Izzy and KiRA worked till night taking interviews and finishing the work after their selection.

In total, they chose 100 Combat players, 50 Administration people, and 36 Lifestyle players. Of the 136 people for the Player positions that were chosen, not all of them were players. Many were simple people that KiRA had convinced the others were better in the player positions instead of the administration.

They were skilled as well. And while some of them were put into the lifestyle player’s lists, many were put into combat teams temporarily.

The people who didn’t understand how they could contribute to the player parties still took the job or considered working for them positively.

The offers that they were receiving weren’t something anyone else was going to pay them in this city anyway so even though the whole deal looked shady at first glance, many of them put their trust in this guild.

Some did it out of pressure and the intimidating presence of the interviewer, while many did it simply because they found the conditions to be attractive.

"Well, it surely wasn’t easy." They didn’t take in just anyone unless they had skills as a lifestyle player.

They were very picky about the admins as well as the ones they were choosing as the combat players.

They didn’t have unlimited resources even though they were pretty comfortable compared to many other small guilds. They didn’t want to splurge the resources on people that might not prove to be efficient and useful.

"You worked pretty hard. Good work, Miss Guildmaster." He massaged her head as he sat behind her with her on his lap.

The two were still in the office while their parents had already gone home. They were alone here, so they were having some fun."

KiRA didn’t just want anyone for the administrative positions within the guild. He chose people based on their profiles, their potential, how much he could work them– milk them as Izzy put it– and based their potential awakening skills.

Player awakening was a unique process. It was primarily random, but all individuals and even special creatures sensitive to Mana possessed Skills.

While not well known, there were methods and devices one could use to awaken a non-player and help them sync with the tower’s system.

’Though not now, we will be able to awaken the non-players pretty soon.’

After the 10th floor, once he gets a class and an upgrade to his Authority, he will be able to use the awakening items and help all the non-player individuals he had chosen with their awakening.

And even if he does not do that if they were lucky, those with good skills were more likely to awaken as players.

KiRA would still look through the bunch that were applying but this was their limit for the time being.

They couldn’t bring in more people before earning new money and gathering more resources to spare.

"Haaa... but now that we’re done with this, we’ll be going into the tower starting tomorrow-." Izzy wanted to go to the tower, on the 3rd floor.

"Oh, no no. Miss Guildmaster will have to stay behind and finish the work for the next few days. You’re not going to be free unless your ’good’ vice guildmaster finishes his training and knows what to do." But he reminded her of her duties.

As the guildmaster, there was a lot more she needed to do here.

Once she was done with the admin training, she needed to give the lifestyle players to their parents for training, to their Mothers to be specific, and after that’s done, Izzy will have to train the new combat players as well.

"I really don’t want to be the guildmaster, uhn uhn uhn." She wanted to cry, she made crying noises but no tears came out.

"I know, I know. You don’t have to force yourself, Iz. You can just leave it to us if you want. You know I don’t mind doing the work for you... Mister Phil will be able to do everything on his own once he’s ready as well." He hugged her from behind to calm her a little more.

She didn’t really mind being the Guildleader. She was helping him this way so she was happy to do this even though it was difficult.

It wasn’t as arduous as the training her parents put her through anyway so she was happy to be of help.

"I’m going to need good pay for doing all of this, alright?" She was helping him with all this, being the face of the guild and stuff so she expected him to reward her appropriately as well.

"Most definitely, M’lady." He knew the drill. Keeping her happy means keeping the plans flowing.

She was undoubtedly a great help with a lot of things here and if the guild runs well, the business that he was planning would run well in the future as well.

"So, I will be going back into the tower tomorrow." He would be returning to the tower all by himself, which worried her quite a bit.

"There’s still a little over a week left for the blessing, Kai. Will you be alright?"

The blessing from the Master of Lust was still attached to him so the chances of him falling into the <Carnal Overflow> state were still there.

She knew once he went to the 3rd floor, he wouldn’t return for more than a few days and in those few days, within the tower’s accelerated time, the Carnality would keep growing.

"I know you won’t fall for the desires, but I’m just worried. How about I come with you for the time being? Being away for a day or two won’t be a problem, right?

Besides, Mom and others can take care of the rest of the things here."

She was worried about him. It wasn’t just about his well-being at that point. She knew the lengths that those higher beings go to... if the Master of Lust really wanted to, they would have him.

The Laws were the only thing that prevented them from having their way, but then again, that was the limits of her knowledge.

KiRA wanted to insist that she stayed here to at least train Mister Phil, but they would have to postpone it, it seemed.

"Yes! I promise I’ll be back as soon as we finish the 70th night!" She wasn’t excited about what they would do that night.
