"Aunt, what snacks are we buying today?"

While she was on the internet searching for information on how to coax her husband, Xiaobo, the greedy nephew was rubbing his belly and looking around the car for snacks.

Alix's car always had snacks which was one of the biggest reasons why he looked forward to being picked up by her after school.

Uncle Ju nodded. He knew the shop quite well, Alix always pointed it out but she never went inside because they were usually in a hurry.

"Xiaobo, what sort of things does your uncle like?" she asked him.

Xiaobo twisted his mouth, emulating Alix's earlier actions.

"Mmm, uncle likes golf."

Yeah, that won't do, Alix thought. Although, if she bought him a set of golf clubs as a gift and she said he should use them when he regained his walking skills, it could be a great gift.

"What else does he like?" she asked him.

"Fish." Xiaobo said loudly.

That was easy, she could get a fish from the game and give it to him.

She felt a hand tugging on her shirt and she looked at Xiaobo. The boy looked at her nervously, and played around with his index fingers. He looked like he had something to say but he was uncertain.

She touched his head gently and gave him an assuring smile.

"What is it little one?" she asked him.

"Aunt, we have our termly sports gathering on Saturday. Do you want to come?" he asked in a small hopeful voice.

He handed her a document which had been sent by the school for parents or guardians.

The Saturday he was talking about was the same day she was supposed to perform at madam Qian's benefit. She wanted to spend the day practicing before the benefit.

But, how could she say no to those hopeful eyes which were were looking at her like that. If she said no, he would probably be saddened.

"What about your father?" she inquired.

"He won't be back for a whole month." Xiaobo told her with a sad pout to his lips added.

"And your..." she wanted to mention the members of the Zhang family one by one but Xiaobo's hands clenched her shirt.

"Okay, let's go together." she told him. "I will invite other members of the family too."

Excited, Xiaobo clapped his hands.

They passed by the meat bun shop and bought a variety of meat buns. In addition, she bought some candied haws from a shop next door and they went home.

Caishen was not home yet so Alix went to her music room to practice for a while.

"Do you want to see the answers to your question, how to coax a husband?" her system asked.

"Why not." she replied.

It seemed, the helpful blue elf had posted the question on a relationship forum without her knowledge and people had actually replied.

Convincing herself of this fact, Alix concentrated on her playing.

The bright flash of the camera and sound of the shutter immediately made Alix open her eyes.
