Trapped in the Beastworld Breeder System (BL)-Chapter 38: Did it feel good?
Aries momentarily lost both the will and the strength to move any part of his body. His limbs felt heavy, unresponsive, as though they no longer belonged to him.
Instead, his mind locked itself onto the torrent of emotions surging through him, overwhelming and all-consuming. The way Lucien’s hands worked firmly around his neck sent violent jolts of electricity racing through his body, each pulse stronger than the last, igniting every nerve ending in its wake.
His thoughts scattered, his brain burning as if set aflame, and when the kiss deepened, something inside him finally snapped loose. Only then did Aries realize he could move his hands again—hands he hadn’t even noticed were restrained until the pleasure had abruptly shifted. He hadn’t cared enough to question it before, not until now, not until Lucien’s grip loosened just enough for awareness to return.
This time, instead of pushing against Lucien’s chest to end the kiss, Aries acted on instinct. His hand slid up, fingers threading into the thick strands at the back of Lucien’s head, massaging firmly into his scalp. His other hand followed, coming to rest against Lucien’s chest, feeling the heat and strength beneath the fabric.
Aries moved deliberately now, purposefully. His fingers traced lower across Lucien’s chest, each slow movement drawing a sharper reaction. With every inch his hand descended, he felt Lucien’s grip tighten again around his neck—his breath hitching, chest heaving, vision blurring at the edges as moisture gathered in his eyes. Yet he didn’t stop. The kiss grew deeper, more consuming, and their actions became more reckless, igniting with every shared breath.
When Aries’s hand reached the narrow bridge between Lucien’s upper and lower body, his fingers grazing that fine, sensitive line, he felt Lucien’s hold falter. The pressure around his neck eased just enough for him to drag in a strained breath. Seizing the moment, Aries dropped his hand fully to the place he had been targeting all along. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
His fingers closed around Lucien’s hardness without hesitation.
A sharp gasp tore from Aries’s throat, swallowed immediately by Lucien’s mouth, and Lucien’s grip loosened completely. He jerked away as though burned, retreating from Aries in a single, unsteady motion, leaving Aries free at last.
Aries clutched his neck, sucking in air desperately as he struggled to regain his breath, his chest rising and falling unevenly. Across from him, Lucien stood frozen, visibly shaken, his body reacting before his mind could catch up. He lifted his hand, almost unconsciously, tracing his fingers along his lips as though trying to memorize the sensation of the kiss they had just broken.
It was different—unnerving, electric, deeply unsettling. The memory of it sent another jolt through him. Aries’s lips had been impossibly soft, addictive in a way that made his wolf stir violently beneath his skin.
It clawed at him, furious and demanding, outraged that the contact had ended. And that touch, that hand on the most private part of him had given him more pleasure than he had ever imagined possible.
The countless nights spent at pleasure houses, trailing after his brother... the carefully arranged companions his mother had selected out of fear he would grow old alone—none of it compared. The fleeting sensations from those soft, practiced hands grazing his body were pale, meaningless imitations of what he felt now.
This feeling forced a realization upon him—he hadn’t been immune all along. He had simply never found the right one.
Aries rubbed his neck slowly, grounding himself, and looked up to find Lucien standing there, caught in what looked like a trance. With a heavy sigh, Aries lifted a hand and waved it lightly in front of Lucien’s face. The movement finally drew his attention back, Lucien’s gaze settling on Aries, softening despite the turmoil behind it.
Then Lucien spoke, his voice low and gentle, threaded with confusion and a lingering awe.
"When I touched you there," he asked quietly, almost hesitantly, "did it feel good?"
The question caught Aries off guard. He hadn’t expected it—not curiosity, not comparison. A soft chuckle slipped from his lips before he could stop it, his voice steady despite everything.
"Did it?" he replied lightly. "Is that why you’re looking at me like you want to know whether I felt it too?"
And Aries successfully caught Lucien’s reaction. Color spread rapidly over Lucien’s face, a faint flush creeping up his cheeks as he blushed despite himself. His lips parted slightly before he spoke, voice lower than before, almost thoughtful.
"Then... I suppose we both felt good," Lucien said at last.
"Guess all you like," Aries replied, lifting his chin slightly as he looked at him, his tone calm but edged with something unreadable.
Only then did Lucien finally ground himself enough to think clearly about what had just happened. They had been kissing deeply, intensely and now they weren’t. And that break hadn’t come from him. It had come from Aries.
’Does this mean he wants more than kissing?’
That was the conclusion Lucien arrived at, especially after that earlier push. Yet the memory didn’t quite align. Aries had pushed him away while being touched so intimately, had that been rejection, or had he simply been suffocating under Lucien’s grip?
Trying to piece it together, Lucien chose what he believed to be the correct course of action. Steeling his resolve, he spoke again, voice sincere, unguarded.
"Though I haven’t done it before," he said quietly, "I don’t mind you being my first."
"Huh?"
Aries froze. He could only stare at Lucien, genuine confusion written all over his face. Whatever conclusion Lucien had reached, Aries knew instantly that it was heading straight toward a misunderstanding—one that was spiraling far faster than intended.
Before Aries could clarify or even fully react, Lucien moved.
In one swift motion, Lucien closed the distance between them and pushed Aries back onto the bed. Aries landed against the mattress with a soft thud, breath knocked from his chest as his legs were lifted and shifted aside. Lucien positioned himself between Aries’s thighs, bracing his weight carefully, gaze fixed and intent.
’Don’t tell me he’s actually planning to have sex with me!’
’He... thought this far ahead?’
’At least he isn’t being as aggressive as the Tiger King,’ Aries thought wildly, ’but this still isn’t—’
His thoughts cut off abruptly when a sudden coolness brushed against his skin. A cold breeze swept over his backside, and instinctively, Aries looked down.
His pants were in Lucien’s hands.
That was enough.
Aries surged upward immediately, legs flailing as survival instincts took over. He kicked Lucien square in the stomach and scrambled off the bed, heart racing. One hand flew to cradle his groin protectively while the other shot out, pointing sharply at Lucien.
"First, you choke me when I move," Aries snapped, breath uneven, "and now, when I don’t move, you try to do this?"
His eyes burned with disbelief. "Aren’t you being way too fast?"
"Huh?"
Lucien stared at him, utterly bewildered, still holding the discarded pants. Slowly, he let them fall from his grasp and sat upright on the bed, hands lifting in confusion.
"What did I do too fast?" Lucien asked honestly. "Didn’t you say we should sleep together?"
"I—" Aries grit his teeth, irritation flashing across his face. "I didn’t say that metaphorically. I meant it literally."
Lucien’s brows knitted together as he watched Aries, waiting, uncertain.
"Sleep together," Aries continued firmly, "on the bed. Till morning. Just... sleep."
The weight of those words hit Lucien all at once.
Embarrassment flooded him, sharp and overwhelming. The realization that he might have nearly crossed a line, that he could have forced something unwanted, filled him with a shame unlike anything he had felt before. Especially toward someone he was still trying to understand, still trying to protect.
Lucien rose quickly from the bed and stepped closer to Aries. His hand lifted instinctively, then stopped just short of touching him. His voice trembled, heavy with remorse.
"I’m deeply sorry," Lucien said. "I misunderstood your words and put you in that position. I should never have let that happen."
He lowered his head slightly. "Please... punish me, if you wish."
Aries stared at him, stunned.
He hadn’t expected this reaction. He had braced himself for defensiveness, maybe anger, perhaps even refusal. But this? This sincerity, this immediate accountability, it caught him completely off guard.
It forced Aries to see Lucien differently.
Among all the men he had encountered in the Beastworld, Lucien stood apart.
He wasn’t oppressive. He wasn’t entitled. He knew how to stop, how to listen, and most importantly—how to apologize. Something far too many beastmen seemed to have forgotten.
After a moment of silence, Aries finally spoke, his voice softer now.
"I... I also bear some fault," he admitted. "I could have said it more clearly."
"No," Lucien replied immediately. "If I had been patient enough, if I had truly listened, I would have understood."
There was a brief pause.
"Well..." Aries added quietly, averting his gaze just slightly, "I did enjoy the kiss."
