The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband-Chapter 584: The end
The physician swallowed. "It’s the fact. You fainted due to prolonged stress. It’s a miracle that you have handled this pregnancy so well without any symptoms..."
Abrielle and Cedric stared at each other, stunned, trying to understand what was happening. "Wait, I am really pregnant." She repeatedly touched her flat stomach.
"Yes, you are carrying the future heirs. Although the most dangerous trimester has passed, I still advise you to take things easy." He affirmed. The physician was referring to the strenuous exercise they were doing earlier.
Abrielle’s face beamed and she hugged Cedric. "We are going to be parents..." She chimed, chuckling happily. Cedric finally snapped out of his daze then glanced at her stomach.
Why didn’t he realise earlier? She had been pregnant all this time. When she took care of him while he was injured. While he was in Netheralis even when she died
He had sensed something different about her presence when he returned to Heliosa. He felt it was stronger because she had been training under Aurelius. Cedric had never imagined she was pregnant.
She carried all that stress while carrying their baby.
Abrielle wasn’t the only one who would have left him if she died.
"Telay instructions to the maids." Cedric excused the physician the moment the doors closed, and it was just the two of them. He pulled her closer, burying his face in her stomach.
Abrielle was stunned, she felt him tremble as he cried on her. Her eyes also stung. She sniffed, and her hand was patting his back.
A year ago, Abrielle never imagined having his children or starting an actual family, but here they were.

"Throughout my entire pregnancy, your Papa was like an annoying mother hen," Abrielle grumbled, recounting how much Cedric had taken care of her during her pregnancy.
He acted like she was a fragile glass forgetting what she endured during her first trimester.
The day she fell into labour, Cedric abandoned every duty to stay by her side for the entire process. As a divine being, he could absorb pain. He tried his best to reduce the pain.
He was like any other husband and not an overbearing emperor.
"I don’t believe Papa would cry, Mama." A small girl, around 4 years old, with raven black hair and blue eyes, chimed. She was resting her head on Abrielle’s thigh while listening to her tale.
"Well, your Papa indeed cried, Abigail," Abrielle replied, pulling her daughter’s cheek. She named her after her friend, the little girl who died while defending her. Abigail pouted her lips. Her strong papa wasn’t a crybaby
A short laugh rang from her side. Abigail glared at the older boy who was around 7 years old. Aelric was a copy of his father to the teeth. He looked nothing like his mother, unlike sweet Abigail, who was the perfect combination of Cedric and Abrielle.
When Aelric was born, Cedric was upset because he wanted their son to look like Abrielle, although he still loved him dearly. They were excited when she was pregnant with Abigail hoping to have a mini Abrielle.
She ended up sharing their features although she looks more like her father also
Aelric laughed, finding it absurd that their father would cry. "I wish I were there to see him." Abrielle rolled her eyes at him.
"It did happen, even your father can also cry," Abrielle said on a final note. Abigail snuggled closer to their mother, her eyes still sparkling with curiosity.
"What about Aunty Cassandra and Elias? What happened after they got engaged?" The little girl asked.
Before Abrielle could answer, grumpy Aelric chirped in, "They got married and had Lizzy, of course. Stop asking dumb questions." The boy sneered. Lizzy was Elias and Evelyn’s daughter.
After the two got married, Elias took over a title, and Evelyn started using her original name, Cassandra. She was still serving as the empress’s right hand till today.
Their union so far has been blessed with a daughter, a year younger than Aelric, with a cold face just like her parents. Lizzy was pretty but acted too mature for a 6-year-old.
Abigail’s brows twitched. She picked up a pillow and then threw it at her brother’s face. "I wasn’t talking to you." Abigail burst out and before Abrielle knew it they were fighting
"Please, can you stop fighting?" Abrielle tried to separate these two who love getting on each other’s necks every chance they get
Abigail was a princess but was far from gracious. "If you don’t stop, I will tell your father." The moment those words fell from her mouth they stopped then batted their eyes pitifully
"Please don’t tell Papa. We promise to behave." They coherently said. Abrielle snickered..they weren’t scared of her.
"Just behave and your father won’t hear a word of this." Abrielle agreed. They immediately got on the bed and then snuggled up to their mother.
"We are sorry," Abigail said and Aelric nodded. Abrielle smiled, rubbing her stomach. She was expecting her third child soon, and she wondered if this one would look like her.
"Mama, can you tell us more stories?" Aelric requested. Abrielle nodded then continued telling her children stories. It was a cool spring night
These trouble makers had snuck into her room because they missed her. Abrielle’s pregnancy was towards the late stages where she couldn’t move much.
Her soothing voice filled the room, their giggles and laughs were harmonious until the room turned silent. They had fallen asleep while listening to her. Abigail was resting on her legs with Aelric snuggled next to her.
The door creaked open, casting the soft candlelight on the bed. Abrielle’s eyes sparkled once she saw him. It’s been 7 years and nothing has changed about Cedric
At times she wondered if he truly lost his immortality. Cedric was exhausted from a long day handling the empire’s affairs. Walking into the scene of his entire family snuggled on the bed immediately warmed his heart.
."How was your day?" Abrielle asked with a soft smile running her hands through Abigail’s hair. Cedric smiled. He approached the bed and then planted a soft peck on her forehead.
"It was a bit stressful, nothing I can’t handle." He said, his eyes darting around the bed. His lips were twitching because he warned them from not stressing their mother..
Cedric always thought Abrielle’s pregnancies were delicate when they weren’t. He was still troubled by her first miscarriage.
"I’m glad you are fine." She chimed then patted the space beside Aelric.
Cedric pulled off his shoes and heavy coat then sat next to Aelric. He found their son an inconvenience but had to manage because Abrielle loved them around.
"I hope they weren’t a bother." He asked, his gaze soft and tender. Abrielle giggled, then shook her head. "They weren’t. I was just telling them stories."
The warmth in her eyes and gentle care made his eyes swell. Abrielle was giving them something he never had: a loving family. She was the source of warmth in his world
Abrielle was his world
"You know I love you." He said, reaching out to kiss her. "Yes, I know, and I love you more." She said, although Cedric doubts that. He loved her more than life.
"You are always like this." A small voice grumbled and they froze. Cedric glanced at Aelric whose sharp gold eyes were staring at them. Another voice giggled, Abigail was also awake. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
"It’s because they love each other genius." She laughed at her elder brother. Cedric’s lips twitched once more. Abrielle burst into a laugh and soon their laughs joined.
