The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 210: Pretty baby’s big family.
As early as nine on the morning of the next day, the Tai's arrived at the hospital to visit grandma Zhang. By count alone, at least half of them had come.
Alix had gone down to the lobby to pick them up and she hugged grandma Tai first and then greeted grandpa Tai. She was genuinely excited to see them.
Mo Qilu was quick to stick to Alix's side like glue, linking their arms together the moment she set her eyes on her.
"Now we look like a real mother and daughter." she declared. "Pretty baby, I am so sad that you couldn't sleep at home last night. I was looking forward to having a sleepover."
Li Aihuan had also come and she was stoic faced as usual. When she heard what Mo Qilu said, she rolled her eyes.
"You are not teenage girls, what sleep over." she muttered.
Mo Qilu turned her head back and said to Aihuan, "You bought matching pajamas for yourself and pretty baby. Don't pretend to make that sour face Aihuan. You even came to sleep over yesterday because you thought that she was sleeping over. Am i lying?"
Aihuan glared at Mo Qilu and maintained silence, refusing to accept or deny the allegations.
So, Alix linked her other arm with Aihuan and smiled at the woman. Whatever her deal was, she had come as family and Alix was grateful for that.
"Aunties, where is brother Ho Sun?"

She had looked around when they came but didn't see him. Tai Fong, Tai Jiaan, Tai Dalian and Tai Wong had managed to make it. Tai Wong was holding hands with his father Tai Bo.
"I knew that you would ask for your favorite brother." Mo Qilu said happily. Tai Ho Sun was her son after all, and seemed to be the brother closest to Alix.
"Auntie Mo, I am her favorite." Tai Jiaan heard her and he shouted out.
Aihuan turned her head around and gave her son an approving nod. She even added a thumbs up.
"No, I am the favorite. I am sister's baby brother." Tai Wong declared.
"He just wants ice cream." Tai Fong said.
Tai Wong stuck his tongue out at Tai Fong and everyone laughed. It was true that the boy had a hankering for Alix's ice cream. They had purchased different brands, even imported ones but nothing was similar to what she gave them.
"Ooh, baby brother I have more in stock. I will send it to the house with uncle Ju later." Alix told him.
Tai Wong smiled. To the little boy, this was evidence that she loved him the best.
They arrived at the VIP room and one of the bodyguards pushed the door open. Everyone went in in an orderly way, the elders first, followed by the adults and then the younger generation.
Inside the room. the exchange of greeting started immediately. Grandpa Zhang and grandpa Tai greeted each other as if they had been friends that had not seen in each other for years.
They shook hands with big smiles on their faces.
"Elder Zhang, you and your wife look so healthy and fit. We were worried thinking that the situation was bad." Grandpa Tai loudly said.
Tai Heng had come along because he was the oldest son of the Tai family and Alix's first uncle or god-father. He had also made sure to come because he was worried about his father saying the inappropriate thing. His job was to reel him back if he went too far. He wondered if he should begin the reeling immediately.
"It's nothing, just some high blood pressure." grandma Zhang quickly said.
Alix had told her that she had not told the Tai's about the Wang's. Even though the Tai's wanted Alix to be a part of their family, this was still a new situation. She didn't want to share the complicated details of their lives just yet.
She waved her hand and gestured at them all to sit. "Everyone, please sit and make yourselves comfortable. Alix has told me so much about you all that I feel like I know you already."
Chairs had been arranged in the room to accommodate both the Zhang's and the Tai's. All of the Zhang's were there with the exception of Zhang Xian, Wang Yong and Na Na.
"Greetings, hello." grandma Zhang eagerly started greeting everyone. Grandpa Zhang did the same and the Tai's responded accordingly. The greetings were followed up by introductions.
"We are so happy to meet you all. We came in small numbers to avoid overwhelming you. Our pretty baby has many other brothers that are not here." Grandma Zhang said.
The two Zhang elders smiled. They had heard about the eight brothers from Caishen. They observed the body language between Alix and the Tai's. The two daughters-in-law that had come had her solidly planted between them.
The door slid open and two drivers from the Tai family came in, carrying packaged gifts and flowers.
Grandma Tai gestured in there direction. "We brought some gifts because it's our first time meeting and also because we are visiting someone in the hospital. We didn't bring a lot."
The Zhang's looked at the gifts that were slowly piling up to form a small mountain and wondered how this was in any way not a lot.
"You brought a lot. You didn't have to do that." Grandma Zhang smiled.
"No, we must do this and more. Our daughter is married to your son after all. We should have visited sooner and done our responsibility as her family." Tai Heng responded firmly.
Grandma Zhang's mouth formed an 'o' shape in surprise. This was more sincerity that they ever received from the scheming Lin's. She couldn't believe what she was witnessing with her eyes. There was no hint of deception in their words and they certainly didn't have nefarious intentions. Alix had really lucked out by forming an odd bond with grandpa Tai.
"No, the responsibility should have been ours. Our son is married to your daughter after all." Yura said.
She would gladly take the Tai's as Alix's family any day over the Lin's. In fact, if Alix woke up one morning and decided to change her name legally to Tai, she would happily escort her and ensured that she succeeded in doing so.
Zhang Bo and Zhang An were watching both sides with confusion. Was it just them that found this weird? It almost seemed as if Alix was actually a Tai and not a Lin. When they looked at Alix, it seemed like she was okay with it. She was happily basking in the affection which the Tai's were lavishing on her.
Zhang Bo secretly poked his brother and mouthed, "Is this really happening?"
Caishen raised his shoulders and shrugged. His mother was already setting a meeting for both families to meet on another date. It almost sounded like they were preparing for a wedding in reverse since he and Alix were already married.
"Oooh, Xi Xi, you didn't tell me that you are called pretty baby. You look like the spoiled only daughter of a big family right now." Grandma Zhang teased Alix.
Alix looked down, her cheeks turned pink and she covered her eyes as she smiled.
Caishen was not sure if he had ever seen Alix smiling shyly but that's what it looked like to him right now.
"This woman is actually cute," he thought. But, when would she act this way with him?
