He broke off and sighed.

"Our, not my but our mind, our mouth, our everything. Dude, chill, she knows it’s the two of us in here." He winced and shook his head. He said to her, "See, what i have to deal with. He interrupts when i am talking and shares his opinions, necessary or not."

Scarlet nodded. It was definitely like when she and Severus talked inside her mind only that her partner was a hound who didn’t live within her.

"He plans to go to sleep by the way. Apparently he is in need of a break." Esong shared with her. "He has been sticking around because he wanted to ensure that we make up."

Scarlet frowned a little, expressing unhappiness. They had only just met, and all three of them needed to iron out more wrinkles in the relationship. If he went to sleep now, wouldn’t they run into more hiccups years later? She uncrossed her legs and floating to one of the exit ends of the bath.

She wrapped a towel around herself and turned to Esong that was following her, handing him a thick grey cotton towel as she asked, "How long does he plan to sleep and when does he start?"

"He doesn’t know yet." Esong replied.

"Can he wait? She asked, "We really need to bond first, all of us. The children too, if he goes away then they won’t know about him as they grow. We have four warrior reapers on our hands and he is the strongest warrior reaper in the underworld. I thought this would be an advantage for them, being trained by the best of the best, especially Freyja.

She is kopuko Esong, just like me. I can teach her all i know about the flame but she will need rearing in. The power of the flame is very strong, for me, it takes strength not to simply refine all souls, good or evil."

Esong was thinking about his youngest and smallest child while she was talking. Between her and Black, who was actually stronger then? Had the old goddess of fate been wrong in her prophecy?

He could foresee many battles in future taking place between the youngest and the oldest as they would be eager to prove who was stronger.

In the meantime, Scarlet’s mind had moved on from Nyx’s sleeping decision. It wasn’t hers to make at the end of the day. She had no idea how he had lived for thousands of years. If he needed the rest, it was probably for a good reason so she would not stand in his way.

What she could do was create as many good memories as possible for all of them.

"Let’s go and fly around the city. I have not flown around leisurely since i got my wings."

She snapped her fingers and changed into a green bodysuit. Esong snapped his fingers as well and changed into a black and red outfit.

He followed her to the nearest window while asking, "How did you get your wings by the way?"

"I don’t know that too." she told him earnestly. It was either a change brought on by the pregnancy or her Kopuko ability. She had never looked into it. "All i know is that i am happy to have the ability to fly."

She dove out of the window and he followed suit. With a loud shout, she took to the skies with excitement in her voice.

Night had fallen and the stars were out. The city was covered in beautiful lights which spread out for hundreds of lights. From a distance, she could be the reflections of dancing lights from one of the most famous clubs in the empire, club Z. It was another entertainment venue owned by a succubus, the third on the Blue star.

Because she was looking at it, she ended up flying in it’s direction.

"Do you want to go dancing again?" Esong asked her.

His voice came from right below her and she looked down. He was flying belly up, while looking at her and matching her pace perfectly.

A smile formed on her face, flying upside down was not a thing she had ever thought about. Quickly, she flipped onto her back but found herself falling much faster than she could steady herself.

Esong caught her in his arms and turned her back the right way. "This takes time to learn, at least two weeks of training."

"Unless i use my powers to control my body." she said.

"Now where is the fun in that?" he asked her. He laughed and flew above her abruptly, disappearing into the darkness.

She stopped and hovered in the air, searching for him. Her eyes located him as he had not gone far from her. He was moving in the air as if he was walking down the stairs.

"How is this, is it cool?" he asked.

There was a big foolish smile on his face and she couldn’t decide if this was a Nyx thing or an Esong one.

"Look, i can do the moonwalk too." he bragged.

Scarlet threw her head back and laughed at his silly antics. Moonwalking in the air was not a thing she thought she would ever see or hear of.

"How scared do you think the people down there will be if we make ourselves visible and do silly things like this?" he asked while laughing.

He had abandoned the moonwalk but he was jiggling his chest from side to side, looking ridiculous.

Scarlet covered her eyes and mumbled, "This is so embarrassing."

He heard her but he didn’t stop and he didn’t mind if it was embarrassing. All he cared about was that he was making her laugh and she was smiling. He had promised himself that he would bring her joy and return the smile to her face when he returned.

He had a long way to go, but he would keep the promise, even if it meant looking like a fool occasionally.

"Scar, hey, look, i am twerking." He put his hands on his knees and proceeded to do the most awkward twerk she had ever seen.

Twerking was not even a dance move seen on the Sun star. He had probably picked it up along the way on one of the other worlds he had passed through.

Of course, she had forgotten that she had danced like that a time or two when they were dancing in private. If he had learned it from anywhere, it was from her.

Scarlet laughed loudly and she flew away from him. He had to be stopped from botching these iconic dance moves.

He went after her while shouting, "Wait, Susu, let’s do the eagle mating ritual."

"Do i look like an eagle?" she shouted back.

"But it’s romantic..." he replied.

Scarlet increased her speed, hoping that no deity was watching because they were surely making fools of themselves.
