The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 156: Only one
"Now I know you are teasing me." She told him.
It was her turn to grab his hand and eat the grape which she chewed with devout relishing. He fed her another, and another, until the whole bunch was finished.
"So," he said as he peeled a banana for her, "Is this what the experience is about? We feed each other little morsels of fruit, listen to music and talk?"
She looked at the jacuzzi, towels and bathrobes.
"I think we sip some wine, enjoy a dip in the jacuzzi, take a bath and then sleep. Jin Kang told me that it was a fun thing to do as a couple."
Caishen's lips frowned and he shook his head. "My body is not touching that bed or that jacuzzi and neither is yours. We don't know what people do in these rooms."
She laughed. She was having so much fun watching him squirm as he eyed the bed as if it had visible stains. But, she was in agreement with him about the possible use or misuse of the rooms by some guests.
Privacy however was excellent, very convenient for an intimate date away from prying eyes.
Her husband was wiping his hands, meanwhile which made her wonder if he was done.
But then, he picked up a glass of wine and she assumed that it was meant for him so her hands reached for the slice of what looked like a strawberry chocolate cake. They had really included a lot of chocolate in their desserts.
"Here," Caishen held the glass of wine to her mouth.
"Hmm." she responded and her head moved back slightly.
Alix knew herself quite well from everything that Jin Kang and Holea had told her about herself. She was apparently a very clingy and horny drunk. She was also a light drunk because one glass alone was enough to make her lose control over her faculties. Because of this reason, she never touched a sip of alcohol if she was out without her friends.
"I don't think you want to see me drunk." she told him.
"It's non alcoholic." he told her.
Still he put the glass down because he respected her choice. He had assumed that she simply wasn't fond of the taste of alcohol but her great reluctance to take even a single sip made him curious.
"Out of curiosity and for future reference, what happens when you drink alcohol?" he asked her.
"My hands and lips misbehave." She had no qualms about sharing this fact with him.
Perhaps in future she would be at an occasion that required her to drink. If was with her then his knowledge of her weakness would come in handy.
"You need to expand on that." he told her.
"In the words of my friends, I am as clingy as a cat and horny as a sea otter during mating season when I have some alcohol in me."
Caishen guffawed and nudged his body forward tilting his head in different directions to take a closer look at her embarrassed face. She on the other hand moved her head from side to side, avoiding his amused eyes.
He gave up on trying that and used his hands to hold her still instead.
"A sea otter, really!" Looking, into her eyes, he said. "The males or the females?"
She rolled her eyes and crammed her lips together.
Caishen continued laughing at her. What he did know about sea otters and there mating habits was that the males were very aggressive. Those tiny, furry, cute mammals did not mess around when it came to mating.
He pinched her cheeks and said, "I hope it's not the males. You are already super my strong sister hulk. If we add aggressiveness to the list then we might have to sleep in separate bedrooms."
She was quick to poke him in the stomach and say, "Don't even think about it."
He laughed and palmed her cheeks gently.
"Alright, alright, no separate bedrooms. Don't break my ribs."
"Caishen!!!" she cried out. "Stop teasing me, it's not fun."
"But it's fun for me." she answered. She puffed her cheeks a little and sulked.
"Sister hulk." he shook her shoulder.
"Hmph," She turned her head to the opposite side and ignored him.
"Okay, I will take a temporary break for now. Let's continue with our date, there is still a lot of your hands have not touched yet." he told her. "Look, there is ice cream in an ice bucket with a spoon."
She turned her head back to face him and opened her mouth. "Feed me."
"Yes my sea otter." he said with a smile.
"Caishen!!" she yelled.
She was filled with regret. She never should have told him because he would not let it go. First sister hulk and now sea otter. He gave the worst nicknames in the world.
Meanwhile, Tai Ho Sun made it back to the Tai family home after dropping off the jewels he had bought from Alix. His grandfather wanted to see a sample in person however so he came with one red ruby.
"Here," he handed it in.
Grandpa Tai was playing a game of go with his wife who was agitated because she was losing while her husband bragged.
The game was abandoned temporarily and he examined the ruby closely.
"Good quality, uncut, deep color. As expected of my granddaughter, she knows how to pick the best jewels for us. She would not be selling these to us if it wasn't for me."
The old man did not even hesitate to brag and claim Alix as his grandchild as usual. However, claiming that she was selling to them all because of him was too ridiculous.
"Grandfather..." Tai Ho Sun started to say.
"What?" his grandfather asked him.
His grandfather had a spark in his eyes and Tai Ho Sun figured that it was better to let the old man have his fun.
"Nothing, she sent some other things as well."
He took the apples and beef jerky jars out of the bag and placed them on the table.
"One apple is yours and one is for grandmother. She said that she would send more beef jerky and that we should save the apple seeds and return them to her because they are special."
The corners of grandpa Tai's lips curled upwards in a fond smile.
"Aah, my only good granddaughter. She is the only one who has given me some stuff during this holiday."
Tai Ho Sun who had just gifted his grandfather with a brand new car felt betrayed.
"The only one!!' he exclaimed.

"Yes." Grandpa Tai answered. "Hurry, take a picture of me holding my apple. I want to share it in the family group chat."
Five minutes later, everyone that was active in the family group chat left. It had become a bragging zone for the old man lately. Why was he smiling so much because of one cheap green apple?
"Tsk, tsk, what a bunch of jealous brats." grandpa Tai said.
He smiled at the apple fondly and took a big bite out of it. His eyes widened and he chewed quickly. He pointed at the apple in surprise and looked from Tai Ho Sun to his wife.
"Oh, it tastes like honey." he blurted. "As expected of my only granddaughter, even her apples are different."
Tai Ho Sun could not bear to listen to the praise anymore so he got up and left.
