Chapter 1715: Chapter 1715: Indifferent Attitude

Now Leon Battleson has acquired the subsidiary company.

He holds the company’s equity, and will certainly appear at the board meeting.

"Sister-in-law, we meet again."

Leon Battleson was seen leisurely leaning against the corridor wall, smiling as Charlotte Thompson walked over.

When she looked up and met Leon Battleson’s gaze, Charlotte chose not to respond, simply took the files from Coco’s hand, and prepared to step into the meeting room.

Seeing Charlotte ignore him like this, Leon Battleson seemed agitated, furrowing his brow slightly and shifting to block Charlotte’s path.

"Mr. Battleson, is there something you need?" 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Charlotte gazed calmly at Leon Battleson in front of her, but in her heart, she was already feeling somewhat disgusted by his move to block her way.

Upon reflection, she truly felt unfortunate for frequently running into Leon Battleson.

Though her displeasure didn’t show on her face, Charlotte had already quickly distanced herself from Leon Battleson.

"If there’s nothing, can’t I just chat with you?"

Leon Battleson looked at Charlotte with his arms crossed, but no matter what he said, Charlotte only responded with rejection.

"I’m sorry, Mr. Battleson, but we don’t seem to know each other well, so I don’t think I have anything to chat with you about."

With that, Charlotte turned her head to look down the corridor, then softly spoke:

"The board meeting is about to start, if Mr. Battleson doesn’t intend to participate, you are welcome to leave."

"Sister-in-law, your cold attitude is truly a little hurtful." Leon Battleson shook his head and sighed as he spoke, just as Charlotte was about to walk past him.

"Now, how much control do you think Justin Battleson has over the company?"

Leon Battleson’s words made Charlotte pause, and she turned to look at him with a hint of confusion in her eyes.

"What do you mean by that? Justin Battleson is the company’s CEO. How much control do you think he has over the company?"

However, Charlotte’s response only elicited a light chuckle from Leon Battleson.

He pressed his fist to his lips, stifling the smile that crept up from the corners of his mouth.

Then, Leon Battleson looked up and saw Justin Battleson walking towards the meeting room, and deliberately leaned closer to Charlotte, ignoring her attempts to avoid him, and said beside her:

"It might not be long before this company has nothing to do with Justin Battleson."

With those words, Leon Battleson turned into the meeting room.

Charlotte furrowed her brow and, upon hearing the footsteps, turned her head to meet the gaze of Justin Battleson, who had stopped beside her.

The two of them didn’t speak but by looking at each other, they already knew what was on each other’s mind with a tacit understanding.

Charlotte nodded towards Justin Battleson, and then they entered the meeting room together.

Charlotte had just been standing at the door of the meeting room, so as Leon Battleson walked in, she naturally heard the sounds from inside.

Unexpectedly, Leon Battleson had already built strong rapport with many of the company’s shareholders.

It was very clear that Leon Battleson had likely been working on this for some time.

However, once Justin Battleson and Charlotte entered the meeting room, the previously idle chatter instantly disappeared, and the room fell silent.

"Today’s board meeting is about the group’s..."

However, before Justin Battleson could finish his sentence, Leon Battleson interrupted him directly.
