Chapter 1214: 1214: Divine Game, Divine Instruction 28

Rita and Dawn Cicada silently worked to rectify their earlier mistakes.

After watching them for a moment, Deceitful Bloom left, instructing the other players not to assist them.

Dawn Cicada quietly mocked, "Weren’t you acting so tough before?"

Rita, with a calm expression, replied, "When you’re strong, you live like a strong person, and when you’re restricted, you live like someone who’s restricted."

"..." Dawn Cicada’s expression twisted slightly. How could someone make being "cowardly" sound so fresh and elegant?

Rita suddenly stopped what she was doing and blew up a balloon, handing it to Dawn Cicada. "Here, for you."

Dawn Cicada stared blankly at the balloon in her hands, reading its information — [Doormat Balloon].

Looking at BS Rita, Dawn Cicada noticed her blowing the balloon happily, popping each one into a gacha machine.

Seeing Dawn Cicada’s gaze, Rita cheerfully said, "This skill hasn’t been used successfully in ages."

Dawn Cicada dryly commented, "You’re really optimistic."

Rita didn’t mind the sarcasm and proudly replied, "That’s just how we BS folks are."

She sat cross-legged on the ground, a mountain of white petals before her. She picked up a soft brush and began patiently outlining the repair magic patterns on each petal. Beside her lay the manual for [Flower Crown Murder].

It wasn’t exactly wasting time. While some parts had been erased by Deceitful Bloom, the majority of the content on the flower’s habits and characteristics remained. There were still areas she hadn’t explored.

Her growth had been too fast. When "My World" ended, she barely had time to study her Vine. Even in Quiet Mountain, she mostly used it as a weapon, discovering its use through real battles. But in essence, she hadn’t truly understood this flower.

She was teaching herself again.

This realization hit her with intense clarity.

She was trying to tame herself.

This recognition was sharp and clear.

Her actions and choices had always been filled with uncertainty and mystery, with truth and lies intertwined, impossible to deduce, yet she still managed to give away what was in her heart. As long as you softened and let her guide you for a while, you would find that was just what she allowed you to see.

Out of the corner of her eye, Rita glanced at Dawn Cicada, who seemed to have a similar understanding.

Deceitful Bloom was still giving special care to the Vineborne.

Rita came back to her senses and continued handling the petals in front of her.

The island grew quieter. It was unclear who started to become restless, but when Rita casually glanced at the others, she locked eyes with several of them.

Mistblade lowered her voice. "Want to go play?"

Rita whispered, "What’s there to do here? Foolishness has a Mahjong table where you can see old players’ battles from Uncharted Star Sea, but you only get to see a few seconds of it."

Mistblade’s voice dropped even further. "Here, there’s a flower that can show you what the previous owners of items, equipment, and even skills looked like."

Rita immediately tossed the petal in her hand and used her teleportation skill to appear beside Mistblade, mouthing, "Where?"

"Where?"

Rita glared at Dawn Cicada, who had followed her and elbowed her away. Dawn Cicada elbowed back.

The two of them nudged each other with their elbows, but they didn’t interrupt Mistblade.

Mistblade stood up and led them in a specific direction. On Flower Island, Deceitful Bloom could not have been unaware of the happenings. If Deceitful Bloom didn’t allow it, they wouldn’t even get the chance to see that flower.

As they walked, Mistblade turned around to see that everyone had followed, including Sea Pony, Nivalis, and B80.

Mistblade said, "Be quiet..."

Beneath Starsea, a group of players, each with varying forms—Vines, tails, wings, crabs, whales, gemstone eyes, and one perfect weather—slowly entered the flower field. Two players even carried a comically large balloon.

Deceitful Bloom sat sideways on a windowsill, quietly staring at the players’ backs.

A cup of flower wine was handed to her, and Foolishness remarked, "Do you know what game I hate the most after the bell tolls?"

"Divine Instruction." Deceitful Bloom answered, which was the common answer among most gods.

"Right, Divine Instruction," Foolishness said. "That’s the worst part of Uncharted Star Sea—it always manages to make people hate it without them feeling fully satisfied.

"After The Bell Tolls, all the grudges and grievances were already tangled. After Quiet Mountain, everyone was forced into an alliance.

But that’s not enough. It forces everyone into the same game, to learn and fool around together, becoming almost half-friends..."

"It’s as if it’s afraid that when someone dies in the next bell, no one will care, worried that years later, no one will remember them..."

"So it drags everyone down with it," Deceitful Bloom added, completing the sentence.

Foolishness looked at the players in the distance starting to have fun, repeating softly, "So it drags everyone down with it. If anyone happens to survive, they’ll be the ones responsible for remembering the souls that perished."

Deceitful Bloom raised her glass and clinked it with Foolishness’s.

The next morning, when Deceitful Bloom and Foolishness arrived at the classroom, BS Rita and Dawn Cicada had already repaired most of the flowers and the flower field that had been damaged earlier.

They had played around on Flower Island until it was almost dawn, and the flowers were completely restored with the help of other players. However, Deceitful Bloom did not mention this.

When the training started, the players in Foolishness’s group appeared somewhat distracted. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Foolishness said, "Don’t slack off. You’re currently the strongest group in Uncharted Star Sea. If you defeat other players by just relying on your stats, then you need to start worrying about your position."

All the students looked up at her, and Foolishness explained further, "Attributes have an upper limit. They’re the cheapest resource. Uncharted Star Sea can grant you stats just like it can grant you talents. As long as you can prove your potential and value, Uncharted Star Sea will help you make up for the gap caused by time."

After hearing this, the students clearly became more serious.

Today’s reward was the same as yesterday’s, but with a higher difficulty. The player who fused the highest-level skill would receive a reward at the end of the combined training session.

Rita thought it over, and taking into account her abilities and the cooldown time of her skills, she decided to fuse the S-level [Top Chef? Top Chef!] and the SS-level [Cured But Salivating].
