Chapter 1115: 1115: The First Bell Toll

After explaining the effects of the world skill, Mistblade immediately activated it.

BS granted Mistblade permission to draw from its mana, ensuring that the skill effect would last for the next 24 hours. The snowflakes created by the Never-Melting Winter skill wouldn’t melt due to temperature changes or fire-based skills. The only drawback was the high mana consumption, but there was no time limit.

The only flaw of this world skill was that the user’s health couldn’t be connected to the world. If the user died, the skill would be interrupted. So, if it were used during a war, Mistblade would undoubtedly become a prime target.

While waiting, the four of them discussed what exactly "calibration" meant. Was it about synchronizing the time between all worlds? Why, then, during the My World game, did each world have different time flows?

Rita stopped abruptly, a sudden realization hitting her. It wasn’t that the time flow between worlds was synchronized, but rather the synchronization occurred between the worlds and the time river, and even that had minor deviations.

Just as this thought crossed her mind, her shadow at the world dock "saw" the star trail collide with the time river. In an instant, the shadow shattered.

A soul-shaking bell rang from above the world.

"DONG—!"

Immediately after, there was a violent impact.

All players could see a health bar appear above the world.

BS 3000000000/3000000000 (100%)

But the moment the health bar appeared, it started to rapidly decrease!

Even though the life force of all beings in the world was connected, BS’s health was decreasing by 1% per second.

The ground began to crack, and towering waves rose up from the sea.

BS Adjudicator: "All players, use healing skills on the ground, heal BS!"

Amid the heavy snow, Rita and the others descended onto the sea, their weapons glowing with various skills as they plunged them into the water, using all available healing skills.

A similar scene unfolded across every world.

Dawn, Tingo, Nuclear Flash, Tiger Ear, Fury, Winter Sea, Black Spring, Lania Kaia, Verdant, Yet Oranige, Marmang...

The once-dreaded Invasion Sequences had now become lifesaving chains.

But simultaneously, one world after another shattered in the blink of an eye.

This chaos lasted nearly five minutes before it subsided, leaving BS’s health at 30%.

And this was just the first bell toll.

The four Divine Game players exchanged terrified glances. Before they could discuss their feelings, a new notification sounded. This time, it was audible only to Divine Game players.

"Dear Divine Game players, in preparation for the second pendulum impact, the Invasion Sequence has been updated. If your invasion progress exceeds 30%, you will enter the final arrival stage. All crafted war tools and creation-based items will be confiscated."

"The time of Uncharted Star Sea has been initially calibrated. From now on, every 30 Starsea days will open a Divine Game. Please be alert to popup messages."

"Reminder: The second pendulum impact is expected after the next Divine Game ends."

Players:

A long silence followed.

No matter where they were or their current state, all players held their breath, waiting for the system’s next words.

"If you wish for your world to survive this catastrophe, if you wish to save Uncharted Star Sea, you must elevate your divine gifts to Starsea level before the sixth bell toll."

"Divine Game" is not a game created by gods to amuse you."

"The purpose of "Divine Game" is to create gods."

"Anger is useless. Becoming a god is the only solution."

After the turmoil ended, Rita and the other three leaders rushed out of BS, heading toward the time river. The star trail had already left the river’s surface and was slowly moving away in preparation for the next pendulum impact.

The four players crowded at the dock, staring at the star-trail-like pendulum.

Pine Bloom murmured, "A game designed to create gods..."

Crab, confused, asked, "Then why does Divine Game always have reshuffle games? I mean, every now and then there’s a high-difficulty game that makes the previous players fall behind."

All the players instinctively turned to Mistblade, the only one who had topped the ladder.

"Nothing special." Mistblade recalled that time, shaking her head as she said this, but her furrowed brow indicated that the changes now made her unable to ignore any unusual detail from that time.

After a long pause, she said hesitantly, "If I had to say something that only appeared at level 19... I occasionally dream of another version of myself. Does that count?"

The group discussed for a while but didn’t come to any conclusions. They decided to return to their respective main cities to calm their races and gather information about other worlds. The battlefield chat channel was filled with information and intel from all worlds, and everyone was now eager to share.

After a brief meeting with the leaders of each faction, Rita left. With the time now calibrated, the game panel’s time and all skill time units were now in Starsea time, and there were 12 Starsea days until the next Divine Game.

She planned to teleport to several other worlds to fetch some sub-captains and see if she could get the ship moving again. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Previously, while flying over the time river, she had passed by Nuclear Flash and Tiger Ear, and she had also passed through Dawn when Lightchaser and Ash Cinders had taken her to Isolated Isle.

She could directly teleport to these three worlds’ world docks to fetch their sub-captains.

After a quick freshen-up and changing clothes, Rita was about to summon Cat’s Ideal when a freshly polished lantern flew in front of her.

Once, it had only a small fragment of the moon, but now it was a full moon radiating moonlight.

Divine Relic: Wrathful Moon (SSS level)

The moon doesn’t belong to anyone, but occasionally, it will step into a cage.

Skill 1: Moonfall Trade (Passive): When the moon rises, players can use moonlight to replace 50% of skill costs. All skill strengths increase by 20%. This effect is passive and works as long as the lantern is with you. When this skill is used, there is a chance to generate shattered stars and moon sand.

Skill 2: No Sleep Tonight: You can’t sleep, you just can’t! Mark a target. This target will take 80% of all damage you would have received for the next 10 minutes. Each use consumes 5% mana. Cooldown: 15 minutes.

Skill 3: Temporal Stroll (Locked): You can briefly return to the past or go into the future. The time span (days) cannot exceed your level, and the duration (minutes) cannot exceed your intelligence. This skill has no cost and a cooldown of 1 hour.

Skill 4: Dark Side of the Moon: What is the moon’s opposite? Designate a target and trap them in the lantern. While inside, the target cannot use any skills. The duration depends on the strength gap between the player and the prisoner, with a maximum of 1 hour and a minimum of 5 minutes. Each use costs 5000 mana, with a 5-minute cooldown. Only one being can be imprisoned at a time.

Skill 5: Nebula Bubble: After selecting a target, create a Nebula Bubble for them. For the first 10 minutes, it will absorb all incoming damage. After 10 minutes, the damage absorbed will convert to the target’s defense value until the defense is exhausted. Casting time: 1 second. Cooldown: none. Each use costs 500 mana.

Skill 6: Wrathful Moon: This lantern only shines when the mood is right. It enjoys fairy tales.
