This Young Master is not Cannon Fodder-Chapter 578: All Pantheons Conference
There was no scene of a guest displeased at the host’s arrangement and finding trouble. All the delegations peacefully enjoyed the banquet. Perhaps there was some displeasure—at least Tianyi sensed some malicious gazes—but none of them brought conflict to the forefront.
Now that the banquet had started, Tianyi noticed that the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System’s delegation sat near the front. Its status was only inferior to the delegation with two divinities present, but he didn’t think it was weird.
The Olympians weren’t stupid. For the Concealed Emperor to appear inside the abode allotted to the Immortal Court’s delegation, it was obvious that they possessed some sort of teleportation that could bypass the resistance of the True Nothingness. Of course, the Concealed Emperor could also have hidden himself in some sort of treasure, but the Olympians didn’t think it was likely.
What would be the point?
To give the illusion that they could teleport across the True Nothingness? Such a lie would be meaningless and swiftly exposed. The short-term gains would not be worth the long-term loss or destroyed trust.
If the Immortal Court really could teleport, then it would become a core strategic trump card for the budding alliance. Although each force had their own method of traveling through the True Nothingness, the time was often long. It was why Hyllus traveled to the systems with no known divinities first before going to locations like the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System. Compared to the few thousand years Tianyi took, they needed at least tens of thousands of years.
Once the alliance could use the teleportation method, it would eliminate many of the downsides of traveling through the True Nothingness. Even if the Immortal Court did not become the leader of the alliance, it would hold an irreplaceable position, one which they could take advantage of.
Of course, if the alliance or other systems could steal the technique, they would not hesitate to do so, but it was highly unlikely. Tianyi was a unique existence, comparable to the Almighty. Unless a second Almighty appeared, it was unlikely for them to replicate Tianyi’s cross universe teleportation.
Their only way of obtaining it was to lure Tianyi to defect, but since the Immortal Court planned on revealing Tianyi’s ability, they naturally had the confidence to keep him. Though, that didn’t mean they weren’t on guard against it.
However, that was for the future. Right now, Tianyi was looking at his wine cup with interest. This was the wine Hyllus mentioned that could make all other wines taste like horse piss. After tasting it, Tianyi had to agree. Even someone who was not an avid alcohol lover couldn’t stop drinking it.
The alcohol was called Ambrosia Wine, or nectar of the gods. Generally, Ambrosia referred to the food of the divine, said to grant immortality. In reality, it only contained a vast amount of vitality that extended a mortal’s lifespan. It was also gentle, so the eater didn’t have to worry about exploding from all the energy.
However, it was only effective in the Herakles system and other systems with similar rules. If taken back to the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System, the thirty-six hundred year lifespan limit would severely limit the effect of Ambrosia.
It didn’t stop Tianyi from eating with relish. He even snuck some back into the Primordial Realm for Mengfei and Daoyi to try. Of course he wasn’t blatant. To others, it looked like he was gobbling the food down, but Tianyi was actually teleporting the food the moment they passed his lips, so they didn’t touch his tongue or mouth at all.
Thus, the divine banquet came to an end on the sixth day.
Naturally, the various delegations wouldn’t end with just a banquet. It was just the start.
It was still in the Pantheon Temple, except all the entertainment and food were absent. The guests also put away their jovial expressions and switched to their solemn faces. Even the seemingly careless Herakles exuded a serious aura. However, the meeting was started by him.
The All Pantheon Conference had begun.
“Hey, hey,” Thor said, smacking the table. “Why can you sit so close to Herakles? If you were someone who fought the devils during the Godsfall War, I can accept it, but you are an unknown divinity. So, what right do you have to sit so close?”
The Concealed Emperor didn’t get angry. He was like a patient elder explaining to a noisy child. “My title is Jadelight. As for why we can sit close to the front, I guess it’s because of a little ability we have.”
Not only Thor, but the Sūryaḥ Buddha and other divinities also listened closely. Many of them had the same thoughts as Thor, but they didn’t want to lead the charge. Thor asked, “What is it?”
“It’s just the ability to cross the True Nothingness with teleportation,” the Concealed Emperor said. His words were light, as if the ability was inconsequential, but it stirred up waves in everyone’s heart.
“What a wonderful ability. Since Daoist Jadelight revealed it, you must be willing to share it with everyone in order to deal with the devils, right?” At the Sūryaḥ Buddha’s words, all the divinities glanced at the Immortal Court delegation. Although none of them specifically pressured them, the immortals still felt something heavy pressing down on them, as if to crush them into a paste.
Even Tianyi was affected. He could already imagine what would happen next once the Concealed Emperor spoke again.
“It’s not a secret technique or method. I’m embarrassed to say, but even the Immortal Court can only rely on one person to do this.” The Concealed Emperor gestured to Tianyi. “After all, our Nine Heavens Grand Elder inherited the power of the Almighty the most out of all his children.”
The divinities present turned their focus onto Tianyi. Some even strategized to kidnap and control him on the spot.

As if ignorant of their intent, the Concealed Emperor continued to speak. “But the technique has a flaw. A clone of the Nine Heavens Grand Elder must be present.”
At the mention of clones, the surging hearts of many divinities cooled down. Clone methods weren’t the same in all systems. For some, it was something closer to a puppet, while in others, any one clone could be the original as needed.
“I want to know how many clones your demigod has,” a divinity asked. “If it’s only two, it’s not worth much.”
That was a lie. Although the value would be drastically reduced, it was still a strategic trump card.
“I’m actually not clear,” the Concealed Emperor said. He looked at Tianyi. “Nine Heavens Grand Elder, how about enlightening us?”
Tianyi coughed into his fist. He had already prepared for the question, since he and the Concealed Emperor had already discussed it beforehand. However, when he was at the center of attention of so many divinities, he was still nervous despite his thousands of years of age. “Theoretically, the number of clones I can have is limitless.”
His words sent a ripple through the conference.
“Theoretically?” Tenochtitlan asked.
“I have a thousand clones.” Technically, Tianyi called them conduits, but semantics. “I feel that I can still create more, but after a certain number, the clones will be extremely weak. In general terms, they will not be able to reach the level of a demigod.”
That was also a lie, at least in the True Nothingness. Without the suppression of the Heavenly Dao, all his clones could have the power of a level three conduit. He didn’t know about other systems, but he was also suppressed in the Herakles System, just not as much as in the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System.
“Can any one of your clones become the true body at any time?”
Tianyi nodded.
Many of divinities’ secret thoughts stilled. If that were the case, it would be hard to kidnap Tianyi. They couldn’t help but glance at the Concealed Emperor in envy.
Of course, they also knew about the children of the Almighty. They had some in their own systems. Unlike the denizens of their systems, children of the Almighty could grow to the level of a demigod given enough time. They could even accept blood transfusion to become acquired demigods, instead of innate demigods, those born as demigods upon birth. The great majority of the children of the Almighty naturally couldn’t reach that level alone, but it was the fact that they had extremely high potential and seemingly no limits.
The gods with powerful domination or soul skills had a chance of controlling Tianyi through his soul. Though, only a chance. Generally, only those with powerful souls could have many clones. There was an absolutely certain correlation between the two. The divinities only know of other divinities who could have a thousand clones.
No divinities with powerful soul methods were present at the All Pantheon Conference. It was a precaution in case Herakles’ invitation was a trap. Soul divinities didn’t represent themselves, they represented a sizable force. Most soul divinities had powerful subordinates, like peak demigods, or possibly other divinities. If they perished, it would be a huge loss.
But because of this, many delegations felt regretful, but only for a moment. With so many divinities present, it was likely anyone who struck would become the public target of criticism. Since hard methods couldn’t work, they could try soft methods.
“What an amazing demigod,” Tenochtitlan praised. “How about it? Are you married?”
“Ah?” Tianyi blinked. He was surprised by the sudden change in question, so he answered on reflex. “Yes, I have a wife.”
A flash of pity appeared in Tenochtitlan’s eyes, but only for a moment. “I have a descendent. She is the most beautiful woman in the system except for divinities. How about you take her as your second wife? She’s a virgin.”
Before Tianyi could answer, the other divinities spoke.
“Hmpf, do you think only your system has beautiful women, Lord Tenochtitlan?” Sir Galahad said. “Sir Nine Heavens, our Avalon System has the fairest ladies of them all. How about coming to our system and choosing one to woo?”
“Nonsense!” Thor said, slapping the table in front of him. “Fair ladies, beauties? How good can those women be? Listen, kid. Women not only need beauty, but they have to be strong too! And the women of the Thorson System are the strongest! As long as you come and can knock them down, you take as many as you want!”
More and more offers arrived, causing Tianyi to be speechless. He didn’t know how to answer, so he could only look at the Concealed Emperor. In turn, the Concealed Emperor turned toward Herakles.
“Alright,” Herakles spoke, calming the fervent air. “Although Nine Heavens’s teleportation ability is amazing, we have not even started the main point of the conference yet. I believe everyone who is here is willing to form an alliance against the devils. Through this alliance, we will also be able to exchange resources not present in our systems for those present in others.”
All the delegation nodded and they no longer bothered Tianyi. It didn’t mean they forgot. They were just holding back for the time being.
Herakles spoke first, listing the structure of the alliance he had thought of ahead of time. After finishing, he asked the other delegations for their opinions. The opinion of the delegations with divinities would take greater weight, while those without divinities would not be taken too seriously. It was only natural.
After hammering out most of the details, Herakles moved onto the next topic. “I’m sure that everyone knows that although this is an alliance composed of many systems, it must have a leader. However, a leader cannot only be strong, he must have a sense of responsibility.”
Every delegation agreed with this statement.
“I would love nothing more than to test everyone’s skill here, but the divinities present are not representative of each system’s strength. Aside from myself, only God King Thor is also the leader of his pantheon, so the competition between god kings will be delayed. All those delegations with divinities present have already cleared the first prerequisite,” Herakles said.
“If a divinity from the system doesn’t even dare to show his face here, how can they convince others?” Once again, the delegation nodded, acquiescing to Herakles’s words. The delegations without divinities present may not be devoid of divinities, but whether for safety or because they only have one, they only sent envoys. Conversely, some delegations only had a single divinity, but they still chose to come.
“As for the second requirement, we will hold a hunting competition,” Herakles said. “Only those in the top ten will be eligible to compete for the position of alliance leader. Contributions and kills will be attributed to each system, and then the divinities of those systems will elect someone to fight the other competitors.”
Herakles wasn’t done. “The hunting grounds will not be the Nine Hells Abyss. Although the devils have not reached the peak of their heyday, blindly invading the Nine Hells Abyss without an alliance leader is unwise. So, I want to ask everyone if any of you have a good hunting ground. The devils must be prolific and can’t be too weak.”
Many delegations spoke out. Some even offered their own systems. Although the devils have not encroached many systems, there were some already waging wars against the devils.
“I don’t mind saving your systems, but once we choose those systems as a hunting ground, the divinities of the systems are no longer eligible to become the alliance leader.” Once Herakles said these words, many delegations turned silent.
“Our Nahui Ollin System is willing to host the hunting grounds,” Tenochtitlan said. “To be honest, the devils have already conquered much of our lands. Were it not for this conference, our defeat would only be a matter of time, so we care not for the position of alliance leader.”
