacking—it was thrown backward by the blast.
It jumped high into the air to escape, trying to put distance between them.
But Vivian was not going to let it run.
"Wind," he said quietly.
All the wind in the area suddenly rushed toward him.
It lifted him off the ground and carried him forward like a storm. In seconds, he was flying straight after the creature.
The creature’s eyes went wide. Shock and fear filled its face. "Wind...?" it said in a shaking voice. "Three? He controls three main elements?"
Pure dread appeared in its eyes now. It turned and tried to flee even faster.
Vivian chased right behind. In almost no time, he appeared in front of the creature again. He swung his sword hard.
A thick wave of dark sword energy burst out from the blade.
It flew straight toward the creature’s throat like a black crescent moon, sharp and deadly.
[Hahahaha, baby, come to papa!] the sword spirit laughed wildly inside Vivian’s mind.
The killing intent inside the sword grew even stronger, almost hungry. The dark energy pulsed and roared as it closed in on the target.
The creature raised its spear in panic, trying to block the deadly strike. The air screamed. The ground trembled.
The battle between the grandmaster with three elements and the strange half-being had reached its most dangerous moment.
