Chapter 909: Chapter 438 Law of Order
Seeing that the Undead army had successfully prevented the barrier from closing, Caesar did not immediately walk through the entrance. Instead, he turned his head back to gaze at the towering high tower in the center of the Oasis.
The Lighthouse, the core of this God Realm, was where the Lamp God had once built his chamber, and it was also where the Pen of Order was hidden.
Caesar knew very well that someone dared to bring the Divine Lamp here and preferred to release him in order to break into this place, their purpose must be the Divine Pen in the Lighthouse!
This was a Divine Artifact that he had been guarding for thousands of years, yet never obtained. How could he let others get it first?
Caesar hastily moved the Titan’s body, swiftly heading towards the Lighthouse.
Elsewhere in the Oasis, within a certain cave.
Little Bingbing was confined in this somewhat damp and gloomy cave, curled up in a corner, motionless. A transparent barrier covered the entrance to the cave, blocking any chance of escape.
Outside the cave, a bead-covered stone frog lay on a Green Stone, its cheeks puffing in and out, emitting low croaks while resting with its eyes closed. Both frogs slept separately, not disturbing each other.
That was until, at a certain moment, the pretense of sleep was broken by Little Bingbing, who suddenly opened her eyes and leaped to the barrier at the cave entrance, anxiously looking out.
Just now, she had suddenly sensed the presence of the Magic Fungal Spore Pouch, an item her father had once owned, which later fell into Pocket Toad’s mouth.
This meant that Pocket Toad had come here!
As Little Bingbing moved, the stone frog on the Green Stone outside the cave also immediately opened its eyes.
Seeing the usually aloof Little Bingbing now at the cave’s entrance, with an anxious look on her face, the stone frog’s eyes lit up, hurriedly hopping to the front of the cave, eagerly saying, "Little Bingbing, are you hungry? I have some fresh food for you!"
With that, the stone frog opened its mouth wide, spitting out a bunch of creatures such as dragonflies and grasshoppers, curling them with its tongue into the barrier.
"Go on, eat. They were all caught today, guaranteed fresh!" the stone frog said, looking to please Little Bingbing.
Little Bingbing, however, looked at the pile of insects coated with slime on the ground with a look of utter disdain. The reason she had been fasting here wasn’t actually a desire for a martyr’s death, but purely because the food offered by this fellow was spewed out right in front of her, which was disgustingly gross. Who could eat that?
Seeing Little Bingbing remain indifferent, the stone frog opened its mouth to say something when it suddenly heard the Titan’s roar from afar, causing it to start.
"Not good, my master is calling for me... Sorry, Little Bingbing, I have to leave for a bit!" said the stone frog. Upon finishing, it immediately turned to hop away.
Little Bingbing in the cave spoke up hurriedly, "Wait! Let me out, I want to go too!"
"Ribbit?"
The stone frog turned back, shocked to look at Little Bingbing, somewhat disbelieving its ears, then ecstatically said, "Little Bingbing, have you finally come to your senses and are willing to accept me?"
"Buzz off! My husband is here, and I want to see my husband!" Little Bingbing cursed, holding nothing back.
"What?"
The stone frog’s eyes bulged at the word ’husband,’ as if an arrow had suddenly pierced its petrified heart, causing a wrenching pain. The frog’s skin visibly reddened with rage, "Fine, then I’ll kill it in front of you, so you’ll give up hope!"
"You dare!" Little Bingbing also furiously bared its teeth at the frog, "If you dare kill him, I’ll kill myself!"
"Little Bingbing, you... would actually sacrifice yourself for another frog?" the stone frog clutched at its chest, feeling its stone heart pierced once more, in agonizing pain.
"So you might as well give up. Keeping me imprisoned won’t work no matter how long, a forced melon isn’t sweet, it’s impossible between us!" Little Bingbing huffed.
It was another crushing blow, and the stone frog rolled on the ground even more dramatically, clutching its chest.
After a moment, the stone frog calmed down, stood up again, and looked at Little Bingbing with a dark look. It waved its right claw, and the barrier in front of the cave instantly dissipated.
"Fine, I will prove to you that I am better than any frog! I will use my actions to make you change your mind!"
Having said that, the stone frog no longer cared about Little Bingbing’s reaction and turned to hop toward the direction of the Lighthouse.
Little Bingbing, still stunned by the unexpectedly open barrier, could hardly believe she had been so easily released.
Looking at the rapidly disappearing figure of the stone frog, Little Bingbing hesitated for a moment, but still hurriedly followed it.
...
Meanwhile, Mu You had already arrived first at the foot of the Lighthouse, and under the guidance of the Bard, had successfully used the Divine Lamp to open the stone doors at the base of the tower.
After the barrier of the Realm of Lamp God had opened, Mu You had covertly instructed Cola to meddle a bit, turning Caesar, who appeared inside the entrance, into a moving "teaser stick."
It is well known that no cat can resist the temptation of a teaser stick, so once the entrance opened, a horde of cats immediately scrambled and pounced on Caesar.
Mu You took advantage of this lapse in Caesar’s composure and made his move to sneak in. Following the Bard’s guidance, he arrived at the Lighthouse in record speed.
"Rumble rumble..."
As the two stone doors in front trembled and parted to each side, a dark and profound entrance was revealed before Mu You.
Cola trotted up to the stone doorway, peering cautiously inside before retreating hastily to Mu You’s side, heart still racing as he said, "Mu You, are we really going in? It’s pitch-black in there, just like a haunted house, definitely something fishy!"
