Transmigration; Married to My Ex-Fiancé's Uncle-Chapter 145; Night out (k)
Shuyin laughed, bright and delighted, throwing an arm briefly around his neck for balance.
"Mnnhhh.. Not bad," she proclaimed loudly. "You might actually be useful."
She tapped his chest like she was dismissing a loyal pet and walked away before he could recover.
He was left standing there, red-faced, stunned, and completely confused about whether he should feel honored or humiliated.
Blade nearly collapsed from laughter when Shuyin returned. "Oh.... my.... my.... did you just...."
"What?" Shuyin sipped her drink, innocent as sin. "Quality control. We verify before we buy. Don’t you know that?"
"You’re insane," Razor gasped.
"I’m thorough, in examining products." Shuyin corrected primly.
Shuyin drifted deeper into the center of the club like a glittering disaster wrapped in silk and perfume. The lights caught in her hair, casting iridescent highlights across her face, so mesmerizing that even sober patrons couldn’t look away.
She stopped in front of a tall, handsome man in a designer suit. He smiled at her, confidence dripping from every pore.
Too much confidence.
Shuyin’s unfocused eyes narrowed suspiciously.
"Handsome guy..." She poked his chest with one finger. "You have... too much confidence. Suspicious!"
His friends laughed awkwardly, unsure if this was entertainment or danger.
"I’m just being friendly....." he began.
"Liar!" Shuyin declared, leaning in until their noses almost touched. "You cheated three days ago. The balcony at Riviera Hotel. That wasn’t your girlfriend."
The man froze.
His friends went dead silent.
The women around them collectively gasped and leaned in closer, as if watching a drama unfold in real-time.
"Wh.... how did you..." he stuttered.
Shuyin pouted dramatically. "Men always think women are stupid... but I..." She tapped her temple with a drunken flourish. "I can smell guilt."
She actually sniffed him, wrinkling her nose theatrically.
"Yep. Cheater smell."
Laughter exploded around them.
The man tried to escape, but Shuyin hooked her arm around his neck like she was claiming a prize.
"Wait, wait... I haven’t finished! You also borrowed money from your ex, didn’t pay it back, and said she was clingy for asking!" She gasped dramatically. "You’re a cheater AND a broke freeloader!"
The entire room broke into cheers.
"Expose him, Princess!"
"Justice!"
"Drag him!"
" Finish him completely Princess!"
His face turned beet red, and his friends slowly slipped away to avoid being the next target, this woman was truly fire burning.
Shuyin released him with a dismissive pat on the chest. "Go home and apologize to every woman you’ve ever met."
He bolted for the exit like his life depended on it.
TARGET #2: THE MAN WITH THE EXPENSIVE WATCH
A muscular man wearing a massive gold watch swaggered by, nodding at Shuyin with what he probably thought was charm.
He shouldn’t have made eye contact. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Shuyin locked onto him instantly, her expression turning suspicious.
"Wow... such a big watch..." She grabbed his wrist, lifting it like a trophy. "But your bank account says negative 14,000 yuan. Ah, so this is... FAKE CONFIDENCE!"
The man choked. "It... It’s real!"
"Nope." Shuyin tapped the watch face with her fingernail. "I saw it on a fake market stall. Same scratches on the side."
A waitress burst out laughing so hard she had to hold onto a table for support.
The man tried to defend himself, but Shuyin had already lost interest.
"Next!"
TARGET #3: THE MAN WITH TWO PHONES
A slick young man stood in the corner with two phones, one in each hand, frantically texting on both.
Shuyin gasped loudly enough to startle an entire section.
"AH! Double-phone man!" she cried out, pointing dramatically. "Double phone means double life!"
The man immediately hid one phone behind his back.
Too late.
Shuyin practically pounced on him.
"Who is ’Baby No. 1’?" She tried to peek at his screen. "And who is ’Babe with Long Legs’? You’re not even creative with names."
Women all over the club glared at their own partners, mentally calculating whether they had second phones hidden somewhere.
The double-phone guy turned so pale he looked translucent.
Suddenly, a woman stood up from another table and marched toward him, his actual girlfriend.
Shuyin blinked innocently. "Oh! Is she Baby No. 1?"
The girlfriend snatched the phone from his hand.
The club erupted in cheers as she chased him between tables, her voice rising in fury.
TARGET #4: THE "GENTLEMAN"
Shuyin spun and found another man, polite smile, hands in pockets, looking harmless.
Too harmless.
"Heyyy," Shuyin crooned, lightly slapping his cheek. "You look harmless."
He smiled nervously. "Well...."
"Harmless men are the WORST."
The club roared with laughter.
She pulled him close by the collar, her mermaid senses brushing against his thoughts.
"You are not cheating... mm... but..." She tilted her head. "You flirt with your coworker every day at lunch. The pretty one with the short hair."
He choked. "So what? It’s harmless...."
Shuyin pressed a finger to his lips. "Flirting becomes cheating after three months. Club rule. I just made it."
The crowd screamed in approval.
He tried to run, but the women blocked every exit like a wall of judgment.
The crowd was fever-high now.
Phones were up everywhere.
Laughter was nonstop.
The men looked like prey trapped in a glass maze.
Shuyin twirled once on her heel, nearly losing her balance, then steadied herself with dramatic grace.
"Next~!"
TARGET #5: THE "DEVOTED BOYFRIEND"
A tall man immediately straightened beside a nervous girl clinging to his arm. He lifted his chin proudly, like a knight presenting his shield.
Shuyin squinted at him.
"Oh... so brave," she murmured. "Standing so confidently."
He smiled politely. "My girlfriend trusts me."
The girl nodded quickly. "He’s very good to me."
Shuyin leaned in, her face inches from his.
Her pupils shimmered faintly, catching the light in an almost inhuman way.
"Mm... yes, you’re very good. Especially on business trips."
The man stiffened.
Shuyin tilted her head dreamily. "Hotel. 23rd floor. Redhead. Three nights. Same excuse to your girlfriend, ’late meetings.’"
The girl’s grip on his arm loosened.
"What... what is she talking about?" she whispered, her voice small and breaking.
