Chapter 160: His Memories

"What’s wrong doctor?"

"One of his characters died..." The head doctor sweatted a bit as he got an immense headache upon thinking of the future events that were about to follow after this...

Checking it up, sorting out the error, replacing the character, removing the memories, feedback, dealing with Abigail’s memories as well...

The head doctor rubbed his forehead.

One of the doctors beside him said, "But he’s still breathing, isn’t he?" 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

"What do you mean?" The head doctor tilted his head.

"What I mean is... since he is still alive, why not distribute the consciousness of that dead character with the other two?"

"Impossible!" The head doctor instantly refused this idea and shook his head. "Do you have any idea how dangerous this is? We were already on the verge of losing him when we learned of the first error! He was supposed to enter only as one, but he ended up entering as three damned people! Whose brilliant idea was it to send him?! He’s a doctor! Not some tester! This machine wasn’t finalized, and how dangerous it was! You also know about it!

"His...." The doctor at the back sighed and said, "I can only suggest. How about letting one of the characters share the consciousness?"

The doctor looked at the error. Honestly, if he tried going the original path, he might end up missing out a lot of time, thus, making the person inside fall into an even more dangerous situation. Thus, this idea was feasible. In any case, the chances of the man’s survival were at least 50%.

Thus, the doctor gritted his teeth and said, "Alright. Let’s do it!"

Nicholas was still in his hotel, but for some reason, he had a terrible premonition in his heart. He stopped typing on his computer and looked at his phone. Then he finally sighed, calling Abigail.

But even before she could pick up the call, an immense headache throbbed into his head as he clutched it with his hand. Beads of sweat appeared on his temples. His brows furrowed as he pursed his lips.

He looked like his head was being smashed into pieces as he rubbed his forehead again and again.

Then, all of a sudden, the headache vanished without a trace, leaving only a few vague memories that obviously didn’t belong to himself. Part of it belonged to Asher, and part of it was of someone named Silas.

His brows furrowed, but before he could even get enough time to ponder and reach out to those memories, Abigail’s voice echoed into his ears. "Husband, what’s up?"

Her voice was full of surprise, making Nicholas stunned. He licked his lips as his brows furrowed deeper.

His terrible feeling only increased after receiving memories. Even though it was vague, it was confirmed that something must have happened. As for why he was so sure, even he didn’t know why.

Even though he thought it was absurd, he still wanted to assure that everything was fine.

Abigail tilted her head as she leaned against a barstool, watching the staff members, actors, and actresses dancing on the dance floor. She had seen Rebecca too, but for some reason, she disappeared from the dance floor completely.

But it wasn’t that Abigail cared about her. Thus, she continued to sit there on the barstool and do nothing.

Just then, she had gotten the call from her husband. He picked up the call and casually asked, "Husband, what’s up?"

Nicholas was stunned hearing her voice. He instantly got back to his senses. "Her voice was full of surprise, making Nicholas stunned. He licked his lips as his brows furrowed deeper. "Where’s Asher?"

Abigail frowned. "Isn’t he back at the building? Call him if you want him for something." The corner of her lips curved up as she finally said, "Or do you want to talk to me, dear husband~~?"

Nicholas sighed and said, "No nothing. I just had a bad feeling."

It only increased after he received Asher’s and Silas’s vague memories that he wasn’t clear about, but some scenes were clear.

For example, Asher falling into a pit as a toddler. Him attending his first day of school, and how he treated Abigail to a date in a futuristic setting. He could remember those things vaguely, but that was it.

As for Silas.... His memories were even more vague. He only remembered Abigail sitting on a chair and talking to him about all kinds of things. That was all.

These things combined made Nicholas confused. For a moment, he didn’t know whose memories were whose, but one thing was for sure. Something did happen.

He couldn’t help but feel a little restless in his heart as he said in an instant. "Why don’t you return and see what he’s doing?"

"Why are you worried about him...?" Abigail found it weird seeing her husband like this. Weren’t they rivals? Even if something did happen, Nicholas would probably be the last person to care about everything.

"Just do as I said." Nicholas rubbed his forehead as he said, "I’m coming there."

After saying that, he instantly hung up the call, got off the bed and walked outside the room, locking it behind him.

Abigail looked confused as she put the phone down. In fact, she was indeed feeling a trace of terrible premonition in her heart, and it only increased a while ago. She pursed her lips as she continued to sit there.

Finally, after a few seconds had passed by, she couldn’t sit still and muttered under her breath, "I should go and check up on him. Just in case...."

Susan, who accidentally saw the woman trying to slip by, rushed over and stopped Abigail from advancing further. "Yo, join the fun, girl! What are you rushing for?" She winked at her and said, "Do you miss your boyfriend so much that you can’t stand his separation even for a moment?"

Abigail pursed her lips and said bluntly, "Yes. You’re right."

"..." Susan just meant to tease the girl. Normally, a girl would blush after hearing those words, but what’s up with this Olivia? She wasn’t ordinary at all!

Susan took a deep breath and said, "Well, whatever, go then."

Before Abigail could relax and go toward the exit, someone came toward them stumbling. It was a guard who was supposed to stand outside that particular floor where they were currently shooting the scenes. His face was pale white as he looked utterly frightened.

Even Susan frowned and asked, "What happened?"

"A murder!"
