The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 173: Rebecca’s Secret....
Nicholas raised his brows as a trace of amusement flashed across his eyes. He walked closer to her and bent over, levelling up to her eyes. "What if I don’t want to?"
"...."
Abigail swore she was close to flaring up in anger. She hadn’t felt so much angrier for such a long time, but unlike before, she felt that her body frozen in place, not daring to move even a single inch under his intense gaze.
Even though she wanted to, she couldn’t vent her anger anymore. And by the time she would be left alone, her anger would die down because of some other events happening around her.
Thus, lately, she hadn’t been able to destroy things around her in anger because she was freaking frozen when she wanted to!
Her anger spiked up even more as she glared at him. "This is my room!"
"Yes, but I’m your husband." Nicholas’s words were brazen as he pulled off the buttons of his shirt one after another revealing his naked chest. "Can’t I stay with my own wife?"
Abigail took a deep breath and gritted her teeth, saying, "Do whatever you want."
She didn’t care about him anymore. Whatever, she already had her own novel to write it all down. After that, she glanced at her screen and hypnotized herself—’I have to write. I love writing novels. I’ll write like hell today and ignore whatever things Nicholas throws at my face.’
Thus, after she was finally emotionally stable, she took a deep breath and started typing on her laptop, and this time, her expression was serious as she typed furiously as if she were merely venting her emotions on the keyboard.
Nicholas watched her for a while and decided not to disturb her anymore. Thus, after taking off his clothes, he casually threw it on the bed and walked toward the bathroom without looking back.
When he returned after bathing, Abigail had again slept leaning against the headboard once again with her lips slightly parted. She breathed evenly and still looked as adorable as ever.
Nicholas’s eyes softened as he walked over and shut the laptop. Of course, he hesitated as he glanced at her laptop and opened it once again.
Then he scanned her folder and easily found the novel she was writing before, slowly reading it right from the start once again.
A couple of hours passed by before he finished reading all the Chapters and he closed it with a frown on his forehead.
When he had read before, he had started to get several dreams. At first, he had merely ignored them because who would take dreams seriously? He would be mad if he did.
In his mind, perhaps he had those kinds of dreams with himself as a man named Silas who was treating his patient named Abigail. In his mind, he was still thinking those dreams might either be from his past life or maybe it was because he had been seeing Abigail too much.
Thus, despite having an intuition about how important those dreams were, he ignored them right then and there, continuing his regular duties.
But now that he observed the novel carefully until the end, he realized most of the dreams matched with several scenes from this book!
How was it possible?
Could it really be his past life?
Then.... His patient became his wife in this life?
For some reason, he felt this was completely absurd. Thus he stopped thinking about it and decided not to think much.
He took a deep breath and got up, placing the laptop on the desk. He looked at the food that was touched a little, but she only finished half. So he picked it up and went toward the kitchen.
By the time he returned, his dear wife had already slept sideways, directly dumping her body on the scraps of snacks spread around the place.
His eyes softened as he cleaned it up little by little and when he was done, he only bent over and stared at her face.
Even though her lips looked parted, they still looked delicious in his heart almost to the point of making him yearn for something. He swallowed and finally bent over, pecking her lips once again.
Clearly, once wasn’t enough. He gave her lips a couple of pecks before he reluctantly backed away. Even though he liked teasing her, it didn’t mean he would go all out and deliberately make her angry.
Thus, he shifted her body a little and slept on his side. The moment he lay down on his bed, he felt the woman shifting over to him, directly snacking an arm around his body like nothing happened.
Of course, Abigail was still sleeping soundly, not showing a trace of consciousness at this time. Nicholas felt funny. If she realized in the morning that she was the one to hug him first in the sleep, he wondered how she would react.
But that was for the morning. He sighed deeply, feeling content at heart as he hugged her body from the side and closed his eyes.
Ever since he started sleeping beside her, he realized his quality of sleep improved profoundly to the point he didn’t even have to take sleeping pills. She was a walking sleeping pill for him.
On the other side, Rebecca, who had already realized that her pretty lady had long gone to another country to hide, didn’t react much. In fact, she had expected something like this to happen.
Once she was all alone in her room, she pulled up a transparent screen by directly clicking something on her hand. If you noticed clearly, there would be a bracelet on her wrist, looking ancient in a sense.
Once that screen appeared, a stats screen appeared in front of her eyes. She directly ignored it and clicked a tab on the side saying, Author.
Abigail’s pic appeared on that page wearing her patient’s uniform. Beneath her pic, there was a biodata that seemed to have been directly transmitted from the real-world database.
Below, there was a stats that seemed to show her 42%, looking at which, Rebecca’s brows furrowed.
"How come it’s only this much? I thought it would at least become 20..." She sighed and shrugged. "In any case, my work is to take her place in the real world, isn’t it? Once it reaches zero, I’ll be successful and she’ll be the one trapped inside here."
