Chapter 1208: 1208: Divine Game, Divine Instruction 22

The news that Maple Syrup and BS Rita had their breakthrough while playing Mahjong spread like wildfire through the battle chat. Foolishness, woken from her sleep by seventeen urgent messages about training applications, stared blankly at the night sky. She thought, Why is it so hard for her to find her own direction? And why is it so difficult to ask others for their thoughts at a time like this? She’s such a stubborn mule...

She said this to the group of divine demons, but the chat fell silent for a long moment.

Boiling Orange: Sis... You were the same back then...

Ashveil: And Deceitful Bloom... the Captain... Graffiti... Drummer...

Deceitful Bloom: Don’t list them. I didn’t say a word.

Bitter Cup: I heard you got a Deceitful Bloom butt cushion?

Deceitful Bloom: Already burned it.

Foolishness: If you already burned it, why are you sealing your island?

Deceitful Bloom: I knew you were coming to steal it!

Meanwhile, the players in the chat were equally lively.

BS Pine Bloom: Maple Syrup Maple Syrup Maple Syrup, what did you two talk about??

BS Mistblade: Once we get back to BS, we’ll tie up Nivalis and make her talk to us for three days and nights.

Winter Sea Frenzied Shark: I look down on you guys, Adjudicator, I’m willing to pay for a consultation.

BS Crab: Go away.

Lania KaiaFat Goose: Master!! Look at me! I’ve been stealing milk for you at Moonlight Marsh for three years!

Verdant Verdant Whisper · Windrush: Did she find it on her own?

Dawn Cicada: Not yet. I suspect it’s hard for her to find it by herself. She’ll need someone to wake her up.

Tiger Ear Kessa: Not really. You missed it. When Fury Prayer was talking to her, all she said was, "Give you a minute, if you can’t finish, I won’t listen." Fury Prayer rambled on for a bit and ran off.

BS Pine Bloom: Maple Syrup!

Lania KaiaPeach Crown: Maple Syrup!

Lania KaiaMaple Syrup: Didn’t say much. She just said, "You and I should swap main cities. You want sunny weather all the time, but my heart goes through all four seasons."

Lania KaiaMaple Syrup: So, did you get it?

BS Pine Bloom: No...

Winter Sea Frenzied Shark: Master, are you there? I just listed my autobiography in the exchange. One review, 1 million honor points!

TingoJE: You can do that?! I’m writing one right now.

BS Rita: You could ask your worlds.

After Rita posted that, the chat speed finally slowed down.

It was her sincere advice. She didn’t think she was particularly skilled at reading people better than others with more experience, but she had written too many World Sighs and seen too many stories...

So whether it was looking at Nuclear Flash NightFury, Midsummer Kessa, or Lania KaiaMaple Syrup, she saw the entire picture.

They rebuilt worlds, betrayed them, or shattered their own worlds. No matter the outcome, they were inseparable from their worlds.

Kessa, having chased Nivalis away to sit down, asked, "So, did you ask ’BS’?"

"I’m afraid of being misled," Rita replied, then explained seriously. "I don’t think the answer I give is the correct one. It just happens to resonate with you all. It’s probably related to your abilities, so it helps you find direction."

Much like QM Rita’s demon ability Extra, which subtly connected with her divine gift First Person—she didn’t know the specific skills of First Person, so she couldn’t be sure.

They kept playing until almost morning, when class was about to start.

From then on, whether it was Rita or Dawn Cicada, each night they would explore the toy palace. They realized that many toys could only be seen by different players, or perhaps better said, were "awakened."

For example, that table. After the Mahjong game ended, Rita had told Nivalis and B80 to let her know about similar toys in the future, but when Nivalis and B80 went to check, they had never seen that three-legged table before, let alone all the World Graveyards.

The same thing happened the next day. Kessa found a magical conch in a toy workshop, called Psychological Counseling.

When a player asked the conch any question, it would send that question to a deity interested in it. The deity would respond with a chance of giving an answer, and the conch would bring it back.

Kessa found this conch in a place familiar to Rita, right beside Foolishness’ Game. Rita was sure she hadn’t seen it before.

When she asked Nivalis and B80, they said they hadn’t even seen Foolishness’ Game.

Kessa held the conch and said, "This is the kind of function I’ve been hoping for." She turned to Rita.

Rita replied, "Dustfire’s Old Dining Table is what I want."

When she touched the old dining table, her first thought was, if only she had such a table, she could place all the World Graveyards she had collected on it and see the echoes of different worlds, and the regrets of Uncharted Star Sea.

On the eleventh day of the game, they realized the true marvel of the toy palace.

No more solo study—now, they began to explore the palace seriously. Unlike their casual strolls on the first night, they picked up every toy they saw.

The next morning, before Foolishness arrived in class, she heard the excited chatter.

Each player’s desk was filled with various toys. The empty space in the back of the classroom was stacked with more than a dozen large items that the students had brought back to share and discuss.

Foolishness’ gaze lingered on Dustfire’s Old Dining Table for a moment. She didn’t enter but stood at the door, saying, "Let’s go, it’s training time."

Rita, holding a pen and explaining this toy to Dawn Cicada, was suddenly cut off by her, as if a hand had squeezed her throat. She turned her head, surprised, "Another training? Are we going to Deceitful Bloom’s?"

"Yes," Foolishness frowned, tilting her head slightly. "Didn’t I tell you?"

"...No!" Rita’s pupils trembled. She distinctly remembered that when they had been training before, Deceitful Bloom had asked Foolishness if she wanted to continue training, and Foolishness had directly refused. Otherwise, why would she leave behind a butt cushion?!

She grabbed her pen and stood up, not willing to give up. "When Deceitful Bloom offered the training, didn’t you refuse?"

Foolishness nodded, a small smile curling her lips as she spoke in the same unfluctuating tone as usual, "Oh, that was to trick you. I just wanted to see if you’d do something monumentally stupid."

Rita: "..."
